I want to make some oil-free tempeh but I can only make it on a skillet. I cannot be baking it in the oven.
is it necessary to steam/boil tempeh to remove strong taste?
Can I use BBQ sauce to coat the tempeh and then bake it at the temperature you had it on for 20-30 minutes?

Hi Morriah, I don't preheat the tempeh. I use it straight from the package and proceed as in the video :) hope this helps

You can make it yourself. There are plenty of recipes on the internet. It's traditionally made with soybeans, but can be made from different type of beans (black beans, black-eyed peas, chickpeas, etc...).
