Great looking watch, my next purchase for sure. I think another bracelet that would work really well would be Strapcode's Hexad (the straight endlink version) which works so well with the Samurai. The dial is great, the red one shown is a belter. It's a shame it doesn't have a decent hi beat movement altho' the NH35A is fair enough.
I really like that watch but on that bracelet gives it that extra WOW.

It's getting harder and harder to justify overpaying for Seiko's with iffy QC, when stuff like this exists.

That is a very good looking watch, and at less than $200 that's a very nice price. But the case is very cool. The bracelet is amazing too.
I will agree having the Lume on the tip of the secondhand would be better but the design on the second hand was well thought out. Instead of the tip pointing to or touching the chapter ring, the counter balance is pointing to the seconds on the chapter ring. Super cool when you see it. Maybe not as accurate but absolutely pointing to the chapter ring.
I received this watch today:) It looks "really" nice. I think it sits well on my 6.7 inch wrist, not too big for me. Actually i like its big size. I can say that this is the best looking watch I've ever had:) It's like I'm wearing a Grand Seiko:) And I looked carefully and should also say that the cyrstal is not flat, it's slighlty domed. Nice touch from Heimdallr:) Thank you again for the nice review.
Great review. Fantastic job, on size it's identical to my Orient Mako XL so it's a big one. Will suit my 8" wrist but it might be too much for very slim wrists. On the qc issues, I'd forgive that, as it's not a Grand Seiko so there's a big price difference. It's a very attractive watch, case is excellent, like the big crown, even though it's a Grand Seiko with a Seiko movement, I believe the original has an extremely high beat 36,000 bpm (I might be wrong there), but still think a high beat movement, even a PT5000 movement might give the watch a better look. That's a great bracelet too!

Second comment… I’m ordering this watch as I have ordered two others from the brand including the monster frost Homage… They are outstanding values and beautiful watches… I’ve got two of the Seiko monster V1 and V4…The Homages or as good or better in every way

What a beautiful watch! Let me confirm that I thought the photos were gorgeous but that the watch I have in hand is even nicer looking! Mine doesn't have any of the tightening in any of the bezel rotation and my indices are all good. I'm very very happy and the watch is just physically gorgeous at all times!
I do wish that the crown was signed, and I also noted the very slim and short illumination on the minute hand. Hand. In the daytime, this is a striking watch. In the actual dark, that minute hand is hard to find.
Finally, let me echo that the burgundy strap is spectacular with this watch and the buckle is not only nicely signed, but it's angular like the case! Fantastic job by Heimdallr!!
Pity the minute hand doesn’t reach the edge of the dial to almost touch the minute marks and the date window isn’t equal with the hour markers. A black date wheel would have been better too.

I was thinking about putting an engineer bracelet on mine because I think the facets on the bracelet would compliment the facets on the case
I spied this back when it was released but the size put me off, otherwise I would have jumped on it straight away
WOW - Looks fantastic! I've never worn a razor wire bracelet would be interesting to try. With the bezel being so smooth and numbered like the original, it should have been left fixed like the original, that would have solved one issue. The red one you have is just beautiful, I think the best of the bunch. For the $$$ I might just have to try this one. Another great review - Keep up the great work!

It's a good looking watch. The only issue I find is the shape and finishing of the crown do not seem to be in line with the overall design and quality. Also, perhaps a high beat movement as an option. Regards

I know this is an older video but I just came across this model. I'm wondering how this compares size wise to the MarineMaster 300 (or homages to it). Is the MM slightly bigger? I can pull off the MM but it's at my absolute limit. This Godzilla is tempting me but I don't want to buy a watch I can't wear.
It sits pretty similar to be honest, just a touch larger on lug 2 lug

Its model dependent, generally san martin are better but some heimdallr models are as good as OEM

I love the design of the case. Would this be okay on a 6inch wrist? I have a watch with 48mm lug to lug that fits me fine (pagani design speedmaster) but the 50mm lug to lug on this worries me.

What did you end up getting?
I have a 6.7 inch (17cm) wrist. I ordered this watch and i believe it won't look very big on my wrist. But 6 inch wrist is a little small for this watch to be honest. I think you'd better look for a little smaller watches than this one.
Is there a bigger version of this? Because the ones i`m seeing are claiming to be 49.7 mm wide. Or are they including the crown?

I like the look of the razor wire bracelet ... but 1) how easy is it to resize? And 2) how rattly is it? It looks very loose and jangly and rattly.
The bracelet is very loose and jangly but it is designed for that and it is comfortable, not to mention the bad ass aesthetics. Redizing is complicated compared to others but you've just got to look at the wire pattern and reinstall

Yes but the bracelet is making it to really stand out. Uncle Seiko is asking $89,- for this...and that is a lot to upgrade a watch like this. That makes it 50% more expensive....
Yeh i agree but i have seen people spend ridiculous money on bracelets. The benefit of this being from China and being cheaper, you still get a lot of watch in comparison to a watch that is worth thousands for the original

The Godzilla has a fixed bezel and hence the bezel can be numbered that way; however, with a rotating bezel it does not work, who wants to see upside down numbers at 12 o'clock? They probably should have gone with a fixed bezel.

As much as I enjoy my watches with NH35A movements, this design would just work better with a hi beat, 42mm diameter and a fixed bezel, imo.

As much as I hate to admit it I absolutely love this watch and Heimdallr They have never let me down and since I'm a sucker for exotic straps and that leather strap is one of the best imitations I have seen from any Chinese watch company So in short I'm sold Now just settling on just one dial color could be a problem and many Thanks for another Gold standard review my friend and keep your powder dry Happy Hunting 👍

Bracelet is heinous, not my style. Their logo is goofy. Everything else looks baller.
Yes I wish they would dump the logo and I don’t like the way the end links of the bracelet move so the gap and angle between it and the case can change. Reminds me of old cheap seiko bracelets.
