That being said some people in the virtual pinball community have scripted the game rules into some of the tables you are requesting, meaning that tables like Iron Maiden by Stern and Godzilla do exist as "tribute tables" but they do not play 100% the same as the original mechanical machine. Downloading and applying Visual Pinball table ROMs (VPX ROMs) is not illegal for tables that no longer have any copyright or licensing restrictions either. As you well know, many of the companies that used to make pinball machines are no longer in business and not all the rights have been purchased or transferred to new ownership, so in other words it depends on the table. For those tables tables that have new licensing/copyright ownership it is not illegal to install the ROMs if you own the original mechanical table. If not then it is illegal. You can also legally purchase commercial Zen Studios Pinball FX tables (over 100 available) that you can install in cabinet mode format on our ULTRA VP, but that is for in home use only, no commercial use permitted. Those tables are fully licensed. Please realize that we at RecRoomWorld / VPCabs do not sell the tables (ROMs) with our ULTRA VP directly for that reason, we only offer the hardware. To add tables you will have to choices upon ordering the ULTRA VP. You first choice is to download and install Visual Pinball, Pinball FX, Zaccaria Pinball and/or Future Pinball to the Windows operating system we include yourself and then pull in tables from the internet and configure a menu system yourself. That is the traditional "hobbyist" approach that the community likes to see. The second choice is to reach out to the third party who have taken it upon themselves to create a plug-and-play compatible SSD hard drive for the ULTRA VP which currently features about 1,400 tables and a 1900 music video Jukebox. That is by invitation only for people who have ordered the ULTRA VP hardware and is not compatible with any other VPin hardware. If you choose this second route you will be exposing yourself to illegal ROMs. Based on our experience these ROMs are tolerated by the rights holders as long as the Virtual Pinball community does not release tables that are currently being sold as brand new mechanical pinball machines. I hope this clarifies whether or not selling this machine is legal/illegal. There is nothing illegal about selling the ULTRA VP hardware at all ;)
