Great review of the switchblade. I really enjoy my switchblade. Feels like I'm pedaling an exercise bike when climbing steep areas, the squat because of the dw link rear suspension I can climb some serious areas and can send it downhill. It's an all-day fun trail bike that soaks up anything.

Thanks so much. Yea it has such a great suspension platform with the DW link. Super efficient for the bike. Handles amazingly! It’s always so cool to see what pivot brings to the table. Such a great company t

Sub 30lbs is absolutely a game changer. I agree with your buddy. The new Yeti SB 140 LR 29'er is the way to go. What a performer at less than 30lbs. 😀🤣😀 Good video, thanks

I got mine in June, and because I have not ridden mtb in 8 years, I immediatly felt that this bike needs to be pushed before it wakes up. For me it's also like a mini enduro, and for my use I could easily have something less burly than this. Because of supply shortages here and there and what not, I just could not let the opportunity pass when I found one in the right color, size and spec and I could just go and pick it up at a local bike shop.
I have to do a lot of pedaling uphill on my rides, so I have flipped the chip to favor this. It was a lot more noticeable than I imagined, but still I should optimaly have had a different bike for my use. The biggest benefit I noticed was so much less bashing of the bashguard, as well as less pedal strikes(flatties)
This bike is very capable when going down(for being a trail bike) so I just wish I had more of that kind of terrain where I live. I'm still going to keep it, but I'm very eager to get a light and poppy hardtail or at least a lot less burly full suspension like a 120/130 suspension platform, and maybe even 27.5" wheels.

That’s a great way of describing the bike! I’m glad your getting back into the sport. There’s so many options for bikes now a days so it’s a bit of trial and error finding the perfect one for your needs. It is a great it has the flip chip and I noticed also less pedal strikes and bash contact.
