These are so unique! I’m really excited about trying the pot roast.
I just made the tuna salad, but didn't bother with marinating because I wanted it NOW! I crumbled the tempeh, added vegan mayo, mustard, lemon juice, and crumbled some nori seaweed (actually put it in the Vitamix with some sunflower seeds - the seeds kept the nori weighted down under the blades), and mixed it all together! Yum!
The instant pot recipe is calling my name 🤤
Caitlin, i made the tempeh pot roast for my vegan husband and he loved it! He said it's so filling in a good way and it's nice to have something different from tofu.
I think I want to try the tuna salad first. I’ve just only now turned to a plant 🌱 based /vegan diet, and I’m 47 yrs. old. I’m really enjoying your videos and I can’t wait to try out your recipes. Tempeh so good! Used to have it as a special at a bistro i worked at. Steamed, seared, and served with pickled blueberry bbq sauce and orzo salad! Pro tip: steam until heated through before cooking to tame the cultured taste.

This was very helpful; thank you! That last recipe looks *DELISH!!* I’m not familiar with tempeh at all, so this was extremely useful. I was disappointed (and even shocked) when I went to the grocery store a few days ago only to find even my vegan friendly foods out of stock! (Btw, you *KNOW* people are panicking from this pandemic if they’re even scooping up vegan meat, milk, and egg alternatives!) I created a post on Nextdoor asking if anyone would like to set up a barter or trade system so everyone has enough food and essentials during our self quarantine because of COVID-19, and someone replied that they had two packages of tempeh they’d like to trade for some of my plant based milk and coffee creamer.
Again, I appreciate the recipes, and even more so the links to your website so I can look at the list and quantity of each ingredient.

Ooh that tempeh pot roast looks so cozy and hearty!! I made a tempeh spaghetti bolognese the other day which was awesome, but my favorite usage so far is making tempeh bacon crumbles to top vegan mac and cheese :)
I love tempeh. I use to avoid the steaming process because I thought it wasn’t necessary..... big mistake. I now steam it 😅. All your recipes look delicious!

Oh my goodness I tried the BBQ Tempeh and it was delicious. I put it on some sour dough bread and voilà fantastic. I’m going to try the other 2 recipes this week, I’ll let you know my opinion on them later, but this is definitely one I’m going to make over and over again, so simple and so tasty, thank you for sharing.

As an experiment I made a pumpkin curry with tempeh in my instant pot, and cooked it for 10 minutes on high pressure, and then let it go down naturally. It was a texture I've never had in tempeh.

I couldn't wait and I made it today. The sauce and veggies on the pot roast were amazing. The tempeh was ok but not bad for my first try 👍🏼 I will try to sear it better next time. This will definitely be on the recipe rotation 🤩

There is good simple n basic way,u can make it crispy or Fry dip it with Stock/Salt.or if you want make it healtier u can Boiled Tempeh with Garlic and put Little bit salt on it

I think that I would like the BBQ tempeh. I bought some from Trader Joe's and marinated it in Balsamic vinegar, oyster sauce and chopped garlic. Delicious.

you should looking for the recipe by using "tempe" word, its the origin name from indonesia,.. or u cant use spesificly using translate like "resep tempe mendoan".

Hi, I just stumbled across your video while searching for a quick way to make Tempeh. I just got back into weight lifting and now have the need to get a good deal of protein in my body (.7 grams of protein per pound of body weight). It's a real pain and not that easy to find quick great tasting sources of protein when you are mostly Vegan (yeah, I know Vegans hate that phrase). It's basically beans as my main protein source in addition to vegan protein powders. That being said, I want to find more quick recipes for Tempeh and Tofu - no more than 15 minutes total. It's basically a step higher than just opening a can of garbanzo beans and adding some celery onions and mayo. Thanks for your great vids!

I usually cook deep fry tempeh, it's simple all you need for seasoning just salt and cumin and you can combine with sauce
