Cooper landing just outside of soldotna ak is absolutely beautiful, there is a trail there called Bear Mountain and at the end of the trail its unbelievable the view, I have been to kenai, soldotna, homer, anchorage, seward, juneau, and the ski resort Alyeska, alaska is beautiful and on another level, also check out denali

I don’t want to crap on my own country and province of Alberta……. But we can be quite a bunch of ****holes in Alberta. Same with BC. Not trying to make excuses but our economic downturn due to political BS has caused a ton of contention here and in turn flows over to our attitudes towards others. It has nothing to do with you being from Colorado and everything to do with the inconvenience of dealing with others period. I’m glad there were some nice people you met, and had that been my group….. we would have recognized the the rig and said hi 👋. Being from here I can say that we definitely take what we have for granted which is so sad. I have been to all the lower states as well…. While very beautiful in their own right I very much look forward to coming home to my mountains. Have a safe trip!

thanks for the video Talon. I also feel like I'm copying you sometimes but i swear we just like the same stuff. I am curious to see what you do next winter to fit the kimbo in the back. I just went on my first trip with the kimbo on my 2024 tundra and built a little drawer system for under it so it could clear the cab. I need to make some adjustments for it side to side in the bed so it doesnt slide around laterally (it did) when off roading. Overall it was amazing not going over 2000 rpms with the kimbo fully loaded and 5 bikes on my bike rack going over mountain passes haha. ps still running the black rhino wheels and tires i bought from you, took them off my tacoma when i sold it and put them on the new tundra. New tires are in the future but they look great on the new tundra

Tow hooks? 4’ wider turning radius…Too Bad Toyota has destroyed the Tundra with all the loose interior plastic, how’s the armrest holding up? “Full truck size truck life” includes a reliable v8… Hopefully that v6 doesn’t blow up…Good luck, because that resale just took a nose dive..

My understanding is it’s not about the power draw. The inverters on the Toyotas is not pure sin wave and that’s why they don’t charge power stations… you might check on that but that is what I have found.

I've owned 2 EVs and live in relatively rural Canada with intense winters, I've never had an EV lose battery percentage overnight while not being used. Really not sure how their Lightning could have lost 10% SoC overnight.

If you have the new Tundra you have to EDC a spare engine these days.
