    The Lectric XPeak is an all terrain fat tire ebike with the new Stealth M24 technology to keep the drive train 400% quieter than previous Lectric Ebikes. The RST Renegade suspension fork is included on the Lectric XPeak which makes the ride smooth.

    This is actually a really good value right now, with the spare battery and all the accessories, for $1400. That's a really quiet e-bike. Lectric is definitely improving their standards, I'm glad to see so many companies continue to drastically improve products with each year. The standard is rising.

      @KEVS6975 Před 28 dny

      What are u a spokesperson for them

    • @lewisedwardson7776
      @lewisedwardson7776 Před 28 dny

      @@KEVS6975 No, just giving my opinion. There are dozens of e-bikes I'd place above any Lectric bike, if I was going to shill for anybody it wouldn't be them.
      But Lectric keeps up with trends, they try to implement what customers will expect from their e-bikes. Lectric bikes are going to be similar to the kind of affordable mid-performance you can expect to see from tons of other brands. They're not innovating, pushing into new territory, or even riding at the front of the wave, but they're definitely in that wave, so when you start seeing bikes like this from companies like Lectric, it's safe to say that you can start expecting this much bike from all the other manufacturers. Once all the companies like Lectric are competing at that level of bike, it starts becoming available at much lower prices, and the floor for bare minimum performance expected from an e-bike, rises.
      When I say I'm glad to see Lectric making a bike this good, it's not because I think Lectric makes the best bikes. It's because I know they don't. I know they're mid. So when they're doing it, everybody's going to be doing it.
      2022, most e-bikes were still under 750W, and most 750W e-bikes didn't even get over 1 kW Peak, and most of them didn't even have enough power to get 28 mph, many of them peaking at 23-25 mph and dropping low enough that you couldn't even pedal them back up to 28 mph on your last two bars. Most of them had 160mm disc rotors, even the 750W cargo e-bikes that typically had 1100-1400W Peak. Most of the e-bikes on the market in the past had "e-bike style" frames, whereas a lot of us want e-bikes that still look and feel primarily like a bike.
      So it's nice to be seeing that the standard e-bike in 2024 is looking like an MTB, BMX, or Commuter style e-bike with a 750W or better rated motor with 1200-1600W Peak, enough power to achieve and maintain 28 mph even as the battery drops down to 2 bars, making it viable on more roads around US cities. And more have 180mm or 203mm disc rotors now. I'm seeing more 24 and 26 inch tires instead of 20-inch tires. I'm seeing more suspension, often full suspension. I'm seeing integrated tail lights. I'm seeing more regular bikes that are not cargo bikes, rated for 300, 330, or 440 lbs instead of 264 lbs. Instead of seeing so many bikes with 10-13 Ah batteries touted as large, I'm seeing 12.8 and 14.4 being the small batteries and 18-20 Ah is normal, over 1 kWh batteries are quite common on any e-bike with even slightly above average capacity. Lots of e-bikes are coming with a free spare battery, instead of demanding $600-1000 for one.
      The rising baseline means everyone aspiring to be notable has to aim higher to stand out.

    I ordered one last November and it arrived in late January. My 5th bike, but first E-Bike. I love it, but I am still getting use to how heavy it is. I regularly ride back and forth to work (28 miles round) with more than half battery capacity remaining. I am a short big guy, but ride CAT 2 mainly PED 3 (as I want some exercise). I have just started riding the local off road trails and having a blast. The only Issue I have had are the snake-eyed looks from bike purists --hey I'm get out at least.

      Seems like the bike is not balanced well . Also in trying to save money the front tire is to close to the pedals resulting in ones foot hitting the tire when turning sharper turns . Both versions have the shaking issue . Think not? Try putting any kind of a load on the rear rack . Revibikes Prowler is not available 😢
    From what ive seen my hiboy p6 still better for the price
    put hydraulic brakes and keep it clean i still do 30 mph trottle only and 35 pedaling.
    For something faster i ll have to pay twice the price
    What i noticed is most bikes go fast but brakes are not doing well after a while and become very dangerous .
    28 mph is more than good ,range is fine , what i would like is a bike that have insane acceleration but also keep it as the battery get lower .
    Personally im not as tall as you i like the seat to be as near the rear wheel as it can be, lowrider hands high and mostly not pedaling 😅

      Be happy that you bought a hardtail. Cheap rear suspensions wear out and start to creak. Put a Suntour NCX suspension seatpost in it and it is half the way to a fully while beeing super easy to maintain. This rear suspension trend in the US will get a real problem for the costumers, as all of these chinese companies give a fck once you paid the bike. So keep it simple and you won't get into trouble.

      @@Benjamin_Jehne My first ebike was a hard tail. It was such a pain to ride, I had to install a suspension seatpost (a kinekt 2.1 back in the day). The ebikes i've bought since then have had rear suspension - which I've preferred. One thing to watch out for are low end "moped" style full suspension ebikes where the rear suspension is so stiff with limited travel as to be nearly useless.

      As cheap as the cells cost its time to get rid of the 48v 10ah packs . 18650 cells no less . These are dirt cheap . By now 21700 cells 48v20ah should be minimum . Right now e-cells and wired are setting the bar with 60v35ah for roughly $2500 total . E-cells with 60v20ah for under $2000 . So even with some fancy gear shifter the lectric one with the super tiny 48v10ah 18650 cells is just plain silly . $2000 with a 48v10ah battery is just odd . What good does some fancy shifter do when you have no range .. so while i do like Lectric as i do own there 3.0 they are making some odd decisions lately in my opinion .

      The front tire is also to close to the pedal resulting in your foot hitting the tire when turning certain angles . That and the super cheap (18650) 48v10ah battery packs set this bike as one to skip . They started off great but to me have been sidetracked in the wring direction lately . And they advertise there e-bikes as max 28mph but that is tough to get to and impossible to maintain . Now i am interested in seeing the upcoming (non paid) reviews of the X-press and i will watch for the past issues that i look for in an e-bike . ...and is not a street legal ebike in any state. Get in an accident and you will also be sued as a bonus. Have fun!

    Love your reviews but read the manual. The bike unlocks to class 3 and top speed is way over 20mph. Probably around 28. So zero to 20 won't start cutting the power at 18.

      Rode mine 13 miles yesterday with zero issues even at 28mph on broken and smooth pavement. I really think it's more of a step through problem than anything and an easily solved one at that.

      They both do it . Anyone showing videos of it all wobble to some extent . The step over becomes bad when you put anything on the rear rack . It’s just not balanced well and the front tire is to close to the pedals . Needed to be angled out farther . Likely done to shave a couple dollars in the extra size frame

    ITS MIND NUMBING THESE BIKE MAKERS KEEP FUKING PUTTING THE BATTERY IN THE LOWER PORTION OF THE FRAME, SO GRAVITY JUST WORKS AGAINST YOU W/ SOME POTENTIAL PRBOLEMS. THEY CAN EASILY PUT BATTERY IN THE TOP PORTION OF THE FRAME LIKE HiBOY DOES.

      @freddurst4420, SIR, I agree with you. A mind is numbed by HiBoy, when ... that mind believes it should state opinions as facts in support of bad, less than ideal battery positioning. sir more 420 and less wind! my say said, Lectric could do more with batteries for real people real world range wants needs, mounting and pre-wiring of a 2nd battery. Say positioning like on the Expedition. Perfect! peace

    I honestly don't see the point of coming out with this bike in 2024. They've been making bikes long enough that they should do something different. Why would I buy this when theres 1000s that are exactly the same and 1000s that are much better? I honestly dont understand whos buying all these bikes? Its all rehashed trash

    Amazon has bikes with the same abilities and quality for $1,125 including shipping and tax. Don't pay 2K!

    • @WCoast_
      @WCoast_ Před měsícem +5

      It's not 2K. t won't sell at that price, bet it never will be. You get two batteries with this bike. Great customer support. This bike is quiet, unknown with an Amazon bike.

    • @Haaxler
      @Haaxler Před měsícem

      The batteries on cheap Amazon bikes won’t last nearly as long as a name brand. 100% worth just buying name brand for the support, better components and build quality, and being able to find replacement parts when the time comes. Coming from experience lol.

  • @pjmcintosh6147
    @pjmcintosh6147 Před měsícem +1

    This is not good value
    The wired freedom for a similar price gives you a more powerful motor,dual batteries,upgraded compents, etc
    Worthless bike

    • @jimjr9143
      @jimjr9143 Před měsícem

      Right now , wired freedom is setting the bar on value vs your $ . I mentioned before on lectric posts that they need to upgrade the battery capacity and get rid of the 10ah version altogether . The cells that are in these packs are very cheap in cost .(very) so lectric has a $2000 ebike with (you guessed it) a tiny 48v 10ah battery pack which will not get you very far at all. I know these cells are very low cost , wired just showed that with a rather large battery capacity with there dual battery set up . 60v no less . With all the works (203mm rotors, 4 piston brakes, 60v 35ah total capacity , etc, etc.
