    Hello! I want to buy a motorcycle to be used for walks through the forest and climbs, descents but I want to have power under me. I thought about 250-300 in 2t over the year 2015! Would it be good on carburetion or injection? And which model would be more suitable and reliable?

      This is a good question! the 250 is more friendly far as power in the injection version. if you getting a carburetor version will be more powerful and more reliable.for carburetor bike recommend the smart carb to make your life easier and you don't have to do jetting on if you change elevation.The older KTMs are really good. I think between 2015 and 2018 KTM 250XC would be a good choice with the smart carb mods plus those bikes are lighter then the injection versions

    What do you think of the new spring forks and the rear shock setting?

    • @roberturmosi-dirtbike-atv
      @roberturmosi-dirtbike-atv  Před rokem

      The shocks are way better than previous models have! I have a yz which I plan to test it back to back but I think just as good or better than KYB stock shocks. the tool free adjustments comes really handy. I softened my front and rear one click it was to hard the way was set up from factory. On my 22 I had to harden it up front and rear a lot...

      You will have to rev that bike more with the 14/48 stock external gearing.

      @@nightrider4370 The gearing is really silly on this bike. I need to change that

    Hello Földi. You say the brakes are not the best. That can vary from bike to bike. I think the KTM brakes are pretty good. This bike you've bought is designed for hard enduro, tough terrain, steep climbs. For deep sand where you're going to be using it, 4-stroke is much better. Whatever. I see you were up in TN. I'm up north a lot. If you're interested in tough challenges, the kind of roads your bike is designed for. If you're bored of sand, looking for something real, and if you like a challenge, and really tough terrain, on trails that aren't on the map, and in many cases secret, then come on out, we'll make it a tough day.

      Hello!! The brakes are KTM standard brakes which is good, but the Yamaha brake is better. I ride in TN I have a video up on my Chanel and I plan to go up soon we may can ride together. I had a 4 stroke Factory KTM but I like the two stroke sound way better so I try to bring a power up a bit on my two strokes to be stable on the sand. Thanks for your input

    I noticed those bikes have way too much power for your riding level - you might love the bikes and love the feel of the power, but way before you looped it I was like, "this is way too much bike for him" and a few minutes later, pow! you were on the ground. Also, you would need to have much more speed at a controlled level to help compare those bikes for a useful video. Going that slow just doesn't provide any real feedback on how they handle, etc.. Sure appreciate the vid and hope pure okay.
