IMO, Curry is almost single-handedly responsible for people thinking the three pointer is an unbalanced shot that's ruined the NBA. It's not; it's only unbalanced when he's the one shooting it, because he's a broken-ass glitch character in real life. Dude has targeting and range hacks, somebody oughta check his source code.

Both are equally good. I think it’s impressive either way. Too be super athletic and to be super good at shooting. Plus you need the muscle to shoot a ball
That last three was the day Curry changed the game. Super competitive, super engaging regular season game between Durant's Thunder and the dubs, that felt like a Finals Game 7. Everyone was watching it, the tension was as high as it can be in sports, and Curry nonchalantly walks down and rips one from 40 feet out to secure the win. From that point on every player, GM, and fan knew the power of the three, and every kid wanted to be like Steph
I do remember that being the time where everyone viewed curry as a legend of the game already . It was just so far from what anyone has seen before . The degree of difficulty on those 16 threes he took that game, and to make 12 was just different
It's true he was already great, but shots like this and the Clippers dribble and shot threw every rule book out the window. Got 4 seconds and a time-out in a tied game? Think I'll just pull up and let it rip from 40. Nobody's ever had the balls to do that intentionally, let alone the skill to back it up.
Although I‘ve watched and played basketball since I was very young, I have to admit watching this live was the moment that really changed the game for me!

What's crazy about so many of his shots is, even after he makes a bunch of crazy moves to shed his defender, he somehow always gets squared back up in his shooting stance before letting the ball go. It's insane. He may have to alter the way he releases it, but he is squared up to the basket and in his rhythm in an instant. His balance is incredible.
I'm a lifelong Celtics fan but you just can't dislike him, unless he's playing your team seeing as how he could be in the freaking locker room and still hit that buzzer beater.

Do you know how long the NBA will exist? Likely another 100 years at least... assuming humanity exists for a while the NBA will likely evolve into a international league or something and exist for thousands, millions, billions of years
I think eventually someone will be a better shooter than Curry lol but yes he's seriously amazing to watch
@@xahst considering my wording, you pose a very valid point. But also on that note, considering basketball itself is only 130 years old I would say projecting it to last 1000 or 1 million or a billion years might be a reach. but I do applaud your optimism in the human race
I say it on a regular basis... the kid is unnatural. My nickname for him is The Game Changer. Dude is incredible. Absolutely next-level. 100% built different. One of the greatest to ever do it. A legend up there with the very best.
the accuracy is Insane, but the quick release is divine🔥 the ball just go up so fast.
That move against the clippers @ 6:45 is by far my favorite NBA clip of all time. Just everything in it is ridicilous.
Nothing on MJ, but still good
Kerr’s reaction to it is priceless: “plenty of time, plenty of time, what are you?…. Good job”
halfway through i was like, how much crazier can it get? then i was like oh.
this man literally just chucks the ball and it goes in
Look at Curry man, so inspirational
His three quarter court three pointer at the buzzer (6:32) boggles the mind!! He is amazing!!
That Mike Breen double bang was the moment Steph cemented himself as the greatest shooter in history. What an absolute freak of nature man, guy is too good.
This is insane… I knew he was an amazing shooter because anyone who watches any basketball knows that…. But this compilation really gave me so much more respect for him. He’s otherworldly!
I love how in some of these they’re playing in another team’s arena but the fans still cheer like crazy
The fact that I got tired from watching after 3 and a half minutes tells you how talented Curry is, incredible!
I'm just happy that rules of basketball tie his hands a little from shooting from locker room.. it must be a pleasure watching a legend live. ❤❤
Curry shoots from his house's toilet and it still goes in
4:44 already turned around & running back into position, team mates all with arms in the air celebrating while the ball is still in the air 😂
that Giannis look tho 😂
😂😂😂
@@yrvhd that was the funniest part :D
Correction: everyone in the building looking at that shot except for Curry. That was savage AFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
I’ve watched pure shooters for 30 years. This man is on another level as a pure shooter. Nash, Stojakovich, Rice, Miller, Kerr all great shooters but this guy is on another level making it look effortless.
You meant Steph-fort-less as the guys from Inside The NBA on TNT like to say, lol.
Alternate Title: Shots that are ridiculous to everyone else but Normal for curry
this
Yep
yes
That one would be more accurate, because the one at 2:25 isn't a three.
Just started but curry scoring on Kobe making him smile is legendary
He’s one for the ages 🔥
The best I have ever seen, and I’m old.
MJ made us basketball fans, Curry keeps us watching !!! What a legend!
Love the way he turns and runs back as soon as he's thrown not waiting for the ball to go in. Stylish.
it's somewhat funny that he has just one game winner buzzer beater but so many at the end of a quarter
Cause the warriors don’t have that many close games
@@gozz2118 true but thats mainly because they are usually destroying the opponent team or they’re getting destroyed by the opponent team. most of the time its them destroying the opponent team. cuz the warriors are just too good.
Also when there is a 20 pt lead and 2 mins left on the clock curry just subs out knowing his job is done
True game winning buzzer beaters are extremely rare no matter who you are. He does have a bunch of game winners though which are equally clutch.
@@Cipher2002 that’s what he said bruh
U can always see the frustration from players every time they guard him from half court and he still makes it 😂
This man is on another level. Truly.
I always found the one from the corner against the pelicans was one of his best ones! How fast he got that second shot attempt off was unreal!
The NBA 2-Minute Report later said that Curry was fouled and should have been awarded a FT on that shot. No doubt, when you watch Anthony Davis piledriver Steph into the stands.
This dude is so awesome to watch, taking shots we tried as kids for hours only make it once. Curry does it once a game. He's a monster with that ball in his hands.
Steph has always been special in my book. Don’t even watch basketball like that but he’s amazing!!
I lost interest in watching basketball many years ago as I wasn't seeing anything new happen in the game and it had become boring for me. I've been hearing about what a great outside shooter Steph Curry was and so I decided to watch this highlight video and I am truly amazed. This guy must be the best outside shooter in history.
Accidentally added this to my "cooking list". Was gonna delete it from the playlist but it just feels right.
I love how in so many of the clips everyone freezes to see if he made it but him. He just keeps moving 🤣
3:03 I love how Kelly looks at him and just smiles lmfao
the HALF court shots are insane 🔥 🏀 🔥
The way he turned and looked at Giannis and Trae Young was honestly one of the most epic NBA Allstar memories. Crazy shooter
I just knew that shot against OLC has to be in the list
I will never forget that shot it was a like dagger 🗡 right through OKCs heart.
I can watch Curry drain them 3s all day & everyday so mesmerizing to watch. 🔥🤧
i love how on the second one he didn’t even wait he just walked back what a prime curry w 😮💨
3:48 best sound in the world.
You gotta guard this guy as soon as he steps out the car.
Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time, no one can convince me otherwise.
Edit: I wasn’t implying anything snarky or that someone would try to convince
Me, so sorry if it came off that way
Yuta watanabe better
Agreed
as technology advanced. who says its not rigged, if you remember they had that skit of "magnets in the ball" I dont doubt it anymore.. .golden state Has needed the revenue
I mean why would anyone try to convince you otherwise? It’s just a fact at the point
@@uuuk956 cry
The game is never over until Steph decides it's over. Insane amount of talent!
Bro is the only person I ever saw that can green light a buzzer beater from the other teams paint 😭😭
Every single Golden State fan should thank god that Steph is on youre team. He is so good.
Agreed!
I thank the Timberwolves instead. 😂
@@rocketfighter8 yah. 🤣🤣🤣
If he's so good why did he NEED to steal KD from the enemy team to get Easy Hand Me a Ring happiness.
Proof KD won all the Championship MVPs

4:42 THIS SHOT WILL NEVER GET OLD !!! IT'S SO INCREDIBLE ON SO MANY LEVELS !!
Yeah that was my favorite. Beyond clean. And the fact that he just turned around right away made it 3 times as good
Curry really did the 2k basic spin back 😂 @3:30
Haven’t watched bball regularly since the pistons were good in mid 2000s…but one day in early 2015 or 2016 can’t remember the warriors were on and I really wanted to watch Steph and so I sat down and got to experience #1 on this list live. It was amazing.
That last one is forever epic
I love that the OKC shot was saved for last. I will never forget watching it live and the adrenaline running through my and obviously curry, he was soo on fire that season and the sound in the anouncers voice screaming “Bang! Bang!!!” Soo nice he had to say it twice hahaha Kobe pay on the butt says it all, dudes insane;)
When you smoke Kobe and he gives you a butt pat, you are a little better than average.
The most insane and exciting shooter the game of basketball has ever had
I love how you can almost tell which ones are from earlier in his career, because you can still hear authentic disbelief from whoever is calling the games. More recently, you'll hear excitement, but not disbelief.
Absolutely, positively the purest, best and most accurate shooter ever to come to the NBA!
Imagine being double teamed at the half court line... 😳
