Im always impressed with the production for your vids. Especially doing it all yourself. That section around 10:30 with the forward shot with trees was so nice. And as always the 360 footage is amazing.
I used to live in Broomfield when I was in college. Spent many Saturday mornings stuck in traffic on I-70W Headed to Keystone/ Breck. Eldora is a pretty fun little park for a good powder day if you just want to see something different. It’s is small tho. Fun little terrain park (20 years ago)
When you can, hit berthoud pass! It was almost thirty years ago when I thumbed a ride from Breckinridge to the top and hiked a a little further. Skied some powder and river beds almost back to the parking lot. Thanks for the great content you create. Well done.
You were flying through some tight spots in the trees and that 360 camera shot was outrageous!

Considering where/how you ride, how come you chose Wildcat over Deathwish? Also how did you decide on length? I don't vibe with hugely long skis (maybe cos I'm a snowboarder??) but it's reassuring to see you choosing something 5cm~ shorter than you are.

I was thinking of picking up some skiboards but after seeing you shred it up on the 164cm skis, maybe I should just get a pair of shorter skis. The new skis coming out seem to be even more maneuverable than ever while still keeping the benefit of a bigger heavier ride.
I know you're married to skiboards and ride for rvl8 but do you see yourself continuing to use these moment skis on pow days?

Why such short skis? 164 is tiny. I’d think you’d ski a minimum of 170-180 for such rockered skis

164cm? Did you mean 184cm as that's the shortest I've ever heard of a guy skiing the Bibby/wildcats though most of us ski these in 190cm. The Deathwish 112 are also great in 190cm which i also have!
Have u tried out the soft boot bindings with the ski boards if so how is it?
I haven’t because the would be too soft for the type of riding I like to do. If you are just cruising around and not riding aggressive then soft boots could work for you.
@@TalonSei I’m about to buy a set of rvl8s but can’t decide I would love to use snowboarding boats I’m not too aggressive but will be riding park and backyard and doing back flips. I can’t deal with the chaffin of the ski boots
You definitely don’t want soft boots if you are riding any kind of park.

Great to see you on some actual skis! Those snow skate/ ski board things just don’t compare. Not to mention the lack of negative comments you probably get on the hill when on proper sticks. Moment makes some great skis (Made in the USA) and if folks are ever in the Reno area they should check out their factory and retail store. Some of most knowledgeable folks in the business and a great place to get some boots fit by the master himself, Fasa.

Don’t know if this makes total sense or not but you look like ride skis like a skiboarder (more upright with dynamic knees).
Riding style when going between skis or Skiboards isn’t going to change much.
@@TalonSei makes sense, like learning guitar, once you get beyond the beginner phase everyone adopts their own style.
