The fenced in area under the zip line is to keep the gators out from being directly under when you start getting close to the surface of the lagoon. That's so you won't be the star of your own gator jumparoo show. Great video. I love gatorland. I'm from Florida (Orlando), and I've been going there since the 60s. When I first started going there, it was donation only after you finished walking around the attraction.
I remember going there when I was 11 during our Disney Vacation.
Same
Dude same!
HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAS NOOB FART
Me too
Thank you so much for this video!! 38 years ago, my daughter learned to walk here!! I really must go here again! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
My parents took me and my sister to Disney World in 1984. We hit this place before we left for the trip back home to Texas. Obviously the place has expanded and evolved in the past 36 years. Very cool place that left a lasting impression even back then.
The big alligator on the island was actually a crocodile. I'm pretty sure the little one in tank by itslf was also a crocodile.
there's another crocodile hidden among alligators at 17:09, an American crocodile by the looks of it
Went there in 1996 for a family vacation. Glad to see that entrance is still there!
Went here in 2013. Was pretty cool. Probably will never be there again so it’s nice to see it on CZcams
There's more here than I remember, but that was back in '87. I remember that gator was on the menu for the first time back then... and my parents wouldn't let me have gator for lunch. When my kids are a little older, I'd like to take them here. I have better memories from Gatorland than from Disney World.
"YEEHAW! You've reached Gatorland, America's premier gator extravaganza. You've seen em on TV, now come see em live, Gatorland. You're gonna love this park. For Spanish, press two."
Dominic B I don't know how to speak Spanish but you're gonna love this park!

Great to see this place again. I visited there in 1999. Is a great place to visit.
Love the zip wires.
I’m from la and I go every year . This place is sooooooo awesome.
Great Horned Owl is the biggest owl in the Raptor's Birds of Prey from North & South America because nicknamed Tiger of the sky thanks to its beak & talons & reminds me of Hoots The Owl from Sesame Street who is also a Great Horned Owl.
Fun fact: Gators can climb fences.
went there in 1998.had a great time.heard they had a big fire there, but glad to see it hasnt changed
"Yup, that's a terrifying looking animal. Yup, looks like pure evil to me" lol.
that postcard looks super cool!
I’ve been here it’s amazing!
Nile Crocodile is the 2nd biggest crocodilian from Madagascar & Africa's Nile River.
I’m from la and I go once a year. Very good times
I wonder if Louis will be there next time I go? He's my favorite gator and plays the trumpet very well.
Brian Draney
I actually got that reference
I miss Gatorland so much I want to go back there
What's awesome place!!
6:00 I wondered about that too till this part. See how close that guy gets to the water by the time they reach the fenced off area? An alligator can jump really high straight up out of the water, and could easily snag someone's foot or leg. Its a precaution cause otherwise there would be alligators jumping for yummy tourists. Since even 10+ foot alligators can jump out of the water all the way to their back legs if they try hard enough and really want something.
The gators would have no reason to put so much effort into getting food since they are fed regularly.
Have been visiting my brother in Kissimmee the last three years, in mid Feb. Not much for touristy type stuff, but we went in Feb 2018, and it was a trip going through there. Loved it !!Went back this year, just as good, saw the "jumping show" called Jumparoo both years, and toured much of the park. Can't recommend it highly enough for a half day trip. Admission was $ 30.00 in 2018, but this year, they asked a couple of questions, one was if I was over 55 (yes) and admission was $ 13.30. Believe Veterans get free admission.
Bobcat is in the cat family that has spots for camouflage, pointy ears to listen, & like lynx known as a short tail.
I went there years ago. It's changed a great deal. When I went you could buy frozen hot dog sausages to feed to the alligators.
Seeing a gator beg for a frozen sausage is something that will stay with me.
I remember going there once back in 1988.
To help animals The Legend show you in his CZcams channel for future generations at Gatorland located in Orlando, Florida is donate to Wildlife Conservation Society at 2300 Southern Blvd in Bronx, NY 10460 against poachers. Give The Legend a big round of applause explaining & pointing out.
I remember my father taking me there in 1991.
1:32 that’s no gator that’s a whole damn Nile crocodile
to the left is another crocodile, an American crocodile I think (not sure, could be a Nile)
this is epic
I remember coming here when I was in Elementary school
I want that postcard!!!
Its ok 🌸🌸🌸Dont worry , have a nice day!!
I plan to visit.
Who’s here from Drew Gooden?
I went there on a school Field Trip in the 1970's.
Great video
They have that cage at the zipline because if the gators were allowed to go there they could jump and eat you. So it is for precaution
Noah Shillings lets go pens (I just saw ur profile pic)
The Sloth Squad penguins suck! Go Rangers!
Hey- I want that postcard! And I want molly to sign it!
Emus are the 2nd biggest birds all the way from Australia.
I’ll be going next weekend can’t wait
Did you go
@@gferno8673 we didn’t go there we went sea world instead. It was fun
@@universemeta7817 jesus i didn't think you would comment
I love this place. Just don't understand how they serve gator at the food stand?
so beautiful
Somehow it seems like combining alcohol and alligators is a bad idea. I'm shocked there's never been a drunk guy who hopped the fence into the lake.
I thought the same exact thing while watching this!
My parents are friends with the owners and one guy did try to jump in the lagoon but one of the staff members grabbed him before he could do it but other than that there hasn't been any other "accidents"
Personally I think alcohol does NOT belong in zoos, aquariums, theme parks, or any other place that children go to. My hometown zoo for example has a barrier to their hippo area that is 4 ft tall and is metal bars if they served that stuff betcha nickel someone would fall right in to their unfiltered water that is NEVER clean.
@@TheRandomZooVisitor make your own zoo without booze. That’s a fun idea.
I went to that That exact gator land a month ago
I'm going to go there for a school field trip
Excellent detailed video
hey i want that postcard!
I love gators
Me too. Back story is American Alligator from Southeastern North America is a Least Concern species & Chinese Alligator is from Asia's China is endangered.
you should go to wild life world in phoenix Arizona
only in Orlando Florida.
They don't speak Spanish but you're gonna love this park.
that snake said "henlo"
You should never go to the zip line
I like that post card I might have missed one January 15th they'll be another one though. No address to you can't do it though. Or did I out that in when I signed up. Other then that anyways.
How do they do the maintenance without getting eaten by gators
COCO JAMAICAN YARDIE GIRL island girl ikr lol
That’s what Savannah and Mike are for😂 they are the best at what they do.
Because domestic and tame alligators don’t have any threats to them in captivity, so they’re not motivated to attack anyone.
I live in Florida Gators are everywhere not just in Gatorland in Gatorland is the best way to learn about the Gators anyways while you're here because I'm going to tell you something there's things that pop up right out of the water whatever Lake of retention Pond you're at Grandview and wrestle you underwater until you dead
I’ve been there
the white bird, did you see it? just laying there?
Raccoons are from North America that can be found also in cities & nocturnal for moving at night.
This is Orlando ,Florida, North America , they are all over the places !!
Thanks for correcting me Hildiana Bofill, I must have been excited.
Cuban Crocodile is a crocodile from a country in South America known as Cuba.
Josephson Ognita Cuba is in the Caribbean numbnuts
how would it be considered a theme park if it doesnt have rides? Wouldnt it be considered a zoo/zoological park?
+girlstorm09 there is a zipline, train and kids splash area but more of a zoo then a theme park
Sea world should take notes
American Alligators are crocodilians from Southeast North America.
Hi good video
I love your videos I've been a fan for about 3 months to 4 months now and I would definitely love that postcard if you can find it in your heart to pick me I do live out in the Navajo Nation again thank you for the content that you put on the Internet it's very educational it's very intuitive and I love it thank you so much have a good day
“Ah ou we’re gonna move on now oKaY”
That's Lyle the Nile Crocodile lol
Is it true they feed the deer to the gators at the late night, adult only, show?
I don’t think so
My mind keeps visualizing what it would look like if that fence WASN'T around the zip line. The gators would know the sound and if they aren't there already would start swimming to the area as soon as they heard it. Those that are already there would have first dibs if they decided to attempt to jump for the person zip-lining. I just picture someone starting down the zip line, to their horror as they slide down they see gators start swimming DIRECTLY BELOW THE LINE, then they realize that there's ALREADY gators below the wire, and then they get to watch a few gators jump up, but unable to do much more than raise their mouths closer, which would be terrifying enough. Meanwhile EVERYONE is getting footage of it on their phones, even those that are next in line. I don't usualy use phrases like "insurance nightmare" and "place your bets, folks" in the same sentence, but yeah.
Went there a lot in the 1970s. Just gators then. Sure has grown eh.
that is a baby cute crocodile, the one the guy is handling. I mean small.
Albino American Alligators are rare.
Just hope them wood in good condition that y'all walking on
I think that gate was there because how low you are at that point
Does most of the park allow for open views of the animals, with overlooks, etc...? or are there are alot of fenced areas, which would make photography a pain?
Half and half I think
I heard about this Gatorland park from Gabriel Iglesias.
you sound like kermit the frog!!!!! :)
This place seems cool except the “wrestle a gator” thing is really messed up. Reconsidering my trip there because of it.
You don’t wrestle anything. You just sit on a gator who probably cares less. Honey, if you want to bitch find something else to bitch about. Clearly you don’t know this subject well at all.
On my iPad I searched how much to go to gatorland and it says more than 9,000 and Disney world ticket is more than 2,000 and Disneyland ticket is almost more than Disney world from where I live and why is gatorland so expensive than Disney it just about alligators I still wanna go there!
Gator land is 29.99 for adults, children are 19.99, and seniors are 24.99
Florida residents get half priced tickets year round and veterans are always free. Florida residents can get in free as well during certain months.
The 9k pricing was probably travel costs and not ticket pricing. Either that or you researched wrong because I don’t see it being 9k to go to Gatorland unless you’re from out of the U.S then *maybe*.
1:33 thats a nile crocodile and 10:14 also a croc
That second one is a gator
@@jmegee1975 Nope thats another baby crocodile. Baby American Alligators would still have the juvenile orange-black coloration.
The white alligators are a special kind there are only 12 in the world
You're exactly right. They're leucistic, and have blue eyes. Whereas albinos lack pigmentation, which makes their eyes have the pink appearance.
and I'm kind of scared
That's a cougar
its cute
they have the bar for the zipline so the gators dont jump up and eat you for luch you dont want to have a jumparoo human zipline game
10:23 that is a dwarf crocodile for the information
Baby?
no dwarf crocodiles at Gatorland it's just a baby crocodile
I'd love to go to Gatorland but I live in England so it's a long journey.
DavidB2001 go to Australia it'll be closer. 🤣🤣🤣
Very unique?
Your American and you don’t know what cape Canaveral is ??🤦♂️🚀
They don't have 4 they have 7
If there ever is an earthquake you definitely dont want to be there
my brothers a hacker

Don't know why everyone, including the park itself, claims this is in "Orlando". Gatorland is technically in Kissimmee Florida, right next door to Orlando. If you head North right outside Gatorland, ya run right into nearby Orlando. ( I guess it's a world-wide tourist thing. )
It's in neither Orlando nor Kissimmee, it's in an unincorporated section of Orange County, near the border with Osceola County
@@porsche911sbs Yes, but it's a hell of a lot closer to Kissimmee than "Orlando".......I know, I've been there several times myself over the years, and even worked all over the entire region around Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Kissimmee, St Cloud, etc.
@@howabouthetruth2157 It is much closer to Kissimmee than it is to Orlando, true.
@@porsche911sbs What you originally stated is true as well, because that place HAS TO BE in an unincorporated area of a county, in order to be able to have all of those animals & land. But I must admit, I never paid any attention to the fact it's not actually located in Osceola county. Had you not responded with the good information you offered, I would've guessed it to be "in Osceola county" due to being so much closer to Kissimmee. So thank you! We learn something new every day.
i dont like that wrestling a gator thing at all. Whats peoples issue with seaworld if there fighting gators for entertainment?
Raccoons are only native to North America. They are literally the least exotic animal.
They’re not white they albino
