    Hey bud, I see you live in Adelaide, would you say the 150mm rear travel on this is enough for trails here such as the mixer and fox long? (Never ridden anything below 180mm so I'd like to know what you think)

    • @nigehill
      @nigehill  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah it’s a good all rounder for a mix of riding and doesn’t blow through the travel. Could maybe use an extra 10mm on the rear for the Mixer gaps but besides that it’s fine. I think 160/170 would be perfect though

    Thanks How is the fork? Is it comparable to fox 34 or 36? I am trying to decide between this one and polygon t7. Any idea which one would be better? I appreciate your opinion. Thx

    • @nigehill
      @nigehill  Před 2 lety +1

      I was happy with the Forks performance as it’s the same as the Fox 36 rhythm but I’ve now also installed the coil conversion for the Z1 which has made it even better.

      hi im not too sure whats different on the 2021, if there is a change at all. you'll definitely be happy with it. I have changed the drive train and brakes as in my latest vid ive just posted. happy shreding and good luck with the new sled!

    So true, the standard build brakes are not good at all

    • @nigehill
      @nigehill  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah I put them on my Avalanche Hardtail and they’re great for light duties. I didn’t like the feel of the levers compared to the XT levers. They are great budget brakes though.

    Hey mate would you know if this is a playful type of bike, can it do jumps easily, bunny hops, manuals etc. I’m thinking of getting a second hand one

    • @nigehill
      @nigehill  Před 2 lety

      Comes down to rider skill mate but it has a 442 chain stay which is a little longer than most and being a 29 there are probably more playful ones but it’s on rails and it can definitely jump.
