whenever i try to take the 2 on 1, people can always get it out before i can get it, becouse we are sweaty and that guy just slips out no problem. Any tips on how to secure it in a way that people cant really just take it out?

Instead of a monkey (5 finger) grip, grab the wrist with a standard C grip. Also my favourite thing about it you don’t have to keep them in the 2 on 1, you anticipate a few basic reactions (ex: posting on your head, grabbing your elbow, etc.) they might give you and have counters for them.
