- Thanks to my friends at Rhoddie Bicycle Outfitters in Blowing Rock NC (www.rhoddiebicycleoutfitters.c..., I was able to demo a cool high-pivot bike, the GT Force! You have likely seen Phil Kmetz ripping on one of these things on his channel, Skills With Phil ( / @skillswithphil ! This is a 170mm/160mm enduro bike with a carbon front triangle and alloy rear triangle, alloy wheels, a SRAM SX drivetrain, TRP brakes, a WTB Silverado saddle, Rockshox Yari fork, Rockshox Super Deluxe Select shock, and Fabric FunGuy grips. I tested it out at Rocky Knob Park in Boone, hitting jumps, drops, and tons of rock gardens to see how the high pivot responded, and was pleasantly surprised! The 78 degree seat tube angle is also a highlight, as is the 63.5 degree head angle - great geometry!

Hell yeah, glad you enjoyed the bike!
Makes me wanna go hit a bike park immediately!
no have gt force for buy in brazil................
This is my bike park dh bike. I just upgraded the fork to top spec and had to replace all the bearings after a season. It's a bear on the climbs, but has done everything I've thrown at it, and could do way more than my skill set easy. Only thing is that I can't find the derailleur hanger for it anywhere.
Did you get a Zeb ultimate or a 38 factory?
The bikes hub is loud ?
Not too bad. Nowhere near an I9 or Chris King I don’t think
So I was a GT rider since the 80’s had multiple performers. When I got into mtb I naturally went with GT got me a helion xc bike. Well the bike didn’t last 2 years and when a pivot bolt broke they said sorry we don’t make those anymore so now I have a pice of junk frame just sitting rotting away. I would NOT recommend GT to anybody in fact I would tell you to return that bike and go with Santa Cruz
