Eddie Davis on trumpet is my dad and I'm proud that he got a chance to play with Mr. felder and Mr. Sample. He played his heart out with these guys for many moons and I appreciate them for giving him a chance to share his talents.
I've had the chance and privilege seeing your father playing in Tel-Aviv, Israel about 20 years ago. Amazing person and incredible jazz trumpet player!

Ooohh man!!! Thanks for posting this! :-) This was a special moment in my life! I was 16 years old when I saw this show on television. I even recorded the show on an audio tape, but the tape is gone now and it had suffered from too many playbacks in my car. I immediately fell in love with that singer and got some sentimental feelings, when I found this video yesterday. I wonder what happened to Reichii, because I could not find any useful information about her.

Beauty, being in the proverbial 'Eye of the Beholder', I thought Ms. Crawford was "Very Cute", not to say Ms. Reichii wasn't. At the present time, with age, I STILL THINK Ms. Randy is "Very Cute" and again, not to say Ms. Reichii isn't.

@@bluebeat00 Indeed he is! He's recorded several albums in his career, but was/is known as being an excellent session/studio musician. However, I think his "solo live performances" shine above anything he may have done in the studio or in a group collaboration. He did a live instrumental cover of Minnie Riperton's "Loving You" in Japan a while back. It's on CZcams somewhere. Look it up. I think you'll enjoy it immensely. Peace!
