Well Jason I will be honest when you showed us what you were using my initial thought was "Tackle Tart". Then you carried on filming including you almost falling in and so on you went with a lure (again I thought "Tackle Tart"). You then got your first pike and I thought not such a tackle tart after all. (It took me a lot of sessions to catch my first pike and I was fishing for Roach when a Pike grabbed my Roach and stayed on to be landed it was only 3lb but I was shaking having landed it.) That looks a lovely spot my nearest places are ruined by litter hence my hankering to give sea fishing a go. Well done on your first and P.B. Pike. Now the sad bit I lost my wife on Friday, she put up a great battle to overcome "heart failure" but in the end lost the battle. Am grieving and sorting a lot of stuff out at present and still have not got round to watching your previous download. I don't need sympathy death comes to us all, love the channel and keep up the good work.

Always a great video, top tip spin the swims that have been fished all day with the anglers bait fishing , as these swims will be full of small bait fish , so the kids can bait the swim up catch fish all afternoon, then when the swim goes dead its pike time make sure the spinning rods set up ready , plus there's big cod with your name on it at seafood beach, all the best.

N3 or4 spinners are the best to start pikeing and N2 or 3 for pearch

Great video and congratulations on your first pike. It won't be the last. Pike fishing sort of gets to you and you can't help going again and again and again and again and......Can I suggest that you get yourself some sub-surface lures (e.g. from Rapala) and also vary your retrieve...fast, fast, slow, slow, slow, fast, slow, fast, fast, fast, slow, etc., and also jerk the rod tip from left to right and right to left and up and down as you retrieve? Happy days. Cheers. Ken
