Not meant to replace mechanical units... Virtual Pinball compliments it. In fact, nobody has room to own all mechanical units ever made but with Virtual Pinball you can. Not to mention the mechanical maintenance headaches it avoids. There are things you can do with Digital Pinball you simply cannot achieve with mechanical.

Hi Alexander... yes, we used to make smaller mid size units but over the years we have steadily improved the touch and feel of our units to make them as realistic as possible compared to a mechanical pinball machine. We found that it requires a full size cabinet that gives us the required spatial separation for the DOF force feedback and SSF surround sound devices. Anything smaller just cannot achieve the same gaming sensation which is why we stopped making them. Our ULTRA VP now represents the closest you will get to the correct form factor and gaming experience of a mechanical counterpart but with the entire history of pinball in a single unit 😃 That being said, we do have our upright VPin product, our Vertigo NXT, that features the exact same software as our ULTRA VP, and also has full force feedback, but geared towards people with extreme space restrictions (see www.virtualpinball.com/VertigoNXT.html )

Virtual pinball is geared towards people who do not have the room for many mechanical single unit machines but want to play the entire history of pinball on a single unit!. Not everybody has the money nor the space to afford numerous mechanical pinball machines, and more so they do not want the headaches associated with mechanical pinball machine maintenance. Here you go... as requested, I took pictures showing the FPS frame rate when running Visual Pinball tables (see pictures link at the end). FYI... the RTX 3060 should have no issue actually getting closer to 250-300 FPS but with our 120hz monitor and V-sync turned on it maxes it out at the desired 120 FPS frame rate. This is done on purpose to provide consistent buttery smooth Visual Pinball gameplay (even with 13 silverballs showing up all at once in Multiball Mode on the Apollo 13 table). Hello Jenny... we do not have any plans on offering custom toppers other than our than the optional topper monitor we offer now. That would be a DIY project if you want something different. The topper monitor we offer is built to last with an industrial metal enclosure and 12.3" monitor.

If I can find it...there is a video out there with toppers for a Labyrinth table that are cool. I think it was on MythBusters or at least a CZcams video with the host on it. Just saying. The characters from the movie were moving as toppers

Instead it has over 1500 visual pinball tables that utilize the same ROMs (firmware) as the original mechanical units and play and feel like the original mechanical pinball machine equivalent, thanks to a bunch of mechanical devices like the many solenoids, gear motor, shaker motor, knocker, SSF 7.1 surround sound, etc ...

It’s like having sex with a woman versus put a helmet in the head to stimulate the brain to fell something similar! That doesn’t mean these virtual games don’t have their place or consumers…but it isn’t real pinball

Hi Jason... virtual pinball machines like our ULTRA VP can display thousands of different playfields. The hobbyist community utilizes the Visual Pinball Emulator to create any and all tables and often re-create existing tables. As far as I know Oktoberfest has not been reproduced as a visual pinball table yet but it wouldn't surprise me if somebody is going to release that table soon. The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity with Visual Pinball, which is why people love owning a Virtual Pinball Machine where they can experience playing original titles in a single unit but without the mechanical maintenance headache and cost of owning several machines.
