    People keep calling him a bust because hes not a big time scorer and has had injury problems. When healthy hes one of the best defensive bigs and a good rebounder. Nice to see him back out there again.

    I hate it when people say boguts a bad player just cos he's not the best scorer, they obviously don't understand what centres are meant to do, block, rebound and run picks and Bogut does all of those

    I dont care what shaq, charles, barkley, magic, or anyone says. Bogut is a top 5 center in this league. People always say hes injury prone, but what does that have to do with his production. He is a shot blocker, rebounder and occasional scorer. hes perfect for our team.

    • @dadocwarwick41
      @dadocwarwick41 Před 10 lety +15

      Certainly it's more on the side of accident prone that injury prone. One of the last good pure centers in the league

    • @Thr33xPointxShooter
      @Thr33xPointxShooter Před 10 lety +6

      His injuries are just really-really freak accidents, They're not chronic. So being injury prone is just brought by pure bad luck.

    • @NFLAdam86
      @NFLAdam86 Před 10 lety +4

      I like Bogut, but you're biased towards him (warrior fan) to say that he's a top 5 center. his play is contingent upon staying healthy, which is never good for any team. I guess what I'm trying to say is that he's a good compliment to the warriors, but I think saying he's a top 5 center is quite a stretch.

    Warriors definitely have the NBA's most balanced offense. I remember hearing about Monta (our only star player at the time) being traded for an injured prone center in Bogut (who sat out the entire season that year). But unlike many fans, I felt it was right because they were looking ahead in the long run and as of right now it seems to be paying off. Losing Monta was tough, but its not like they were winning with him. New management realized it wasn't working with him, so they knew they needed to take risks. And I gotta say its about damn time.

      they take the risk. They saw that they have probably the most lethal scorer and passer in the game, Curry, and a star to become in Thompson and Barnes, so take the risk on curry's ankle, try to bring bogut in and there we go, a very exciting team now.

  • @Shakester71

    Trading for Bogut helped turned this franchise around and its not even because of Bogut. The Warriors were never going to be a good team with Monta Ellis. In Ellis' mind, this was his team and he was going to shoot whenever he felt like it and not play any defense while doing it. Just by trading Ellis away, this was a better team, especially when they have Thompson waiting in the wings. Now, with Bogut getting healthy, he is looking great and contributing on a pretty consistent basis with his rebounding, defense and passing. He's not scoring, but with the guys on this team named Curry, Thompson, Barnes and Green...he doesn't have to for this team to win and he knows that.

    @rileyaitken70 Před 10 lety +5

    Shame he could't stay healthy. People forget that he was All NBA Second Team at one point in his career, and he's actually pretty good in the low post. The Warriors chances of a title run rest on him to remain healthy throughout the season. I know he had been working hard in the offseason to make sure that his body was ready for the grind of the full 82 games. Let's hope as NBA fans that he finally has a full, healthy season and is there come April, May and June.

    if bogut is healthy, i'd say hes easily a top 5 center in the league. people forget that when he was with milwaukee he was scoring a lot... hes a very good post player, both defensively and offensively. he can score with either hand in the post, has got some moves on the block and hes an anchor... the only thing is, the warriors dont need him to score alot, or play 35 minutes a game because they often go small with Lee at the 5. whichever way you look at it, bogut is a beast
