Some genius decided to do away standardized reel sizing. It borders on impossible matching a reel to a rod in person but to look at travel rods and accurately match it with a reel that fits is killer. I want a four piece rod for a BG 4500 that I can spool with 20lb braid for throwing up to an oz. I would also like a rod to pair with a Shimano Saragosa 6000 with 30pd braid that is good for throwing 1/2oz to 1.5oz (maybe two once). I don’t think I can find either of this rods to match the reels too. Problem is none of the b&ts around here carry one or two travel rods at best. I’m planning on ordering a few rods on line and returning anything that’s not gonna work. PIA

I'm actually interested in just little the case! I use a 7" med/light 7pc spin/fly combo but it didn't come with a nice rod tube like that.
