- Servicing and replacing the regulator and actuation switch in the Studio S Low Profile Toilet. Follow these step-by-step instructions and you'll have your American Standard toilet up and running in no time.
Tools: allen keys
0:11 Step 1: Shut off water, and remove toilet tank cover to access regulator and actuation switch
0:16 Step 2: Remove, clean and/or replace regulatory assembly. The regulator screen can be removed and cleaned.
1:07 Step 3: Carefully attach water supply line to plastic regulator threads.
1:28 Step 4: Remove the white toilet tank cover frame using an allen key.
2:12 Step 5: After removing the cover, carefully attach actuator tubing to new actuation switch, with hose clamp.
2:35 Step 6: Fully insert white actuator line and install clip.
2:54 Step 7: Assemble actuator switch to tank cover frame.
3:30 Step 8: Carefully put back the tank cover frame back using an allen key.

Been having lots of problems of air blowing out and cannot seem to fill tanks.

Where can we buy the actuator switch part for this model? Can someone link a product link so that I can purchase? Having the same issue as below -- toilet does half flush every time
Hi, you should call American Standard as all parts have lifetime warranty!
I changed the Regulator 4 months ago and now the same problem has started….after flush 75% of the time water will not stop running and therefore, I will ask them to send me another Regulator to replace.

We had 'American Standard Low Profile Studio Toilet' two years ago and water constantly runs after flush every now & then and despite changing the Regulator & Actuator problem still persists.....I wonder if other people are having the same issue. The only way to stop water from running is to keep tapping the cylinder on the right side so I am assuming that is the issue. If anyone had the same problem and resolved it, please post here.....Thanks!
I'm intermittently seeing the same issue. Have not found a way of fixing it. I'd like to disassemble the whole flushing assembly and see if there's an obstruction somewhere but considering the price of the toilet I'm a bit hesitant in case I can't put it back together or in case I break a part. I can't seem to find any proper repair/diagnostic manual...
