I'm enjoying the sounds now 2024. Thank you GOD.
Wilton was always a class act with great riffs and tone.
1st Feb 2024, Joe Sample would have been 85. Miss his music so much
I sit here listening, both happy and sad. Happiness is derived from the extraordinary sounds created by the interplay from Joe, Wilton, Stix and the orchestra. Their skill and improvisational acumen is fantastic (Joe is exceptional) !! I'm saddened by the notion that today's musicians rarely devote this level of commitment to creativity in today's music industry. Even more, too few musicians even pursue the mastery of a given instrument. I feel so fortunate to have lived through an era that included true musicians. Hopefully, through You Tube and other places, this level of musicianship inspires a new generation of music makers.
ストリングスが入ったStreet Lifeなんて最高!!
The original crusaders met in grade school wow no wonder they are sooooo tight. pure brilliance

I consider myself very lucky to have seen the Crusaders in their prime back in 1978 with the legendary Phil Upchurch Jr. and Barry Finnerty on guitars.!! Awesome performance in Houston, Texas.!! Their hometown.! I saw them 2 or 3 other times later on.!! Always the best.! RIP.!!❤️
