His commitment to being the greatest windup merchant ever known is impeccable.
that kind of "windup" led to an 80 seat majority and Scotlands dreams of independence being fucking annihilated!
The SNP can't do anything.
We will do as the English demand!
This is the democratic will of the Scots in 2014!
The UNION is STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glasgow is Ireland, Edinburgh is England. Scotland is Inverness
I’m visiting Edinburgh soon, afterwards I’ll go into Scotland to see some family too but I’m looking forward to it
I love listening to Limmy slagging Edinburgh in his wee squeaky Glasgow voice.
“Take the other hawf anaw”😂😂😂
I moved to just outside Kilmarnock last year. Really pretty around here. A few too many Scots though.
the no harm meant analogy is perfect
Dublin is basically England too. That's why Mrs. Brown's Boys is popular in England.
The Northside of Dublin is generally seen as poorer, more Catholic and to some, more Irish. Whereas the Southside of Dublin on the other hand, is seen as more cosmopolitan, more wealthier and more Anglophile, hence the insult, West Brit.
Blahemburgh-isnae-Scotland
“Calm doon, it’s justa wee giggle. Noo harm”
That “you did this to yourself” disclaimer is classic abuser stuff
As an Edinburger, this is still funny.
Can I just ask... If Edinburgh is pronounced "Edinbruh", how are you meant to say Edinburger?
The latter is funnier

When I go through to Glasgow it’s like a shit version of London thats sliding into a river. When I go through to Edinburgh there’s castles and people playing the bagpipes and wearing kilts and shit. What’s with that? 😜
Aye, the fukin castles, bagpipes, kilts, and shit. What’s that all about?
Because when everyone knows it's an english city they put on a show to make themselves seem more scottish
Shows that it's an embarrassing, almost offensive, caricature of Scotland and its peoples. Touristy shit'ole
Someone is hurt
To compare Glasgow to the shitehole that is London is ludicrous
Thanks for the last video before the scotland game against Ukraine
Just to tell you I been watching your videos limmy ever since scotland drew against Ukraine and I been watching your videos for good luck hopefully it does work out at the end cheers for the clips Limmy and...
COME ON SCOTLAND 💙 🏴 🤍 💪 🇶🇦
Don’t back doon, double doon
You can tell that Limmy definitely doesn't have anything against Edinburgh. You only have to listen to his voice during the middle bit. He was straining so badly when trying to think of bad things to say about it :D
youre wrong he hates the english
@@BERTYTH3P0NY That went over my head for a minute. I'd been implying that he didn't struggle at all to say nasty things about Edinburgh, and I see what you did there. Have a like.
Cope
It's objectively nicer than Glasgow, and any real criticism also applies to Glasgow. You could say it has worse nightlife and is culturally a bit less lively but that's hardly scathing.
Better boozers but worse nightclubs
It’s a bit like how Harrogate isn’t Yorkshire, it’s in the county of Yorkshire but it might as well be classed as Very North Surrey or something
then what you class York as parts of it are prob nicer
@@estelleaeon what?
Harrogates a pure sinkhole
Harrogate has basically nothing going for it aside from posh people congregate there so they feel at home
harrogate is yorkshire + is p much the same as lots of other parts of yorkshire. york is nicer than harrogate, so if any part were to be excluded as per limmy's Edinburgh analogy, then York would be the one to exclude. and harrogate is nothing like anywhere in surrey- more like tunbridge wells kinda thing where is filled w/ middle class aspirational boomers (who don't have the real £££ to move somewhere better)
which game is this?
Went to edinburgh a few weeks back, as a self-hating Englishman I was sorely disappointed to be surrounded by other English people.
Don’t be so down on yourself, chin up. It’s not your fault you’re English.
Hate your parents.
@@Elephantstonica it’s the other English people that’s the problem. I’m perfectly fine, I just don’t like my association with the rest of the cunts.
Desperate cry for scottish friends...
scared to mention Northern Ireland Limmy cos that's exactly what happened there
GETHAT CLEPPED!
Limmy, what did you think of Trainspotting? And what did you think of the accents?
Graeme Jones (new temporary Newcastle manager) looks like Limmy!
Tyneside is Scotland's Gibraltar.
@@RenegadeShepard69 like liverpool being irelands 33rd county
I didn't take any ham from Limmy
Checkpoint (Bonnie Prince) Charlie lol
so should hearts be playing in the English Football League and Hibs can remain in the Scottish Premiership?
Never been to leith then I take it hehee
daft weegie
It's because of the castle. Weegies haven't got a castle and it pure rips their knitting. Even Stirling's got one hahahahahahaha
Glasgow has three, Crookston, Bothwell and Gilbertfield. Castles are pish
@@chesterwhut1006 Castles are only pish if yer castles are pish. Bothwell is in Lanarkshire so that's cultural appropriation! The other 2 are auld sheds
Dont forget that Glaswegians all have a complex
Chookters are the shame of Scotland
Aye that's about all Stirling's got fs 😂
Well he got a reaction oot ye, yev got tae give him that
What about Leith though? Is it included in England or is it exempt?
Leith is in Edinburgh whether they like it or not
Well it doesn’t sun in Scotland and there’s Sunshine on Leith; as such Leith is English
Days gone just recently completed it 2 months great game
Roadhouse
Ghost
Old man confusing Edinburgh with the Borders.
Borders are more Scottish than Edinburgh. Edinburgh is just some English enclave. Like Benidorm, a nice holiday destination for the imperial overlords where they don’t need to contend with too many natives.
Borders is the best place in Scotland
@@TheMrjake88 the borders’ only real purpose was as a buffer zone to make England’s job a bit trickier every time they decided to invade actual Scotland.
Karl Pilkington thinks the same
I know for a fact the papers will go aff their nut.
Glasgow feels more like where I grew up in England than Edinburgh does. As such I prefer Edinburgh.
So... North of Prince's Street can stay part of Scotland, anything South can be English. Easy.
Edinburgh is further north than Glasgow and there’s a castle………jusssssssssayin
it will become a northern ireland ...while edinburgh might not be scotland there are some scottish people who live there
Aye all you have to do is look at Irvine Welsh's work to get an idea of how Scottish elements of Edinburgh are. I know that back in his day, some people said that Leith isn't Edinburgh, but even still, there are still parts of Edinburgh today that are 100%, without a doubt Scottish. I ended up near Saughton prison after getting a bus all around the city, in this horrible, schemie area that was like Easterhouse or something. Limmy's obviously being a wind-up merchant but when you think about it, in some ways and in certain areas, Edinburgh is more Scottish than Glesga, in a way precisely BECAUSE of the whole "Edinburgh is England" patter.
Lol so what happens to Edinburgh after independence then? Will it be like Brexiters in Spain?
He forced the harhem Blahem
Its the same as Belfast, its England.
Just a wee joke.
At least it's not Fife eh? It's still the 90s there eh?
What they still having massive fucking raves and necking shit loads of eccies an that?
They should cut Fife out of the country and attach multiple anchors to it so it sinks into the ocean for good!
If Fife really was still in the 90's, the population there would be over 100 million by now !
Doesn't have anything against it
Que all the 'I'm a Leither, Leith's no Edinburgh' comments..
Edinburgh is the London of Scotland - accounts for half of GDP. Probably.
God Damn Pricks aye
@@tompoynton haha!
I’d agree with this - both areas full of cunts
Yeah and because of that they can rot in hell
Lovin the light hearted banter
It's a strange phenomenon because for much of the world the only place in Scotland they know is Edinburgh (pronounced Edin burrow) and so for much of the world, Edinburgh is Scotland.
Aye, where men wear skirts and Mel Gibson is king
I'd say Glasgow is just as well known if not more. I certainly knew of it long before Ed in Burg as many call it over here.
I'm from Edinburgh and watch Limmy's streams, but if ye dinnae stoap disrespectan me I'll fuckan leave eh
Stop punching yourself.
The 'eh' at the end of every sentence definitely confirms yer fae Edinburger. 🙄 Top marks for honesty 😂
‘At fuckin accent...
@@stephenbarr4323 That is about the fifer accent. Get your patter sorted you three.
@@RockyOutcrop all non Glaswegian regional accents sound the same.
I refer to Glasgow as 'Bum Town' ...sometimes 'Shits Ville'
England can take Edinburgh if they leave us Leith

All of Scotland is de facto English
Anyone else think limmy is startin to look pretty puffy, a bit bloated
There's no vowel at the end of Edinburgh, UK. Please accept this. -Yours, North America.
Chill....most of us Scots call it 'Edinburger' anyway 😎
