People keep calling him a bust because hes not a big time scorer and has had injury problems. When healthy hes one of the best defensive bigs and a good rebounder. Nice to see him back out there again.
Grace Lackey Lmfao that's ignoranta s hell. Doesn't matter if hes a former hobo, he still isnt a big numbers player thats why he doesnt get huge credit.
Lmao he won a ring this year!
+Cain Fletcher And he's an incredible passer too.
He's actually a bust, he makes Kevin Love look good
Angel Yala 1st of all, kevin love is good, second of all, he did fine on the warriors
first pick in the draft; one of the best defender in the league, great passer as a center. He is a winner, he deserve that ring, no doubt.
he deserves 5, and he's already got 1 ring and he's about to get another one.
+solidsnack1146 lol he got traded
I hate it when people say boguts a bad player just cos he's not the best scorer, they obviously don't understand what centres are meant to do, block, rebound and run picks and Bogut does all of those
Defensive Anchor - 2:14 Eraser - 2:31 Post Playmaker - 2:40
Looks like 2K gave Bogut his proper Signature Skills.
I dont care what shaq, charles, barkley, magic, or anyone says. Bogut is a top 5 center in this league. People always say hes injury prone, but what does that have to do with his production. He is a shot blocker, rebounder and occasional scorer. hes perfect for our team.
Certainly it's more on the side of accident prone that injury prone. One of the last good pure centers in the league
His injuries are just really-really freak accidents, They're not chronic. So being injury prone is just brought by pure bad luck.
I like Bogut, but you're biased towards him (warrior fan) to say that he's a top 5 center. his play is contingent upon staying healthy, which is never good for any team. I guess what I'm trying to say is that he's a good compliment to the warriors, but I think saying he's a top 5 center is quite a stretch.
NFLAdam86 in what world is a players play not contingent upon them staying healthy...besides that silly point his "health" status as mentioned above has only been tarred by freak injuries he's not an injury prone player
NFLAdam86 Every player's play is contingent upon staying healthy...
best 7 footer to ever pass a basketball, best defensive player in the NBA, most skilled big in the NBA. #gowarriors #dubnation #goaussie
Bryn Jones arvydas sabonis is the best 7 footers to pass a basketball (he's 7'3")
L
Bryn Jones Dirk is a better big
Bryn Jones I’m an Aussie and we are all very proud of him.
shows how much heart he has after overcoming those horrific injuries and still balling at a high level
Warriors definitely have the NBA's most balanced offense. I remember hearing about Monta (our only star player at the time) being traded for an injured prone center in Bogut (who sat out the entire season that year). But unlike many fans, I felt it was right because they were looking ahead in the long run and as of right now it seems to be paying off. Losing Monta was tough, but its not like they were winning with him. New management realized it wasn't working with him, so they knew they needed to take risks. And I gotta say its about damn time.
the warriors have to compete with an incredibly tough western conference. they would be #1 or #2 ranked team during the season in the east
they take the risk. They saw that they have probably the most lethal scorer and passer in the game, Curry, and a star to become in Thompson and Barnes, so take the risk on curry's ankle, try to bring bogut in and there we go, a very exciting team now.
SSSavio yes and they are well built to take that risk. but most lethal passer? lol besides that i agree
SSSavio don't forget about the addition of iggy!!
GunsGifts Galleries Lol, what about david lee? Hes a 20-10 monster or at least was, but nonetheless a key component on the warriors.
Andrew bogut is an aussie legend and a fucking great center
I love Andrew Bogut, While I hate their center right now ZaZa Pachulia
Dondon Canuday agree
Bogut is the best Warriors centre compared to Zaza, he's dirty ass player compared to Bogut
Its an exciting young developing team, and great to see Bogut there, getting in form again after such bad luck. He's a great player and wish him the best. Will be a good finals series this year for them.
love this guy he shows his will to play every game. i never knew he had such bad injuries
Those who didn't know his arm injury proves that they watch the NBA in 2010 and know nothing about the past. His injury made the headlines for weeks and months, just like Kevin Ware's injury.
We need him back for the warriors!
Trading for Bogut helped turned this franchise around and its not even because of Bogut. The Warriors were never going to be a good team with Monta Ellis. In Ellis' mind, this was his team and he was going to shoot whenever he felt like it and not play any defense while doing it. Just by trading Ellis away, this was a better team, especially when they have Thompson waiting in the wings. Now, with Bogut getting healthy, he is looking great and contributing on a pretty consistent basis with his rebounding, defense and passing. He's not scoring, but with the guys on this team named Curry, Thompson, Barnes and Green...he doesn't have to for this team to win and he knows that.
+Blake H Don't worry, you weren't the only. Tons of Warriors fans were pissed at Lacob for that trade.
Shame he could't stay healthy. People forget that he was All NBA Second Team at one point in his career, and he's actually pretty good in the low post. The Warriors chances of a title run rest on him to remain healthy throughout the season. I know he had been working hard in the offseason to make sure that his body was ready for the grind of the full 82 games. Let's hope as NBA fans that he finally has a full, healthy season and is there come April, May and June.
Bogut's a champion, Dallas got a steal. Golden State won't be the same without him. He was the most underrated player on that team, and he was ok with that. Can't wait to see the chip on his shoulder when he plays with Dallas this year.
if i was amare i wouldve tried to catch him
Not the superstar that you'd expect a #1 pick to be, but he has ended up in a great situation for a winning Warriors team.
+OrangeSodaKing If he hadn't taken those massive injuries it might be a different story.
Ants in My Eyes Johnson Yup. He is a good player, although I remember my Kentucky Wildcats showing him what's up back in 2005 ;)
if he didnt get injured he would have been crazy good. he got rookie of the year was looking like a beast the while dunking amire pushed him in the back and from there his career went down from there. he is still a great player very underated
you have made me proud yes im young and small but i look up to you Andrew and i want to be like you please read this message.
soccerbr0rocks Give him some credit, cmon. Who doesn't know what CZcams is
I doubt he reads NBA CZcams comments
If Bogut stays healthy, he can be as good as Dwight (My opinion)
You made Australia proud, Andrew.
Not really. Most Australians don't care about basketball. They like Aussie football and cricket, mostly. Some tennis.
@Allen Iverson The Answer Oh yeah?! Right now, as I speak, I have a nurse forcing a nasal swab into my brain. I think I know what I'm talking about.
@Allen Iverson The Answer I don't know, but if you lived in the states, then you'd know one thing that you would care about, they ain't letting him play. If the blue states don't allow it, the red states can't intercept it. Man, it's all politics.
STRAYYYYYAAAAAAA CCCUUUUUUUNNNNNTTTT!
*****
no he's not
mitchb2003 Pretty much..
***** He is always Aussie mate
Top 5 Defender in the NBA right now, even in 25 mins a game.
I love the fact that Bogut make a good comeback with the warriors, but god damn is David Lee the most underrated player in the league, he performs exceptionally well every game and you've never even heard a GSW fan say "David lee is good" or "Did you see david lee last night"
I agree. Also when I saw him play in NY, I always found him a great player. As a Spurs fan I was always hoping he would wear the black and silver after NY. Glad to see he has found a good team!
david lee is actually overrated, look at his defense.....
hyper123100 that could actually be correct. when I think of his toughness and spirit, hard work, I do always think of his offense. Good point! I will look for his defense next time!
Absolute tank
Would love to see Warriors vs Pacers finals
if bogut is healthy, i'd say hes easily a top 5 center in the league. people forget that when he was with milwaukee he was scoring a lot... hes a very good post player, both defensively and offensively. he can score with either hand in the post, has got some moves on the block and hes an anchor... the only thing is, the warriors dont need him to score alot, or play 35 minutes a game because they often go small with Lee at the 5. whichever way you look at it, bogut is a beast
Just a truly amazing video.
Curry and bogut went through a lot together in the Warriors the were like cut brothers they always cut in for a pass
Might have opened the nba for Australian player. That cannot be denied. Respect.
love warriors!!!
I can't believe bogut left the warriors here in 2016 I consider him as a legend since he was in the Bucks since 2005 although it seems he went through a lot of stuff in the nba
I no i want him back it wont b the same without him
what a good comeback story! Good for you Bogut you just gained a fan!
That dunk of McGee was DOPE!
Sretno mu bilo i puno zdravlja
imagine if he didnt have that arm injury. him and jennnings were clicking so good in the bucks, shame it got wasted
STRAYA
They actually showed the injury Lmao they even slowed it up
Bogut is a damn starting center with his defensive presence when he is healthy. Whenever that will be the case...
Andrew went to my school when he was a kid. Thomas Mitchell primary school
Excited to watch Bogut
Such an unlucky guy, wish him all the best, you've made us Aussies proud Andrew
Aussie Aussie Aussie!!
THE BOGEY MAN!
Bogut reppin Straya
he fell so fucking hard
The toughest center of GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS OF ALL TIME
0:19 thats nasty 😨
So sad that he’s retiring😢
We need Andrew
wow people on the internet are getting annoying. why do you care where the player was born? just watch the damn game.
Damn look how much better Draymond is than David Lee now. To think he was on the bench less than 2 years ago
Just so god damn proud that hes Australian.
I cant stop staring at his elbow
I never knew he was drafted no1 and rookie of year!
seriously andrew bogut can easily give you 15 pts and 12 reb on any given night. He only takes like 3-6 shots a game. seriously cmon mark jackson give bogut more touches.
andrew bogut come to the cavs if want ring I promise u will be a starter
Did he dislocate his elbow when he dunked? He shouldn't have let go of the rim...
If you watch the whole thing, his momentum made him let go, no way he could have held that!
Go Golden State Warriors
Hes a champ thank you
"AND ITS OVER THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS ARE THE 2015 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!"
2016*
+solidsnack1146 don't u look like a dumbass now
Happy Jordan LOL
Happy Jordan 2017*
RIP Andrew Bogut
This aged well
I wish greg oden could have a video like this also
Hope he can make a good comeback then- right now his video is looking 2:05 mins long, with injuries being 2mins and his comeback slam dunk being 5 seconds
People say Curry looks like he's still like going through puberty now.. a few years ago he looked no older than 14.
Am I the only one mad that those 2 MFers on the opposite team could’ve broken his fall so he wouldn’t get injured and didn’t? I’m not even in the NBA and I could see that hard fall coming a mile away.
AUSSIEEE!!!!
Love my dubs
wow they traded bogut for pachulia xD
bogut is 7"0
pachulia is 6"11
wow they ruined the chemistry
He set the path for the aussies to try and get into the nba
omg i saw the clip of him falling after the dunk but i never knew it was him that was disgusting
I swear if Bogut didnt get a injured the Bucks would have kept him.
Ughhh that arm thing was nasty
yeah Australia!
Almost won the ring till jr smite took him out
May I ask why all of a sudden?
I am going to a clinic that he's doing yes!!!!!!!
DUNK on MCGEEE, shaqtin a fool.
Aussie prideee
AUSTRALIA REP!
Why post this? Did he retire or something
It's about his journey coming back from injury and playing like his old self again but on a different team
He's a bloody essendon supporter
f we have bugot .. theres no 3-1 deficit .
VOTE JAVALE FOR ALL STAR
Australian pride
drinking milk and working out alot would make him stop having injuries
bruh, you think he doesn't work out, he practically does it everyday, you have to as an NBA player.
Cp3 won roty but bogut made all nba
never thought Bogut was a good player
the guy is good, just needs to stay out of early foul trouble
Durant travelled.
Bogut over howard any day
no
I hate him with a passion
I HATE AMARE STOUDIMIRE FOE WHAT HE DID
Your 7 footer dunking on a 9 foot rim and you get your elbow snapped?
A little advice Bogut, don't show off next time. Just dunk it simple.
Amare pushed him and caused him to fall badly otherwise it would have been a run of the mill dunk
it's a 10 foot rim... you sound stupid.
he did a regular dunk...
it was a regular dunk, he got interfered with by Stoudemire
dumbest thing I've read in a while
Now he's going to the cavs.
I just want to put out there that’s his myteam card sucks 😂
He pulled a KD
Stephen curry = Jesse pinkman
