I'm glad to see more manufacturers are making micro versions of what used to be bigger guns. For example if you own a FN509, you'll be pretty familiar with their new micro. Here's hoping CZ follows suit with their P10 or P07.
I just said this exact thing when I saw this video... Please, please give me a REAL Micro P-10 (not that glorified Glock 43 P-10M) or P-07/P-05.
there is a mirco p10 ;-)
The P10 S fits me great. I'm still puzzled why CZ discontinued that but is still rolling out the M
@@nunyabidness7547 yes, technically... But it is an outdated, lukewarm attempt at what people are actually asking for. Single stack, heavy trigger, not optic ready.
CZ knew long before they released the P-10M that it was ten years late to the game.
CZ can just bring back the RAMI.
Was literally at the gun counter about to pull the trigger on a Hellcat when my FN collector buddy texted me that this was just released...so I decided to wait for this to hit shelves. Coming from a 509 Midsize, the Reflex makes perfect sense for EDC.
I will say this I own the Hellcat pro .. 15+1 and then with my extended mag 18+1 .. conceals great .. I haven’t shot the 509.. but I can say for sure Hellcat is awesome weapon
@@mikenesheim1138 the original cat is my daily. I really want the pro as it seems perfect in every way
@@wildmikefilms just picked up the rdp over the pro. Actually has a .1 inch longer barrel. Costs a bit more but came with an smsc red dot and a cool looking compensator. Cant go wrong with the pro though.
I was in between purchasing a hellcat and R7 mako this week, I’m glad i saw this video when I did
Will try to find it online to buy! Probably all sold out already!😂
I agree with your assessment of the Reflex. I watched your video after I purchased my FN. I compared the feel and looks with Kimber's Mako, Springfield's Hellcat, and Sig's P365, and I kept coming back to the FN Reflex. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thanks for the video.
I just realized I’ve been watching you for at least 4 year , thank you 🙏 for all your great content Brodda
Just bought an FN 509 CC edge and I love it! This will likely be my next purchase.
This gun was just released 2 days ago and you already have it to test. That’s more impressive than the gun itself! A rep came into my local gun store yesterday to show it off. He thinks the name is crazy too! Lol!
Just simple ergonomics because of physical size.Looks like fun.Revflex is a cool name.
He works for FN
Internet influencers / media folks get unreleased guns way before their release date to have their reviews ready to drop the day the gun is introduced. It's all a marketing gimmick. Colion is sponsored by FN (along with anyone else who will give him money)
He's got a big enough channel that I would think manufacturers would send him them to review
@@timwilson7326 I agree but wow it’s still fast!
Thanks Colion for your 2A input as always on your reviews. I like FN a lot and holding out for the price. I already have their 45 Tactical and love it. Got to get a grip on one of these next to time I'm in the gunstore. I know I'll like it better than the Hellcat pro and Sigs p365 macro that it took them 4 times to get right. Enjoyed the video and keep up the good work.
The camera focusing on the pistol while going from close-ready to a full-ready is really cool. I'm sure it's nothing new to CZcamsrs, but giving it some thought myself it is cool.
I don't think I'll ever leave the hellcat platforms I just love how I've mastered that gun like no other pistol in my lifetime I'm very confident in it
Same 💯
Yea I've been leaning heavy toward the hellcat pro. I'm waiting to get my hands on the mete mc9 so I can compare/ contrast them before I pull the trigger on buying the hellcat though.
You are so funny and descriptive as hell, too. I love how you described “bouncy” & and I could GET IT.
There are lotsa really good YTers who promote different firearms & the 2A…but you are #1, Colion.
FN has been knocking it out of the park the last few years. Just wished the secondary market was there for their lineup.

My FNX45 is my very favorite pistol.

It should be available to the common people.
I've been looking for months for my CCW. I love my 509T but I want something smaller. This looks like the perfect answer - thanks for the video! Might not have known about it otherwise and might have went with a 503 or 365 variant.
Lol, thanks for the laughs there at the end.
I love my FNS9C. Wonder how this would fill the role of little brother for better concealment.
Wish I had a range around to try it out as a rental. Had a Ruger LC9 that I despised. Even with an instructor's help I wasn't very accurate with it. Wife and I both sold those.
Stop just stop I’m already in the doghouse 😎✌️ great work as usual 👍👍

You got it backwards. Hide your new FN’s in the doghouse. Your wife never needs to know.
If she finds them, pretend your back in school and just blame it on the dog.
@@erics2091 Genius 👍👍👍
You hide them they know we got them😅😅😅
That's a very nice looking and smooth shooting, from what could be seen in the video and your description. Thxs Colion.
I like that FN didn’t come out with this right at the gold rush of the micro compacts. When companies do this, because it allows this pistol to get more eyes on it and not be over shadowed with all the other hot new wiz bangs on the market. Because there’s a few that came out during the big push that has been overshadowed and might be great micro comps but, you didn’t really take notice. So great timing I say🤙🏽…
Yeah the amount of research we put into it and from a quality standpoint we made sure it was a great product. Yes I work at FN.
It usually means that they took their time and did it right when a company delays a product. I wanted to add this, then I saw Cameron's comment. 👍👍
When will it be available?
But it did tho bc I jus found out about this
H&K is still developing there's.
As a happy Five-seveN owner, I've been comparing pistols from Ruger, FN, and S&W for concealed EDC. As soon as I read about the Reflex on the FN site, I felt like this is what I really wanted all along. I'm watching videos on it now. Can't wait to hold it at the store soon and hopefully have my first EDC.
Just remember it has no external safety.
External safety's suck lol
@@Three60Crusaderonly thing they do is get you killed that’s why 99% of carry guns now a days don’t have safety’s and you don’t see or hear them just goin off.

Love your vids. Love a guy that can add humor and laugh at himself when the mouth doesn't say what you want it to say. That repete was Awesome and the smile and laugh that followed.
Can't wait to pick up one ot these. (Would have loved to hear your two cents on which you prefer - the P365 or this Mini-Me 509.)

@@zackbogart2604 Hate that gun... More like that lack of accessories.
I need the reflex, I have the 509t and cc'ing in the warm months is hard, due to my clothes
@@Genessis001 accessories is the call of the Glock boy
@@zackbogart2604 right....which is why every other FN has decent shit.. Like decent holsters and threaded barrels that you can purchase aftermarket that are actually available, in stock & not only made by 1 company who never ever has them. I love FN, clearly the market doesn't love that model.
Also- buying accessories has nothing to do with GLOCK. I don't even know why you'd make that statement. So stupid
So many good options now. Wish this was out when I was getting into the micro 9 market last year. But now I love my p365xl so don’t think I will change.
I was just about sold on the Sig P365X as my next carry, but then FN comes out with this and gets me reconsidering my choice.
Love FN. one of the most underappreciated handguns out there.. I have FNS-9 and FNX 40.. great shooting pistols
Dude I love my FNS-9. Snappy trigger and accurate. Bold front sight. No jams since my 6th shot through it. It has at least 5000 rounds. Great gun! 17 plus 1 capacity.
Fnx 45 is amazing love it.
FN makes quality firearms. I enjoyed the video!
Literally just won one at a gun feed and where else would I go to look for a solid review 🤘🏻
Much like the FN 9C, on a 509 chassis. The 9C came with 2-12 and a 17 round Mag, black and two- tone guns were available.
Glad to see that they improved the trigger since the FN509 needs MCARBO springs to smooth it out. Also glad to see that they went with an internal hammer since the striker pin on the F09 had reports of them braking. It's worth noting that they did not come out with a fire control unit, but they are still charging a premium for their pistols.
I replaced my P365's striker assy. spring with MCARBO's spring & got light primer strikes where none existed before. I also changed my AR15's trigger spring with an MCARBO & it did have light primer strikes. Going back to the original made the gun as reliable as before the spring changeouts.
@@ronolson2024 I had zero issues with the MCARBO spring kit for the FN509 C. Then again I also replaced the OEM striker with the Apex Tactical.
The newer 509s have an upgraded firing pin too.
@@aguyinpostfalls i’ll be sure to send mine in for a replacement of the firing pin
@@ronolson2024Mcarbo springs on my p365 also had a good amount of light primer strikes. Wasn’t reliable enough for me so I also returned back to factory. It’s back to 100% reliable
Reflex is perfect, looks like a terrific shooter.
Ooh wee! You the 1st person with a review on the Reflex. I love FN. They are my personal favorite firearms brand. Not saying they are the best. But they are one of the top brands. Awesome video bro.
I shot a 509c for the first time to day and I was absolutely taken aback. What the FRICK that was the smoothest most enjoyable shooting experience I've ever had. Now here I am looking into FN.
Looks super good, and seems like a good size. Curious how it will look a few months from now when they get out there a little bit more.
The Fn9c is still my everyday carry still love it and shoots as if brand new 10 years later
This one looks like they dusted off the 9c drawings and tweaked around the edges. If it shoots like my 9c, it will join my collection.
FNS9c for the win!!!! Beautiful pistola, a gem
I loved that lil mf. Somebody stole mine smmfh still hurt about that till this day
That was a fun and informative review. Nicely done! Reflex!!
MY FAVORITE CHANNEL, PERSONALITY, ETC. BY FAR. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE SHOTS OF THE GUNS FEATURED THEMSELVES AND HOW TO FIELD STRIP.
Been waiting for this to make a debut!
man I wish I had an open area private/low trafic range like that
Aw snap! Been looking for a new carry. This fits the bill. Thanks boss!
Their very nice Fn always delivers with their handguns really been waiting to see more companies come out with compact 45s I know it mite be less rounds but I see very few compact 45s.
It doesn't make sense you would be limited to 6-8 rounds. Also, .45 is getting less and less popular.
I didn’t like the ergos on the fn 45 when shooting but that was also out of a more powerful caliber. I’d love to try a 9mm fn. I don’t see myself picking this up due to enjoying my hellcat and 43x and wanting to pick up a sig macro in the near future. Great video
I have a hellcat as well. It's a bit heavy but I love it.
@@LionRabbit it is a bit heavy but sights are amazing and texturing
I've never owed a FN. The Reflex is a consideration. Your review is important to me and really helps. My current ccw is a Hellcat pro with a Apex ext. Threaded barrel. For my rotation I'm considering the Rival. Thanks for the review. 😂
Such a cute lil guy...I kinda need one now! Thank you for a great review video as always!!!
Outstanding FN!.. I have to add this Reflex to my collection. Oh and FN is never behind the game. Thank you.
Glad to see they have improved the trigger. Not a bad price for a good reliable gun. But I'm satisfied with my Caniks. Good video 😊. Do a video comparison with the 365 and MC9... oh ya and the Hellcat.

I like the idea of an ambidextrous magazine release...would love an ambidextrous slide stop/slide release too because I'm left handed.
I have the FNX45 Tactical. The trigger is ok. My EDC is the Sig.365 but I tuned the trigger just a little. I'd like to try this one out though. I like the idea of the internal hammer.
I'm so glad they realized the 503 was a massive flop and put this out so quickly.
I picked one up about 2 weeks ago. Nice pistol. Accuracy was good. Just wish it would have hit closer to point of aim. It shot 6” low at 10 yards and 4” left. Shot it again from a pistol rest and it improved some. 4 1/2” low. Still 4” left. Moved rear sight too get it to shoot straight, but couldn’t do anything with the elevation. So, it went back to the factory. I’m waiting to see what they say, or do. Other than that, I liked the pistol.
So basically it's you, not the pistol. I shot my brothers and it's spot on..
@@whatsup24_7 I have around 20 other pistols and revolvers that I shoot. Most, not all , shoot to point of aim. I doubt it’s me.
It's you. Try this before you spend time sending guns back. Shoot higher if it's shooting low. Then you'll find out where you are on filling up the rear sight. Also shoot intuitively or point and shoot then correct. This is where people like myself have problems with shooting at targets. Ever get the chance go to a safe secluded spot on the river and set up beercans in the sand and shoot at those instead of targets. You'll get a lot better and you'll appreciate what you paid good money for.
Did FN fix it for you ?
Several reviewers have had issues with accuracy.
Have to add to my off duty carry list. Already carrying the 509 LS Edge on duty and the CC Edge for back up.
These double stack micro 9's are great! They're wide enough to get a good grip so the pistol doesn't jump around. I am a happy owner of a Hellcat. It's concealable, good capacity and fun to shoot!.
What a cool little pistol. It's comparable to the Ruger Security 9 Compact. The Reflex is just a hair smaller.
However, $600 MSRP vs $360. Lots to think about lol.
I know that the price gap is substantial, but personally I believe the overall quality, engineering and materials seem better on Walthers and FNs. That new Walther PDP F, is not only for the women folk ! The trigger is damn fine. Take a look at one, if you get a chance. Except for being a little wide in the slide, It seems terrific. I'm going to be really torn between getting that next, versus the FN Reflex.
Very funny video! :D It will always be the 509 minime to me. I currently use the Springfield Hellcat for carry and enjoy shooting it too, so I'm having trouble justifying a replacement to myself....but dang, I really want one of these now!
NICE! Like the looks, capacity, optics cut, and an accessory rail.
Glad I found a fellow FN nerd. Always look forward to your FN vids. Hell yea

Looks a lot like my xds, which I love the looks of. Just with more rounds and red dot ready.
Much love to you noir, love your channel my guy 🙏🏼
I'm glad that a few times that I almost bought an FN 503, because of it's very concealable size, I hesitated. All because of the very low capacity. These days many home invaders or street thugs travel in packs like feral animals. Six rounds is possibly precious few. I'm okay with ten rounds, a few more is added security. This pistol should sell extremely well. From the few reviews I've seen, it's getting favorable comments about it's "shootability".
Same thing with me I love my 509 so I thought the 503 would be great but i hated the feeling of the grip on it. I don’t know anyone who has one or has anything good to say about it and I’m pretty sure it was a rare flop for fn
I feel like I’ve seen this EXACT comment years ago 😂 so many people share this sentiment so ur on point.
As someone who bought a 503 on a whim not long before the reflex got announced, my first words when I see the reflex today were "mother fucker". That being said I still like my 503, but once I get a reflex it will at most be relegated to range toy or back up gun (or even back up to the back up). The reflex instantly went to the top of my shopping list the moment I read its features
@@harmansmith84 ... I was not concerned about the grip, as I don't have large hands. I hate tiny grips but thought the 503 was acceptable, and
liked that it was ultra concealable. I didn't even mind the trigger being a little long and heavy. I thought it would have been an ideal deep conceal gun, because it was slim and short in length, without being to tiny like a Ruger LCR. I just couldn't abide the small capacity. The small Beretta 9mm "APX Carry" was very much the same. Also to little capacity.
A handgun is for fighting your way to a rifle. Clint Smithism✌
Can't go wrong with FN
Just when I decided on the Plus, I have to go back to the store and try this out. Lucky me.
Excellent video. I'm excited. However, I probably will not be able to find one until Q4 2023.
Making it hammer fired was a good move by FN.
Gonna be honest.. I feel you were super LEGIT on this. You described your "relaxed" grip vs running it as different and it was super noticable. When you first started shooting I was like hell nah.. but 👍👍 even the 1 hand looks good. Good promo brotha! Feel FREE 😂😂
Would love to see a comparison between the S&W Shield Plus 3", the Canik MC9, & the Reflex. Looks like all 3 have good triggers. Throw in a ported Shield Plus (I have the 4" ported PC Shield Plus & love it). I also have the P365 & P365XL & like those to but does not have the accuracy or the low recoil of my 4" ported Shield Plus, most likely due to the excellent trigger of the Shield Plus.
I don’t have a 509 but have had a FNS-9 for years. It runs flawlessly. This would be an ideal CC for me.

Just bought a glock 26 gen 5 and now I gotta find one these fns 😅
It's same size, if not bigger.
@@antoniotula262 Glock is a smidge thicker and longer with lower capacity because they're stuck on using thicker plastic mags. A Glock 43 with a Shield Arms mag is pretty competitive with this but those mags can be a little hit and miss, the P365 and Hellcat are what this gun stacks up to.
@hornmonk3zit You said it best, a smidge. So many guns occupy the same space, and it's a great time to have so many good quality choices. I had a G27, but too heavy/bulky for shorts & t-shirt EDC. LCP Max is about the most appealing I see & going to shoot one in a week.

Nice but I’ll stick with the hellcat pro 😎
Man if this had an external hammer and decocker, it’d be an instant buy for me.
It's interesting that the FN Reflex apparently has an internal hammer, that new trigger ought to be promising as well ! I've got the 509C Tactical, and love everything about it, except the trigger isn't up to the likes of Walther PDP, or the Sig P365 flat faced triggers. But I'm really amped about the Reflex. A good review by "Honest Outlaw", "Mrgunsandgear", or GB Guns will be convincing !
I hear ya. About seven years, or so ago (I think) FN announced that they were going to be bringing a small compact with that great external hammer to market soon. And then after just a month or so, the page about it disappeared off their website. I called them and they said it wasn't going to be made. I was very disappointed. I loved only hammer fired guns back then, and was hesitant about striker fired guns.
Totally agree
A handgun in that size in DA SA would be amazing. I guess I'll email Sig and tell them to make that in the Sig P365xl, I should get a free one for that 😂

Definitely looks promising, but I'm waiting for Walther to release a gun in this size range. I may die waiting though.
I really hope walther does. I love their ergonomics and have loved my PDP. If they made a micro version of that I'd buy it instantly lol
@@typeofguyto Same here. I regret selling 2 guns. A USP 45 and my little Walther PPQ SC.
But the $64 question remains unanswered: how does it compare to the reigning king of this micro 9 category, the Sig P365X, which holds 14+1 in it's smaller configuration with the Magguts +2 kit. I see that it has a standard forward rail (in comparison to the Sig proprietary rail), which is great, but for pocket carry beyond 11+1, it appears larger.
I think the ‘micro’ market is leaning towards a hybrid scenario of a micro pistol, that also has the option of the ‘feel’ of subcompact with the larger grip using the larger magazine. A best of both worlds approach…
Another excellent review, another gun that I need to buy

It's a concealed carry gun, you're not supposed to need any of the controls other than the trigger and that's already ambidextrous. My thumb rides the slide release on my Hellcat when I shoot it and I don't care because I'm not planning on speed reloading it ever, hell I wish it had a heel mag release too so I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally dropping my mag. You wouldn't keep this in the nightstand with a couple spare mags, you'd leave it in a holster and clip it on your belt when you walk out the door every morning.
@@hornmonk3zit so what's the argument against left handed preference? I dont get it
@EDM XERO Gives you more parts you don't need that can fail when you only have ten rounds and no backup when you're cornered in a dark alley.
