    • @salispadli
      @salispadli Před 4 lety +162

      @@fiendymisfits1734 Djinns are not spirits in Islamic terminology. Spirits are our unseen part that will leave this world when we die. In Islam we don't have this concept of semi-transparent spirits floating on earth to haunt people. But yeah, some of the djinns are evil and we call these evil djinns shaytan (satan) or demons, and some of them are believers and God fearing and we call them djinn believers. But just like us, their free will make it possible for them to do bad things. They are living beings with free will and responsibility just like us. They are not supernatural, they are just "superhuman" because they have powers humans don't posses. And this short film can be interpreted more specifically that the djinn (I don't know how many) is playing with the sheikh's mind out of his envy to the sheikh who is aware of what is halal and haram and will be rewarded greatly for every good deed but the sheikh abandons God and chose evil acts.
      "God blessed you with religion but you just don't deserve it."
      Also I interpret the situation happens in the sheikh's mind because we don't actually believe djinns have such power to teleport us to other dimension out of their free will. Except in some specific cases which God allows them to. If djinns could do so, why wouldn't it happen frequently, right?

      So as muslims, we believe that there are good demons and bad demons just like us humans. The sheikh here was probably a pious man at one point but got greedy and used God's word for material wealth. He tricks people into believing that their loved ones are possessed and need exorcism for what he charges money. Now he's being tested by the good demons or perhaps being tortured in afterlife. Because he's trapped in a maize and returns to the same place where he started even when he tries to escape, like a limbo. At the end when he tries to leave the house, he can see nothing but darkness signifying( or so I believe) that he has nothing ahead of him but darkess.

    Kkay so the problem of being a lil early is that ppl like me have to literally break our head and try to get it instead of just reading a smartie's comment
    So here's my understanding (it might just be wrong)-
    So i feel that our man is simply seeing a reflection of himself with Khaild. Clearly he loved his daughter greatly. And if u see, Khalid asks him " *_When_* did u lose faith?" , which makes me think that he lost faith in god after his daughter's death which caused him a great deal of distress and blamed it on his wife , and in the beginning we see him saying that he understands not having a wife around , so chances r that he killed her.
    The lady says , *What goes around comes around* yea , so she must be referring to his own sin comitted against *_his_* wife.
    The daughter also disappears so i think its safe to assume that she's no more.
    *Now taking the time on the clock into consideration* -
    At 10:30 on the clock , the lady and the daughter disapear and khalid is found dead , according to the Bible , verse 10:30 states *_"I and the father are one"_* , i think its pretty convincing that Khalid is the Imam's younger self because even if u look into the Quran , 10:30 states " *_Every soul will be put to trial for what they did previously and they will return to their master , the truth and lost from them is whatever they used to invent_* "
    .So the Imam might just be put into trial (hell maybe) for the sins comitted. We can also get that from the line she states. Basically karma is a bitch and it hits u back. He also opens the door to just find an empty space of darkness.
