It bothers me a little bit how this park doesn't have an area themed to Easter. Wouldn't it be cool for kids to meet Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny in the exact same park? Plus, the theming possibilities would be endless. The space behind Good Gravy where Hyena Falls used to sit would be a good spot for that.

Great video! I used to work at Lake Winnie as a game operator. My kids are excited for their first visit next week. We watched this to get hyped!

I am a native of Michigan, but I have never been to Michigan’s Adventure. It seems to be a quaint park, but a nice one. I wouldn’t mind going. I have only been to the west side of the state only once. I will try to make it a point to get to this park one day. Thanks for the upload. Peace.

Rode this last fall. Almost hesitate to call it a mountain coaster, because its more like a 10 minute long mine train coaster with all it's theming and sprawling layout. And thats a good thing.

Eight minute ride... definitely get your monies worth. The gravity areas are kind of mediocre, though. Theming slightly makes up for it.

Wow that's a lot of bang for the buck if you can bear the ride.

I'll be in the area for the first time in August. Does anyone know of a resource for things to do/skip. Like mountain coasters, for example. I know there are many, but if I only want to do one, which is the one to do, etc.

I worked there in 2015. One of the special things they do for some employees is put a figurine of their hobbies and interested in the display. When I was there there was a parachutist you showed. After I left, I noticed the base jumper they added. While I couldn’t get friends there to confirm, I’d like to think that one was mine. 😊

That new cocktail stand looks cool. They added a new (blink and you'll miss it) bar between Acrophobia and Dahlonega Mine Train called "Along the Rails Tavern." It's on the back side of a building in a shaded area.

The only issue with the Solarium is it can get kind of hot/muggy in there if it's crowded. I actually like the loungers on the deck above the solarium/main pool (deck 12) as they tend to be low-kid-occupancy and catch a good breeze if you are trying to tan peacefully. The waitstaff do come up there with drinks although obviously with less frequency than in the main pool area. Down side is you have to go down a level to get a dip in the pool but there are always plenty of them open. Pro tip for Grand Suite and above -- the Suite Lounge has the most amazing coffee machine! It can make espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, or Americano -- or you can make a macchiato and add an additional espresso shot or whatever you dream up. It has a steamer and a frother on it. It's open for use even when the lounge is not "open" as long as you have your card to open the door. We did not discover this until day 3, but made frequent use of it after that.🙂 Suite guests also get breakfast in Chops -- the time varies depending on at sea/in port but it's either a 60 or 90 minute window including on disembarkation morning. Nothing special about the menu, but there's no line and the service is a bit elevated as you would imagine.

I loved the log flume ride when I was a kid of course that’s when it was in wildwood nj great ride glad to see they saved it and this park bought it

I’m excited to ride GA Surfer it opens since SFOG is my home park. Its color scheme is very reminiscent to Scream at SFMM
