There is no medium and large. Lectric is offering the step-through and high-step in just one size. I enjoyed the video and the Rad comparison. thanks.
You are right, we were (sadly) mistaken. Unfortunately, there is only one size of frame, but it does come, just as you said, a step through and a high step. Which means that it does unfortunately have a fairly short distance between the seat and handlebars as well as the front tire and the pedals on both bikes.
@@E-BikeHub while the wheel base is nearly identical, the step thru crank is about two inches closer to the front wheel than the step over. so you do get more pedal to fender clearance on the step over (3.5" vs 1.5").
It saves money to only make one size
good commercial. needs more review
Thanks for the feedback we will be doing some more in-depth riding and reviewing soon
@@E-BikeHub also, a comparison of battery life would be good. 14ah makes a lot of people worried. how many non flat trail laps can you do before it's dead vs similarly priced bikes?
how much damage does it take doing actual mtb trails vs competition or how fast can you do the trail vs competition.
stuff to make the front fork show why it's a big deal vs much cheaper ones. show why the emtb rating matters. or should we be better off considering these things marketing dressing that throws money at a problem that doesn't exist vs things we are compromising on like battery size and frame stiffness and geometry
This is one of the only videos on CZcams showing the actual production model out on a legit mountain biking trail. I’m glad they made this.
We love hearing these, we will use them to make some content to see how well (or not) they perform. Which bikes do you consider the competition to the XPeak? wed love to know so that we can maybe provide some XPeak vs..... content? We would consider bikes like the Aventon Aventure 2.0, Radrover 6+ Himiway Zebra, and Mokwheel Basalt a few of the many in this category. @@cellsafemode
We will do some more "torture" tests to see how much it can really handle@@ryankenkel3838 . Keep in mind that the bike is really not intended for what we are riding here but, we have to say it was pretty capable.
I hiked those trails a couple of summers ago. Loved it out there. Saw a ton of mtn bikers at the time.
What about the wobble and, potentially, hitting the front tire w/ your foot on sharp turns?
We only felt a wobble on the step thru model when standing up over the handle bars. The biggest drawback of the bike is definitely the lack of foot clearance between the front wheel and your feet. We will be doing a video of the high step soon and it is said to have more clearance here.
I test-drove it and liked the bike, but did hit my foot.@@E-BikeHub
The bike feels really small and kind of unstable when riding it. I do not feel safe on mine.
Great review!! But how will it stand up a fat man!
Come by the shop and test one out!
@E-BikeHub I took Rayon up on the invite to test ride the XPeak!! I was very impressed with the ride of the bike!!! It had good torque an it got up to speed pretty quick In my opinion. I'm a big guy!
Wow, I feel like I need to do the same! Be there soon!
the step thru has a really bad wobble. very unhappy with this bike. i wanted to love this bike but that wobble scares the crap outta me .
