Seiko Flightmaster SNA413 Easy Sapphire Mod

Decided to spruce up my flightmaster with blue AR sapphire. Total time is about 10min, pretty simple mod. One thing to note is the original crystal is single dome, I wasn't able to find. Most I saw are double dome. The single dome is what gives off the distortion at angles. So just something to note.

So, my bro-in-law gave me this beat-up watch years ago (~2014) and I've had it in my closet all these years. Never worn it. Bought myself half a dozen or so seikos & citizens (and a few others) since and never really thought about the "beat-up" watch in my closet. Turns out it's this exact watch in this video. Just need to replace the bezel, crystal, and of course the battery. Go figure!

@@RandoRaf Finally got my watch back from the shop (sna413). This crystal definitely augments its appeal in my opinion. My watch looks a lot better than the "beat-up" version of itself. I'm glad to have found this video - without it this watch would still be in the closet. Thanks.

My bezel is all scratched up. You have any good vids to watch to replace?

They are usually held with double side adhesive. hit with hair dryer for few min and should pry off.
