When I first heard "Those Southern Knights" in the early to mid 70's, I went out a bought all their older albums too. It saddens me to know Joe Sample and Wilton are gone. Let's not forget Wayne and Stix who had their talent too. I was fortunate to see the Crusaders play live in the late 80's.

Then on to the University of Pittsburgh. Ride the Wind Brother Joe Sample. The Starfoxx. Joe Sample, the Outstanding Jazz pianist with the beautiful touch on the keys, has gone on... Loved his soulful renditions..

My favorite Jazz band! Saw them in 2004; Wilton, Joe, Ray Parker Jr and some young guy on the Trombone. One of the best concerts I've ever witnessed. Oh, Randy Crawford stopped in and sang three songs. Her voice was amazing, sounded better than the recordings. That young guy on the Trombone, got three standing ovations. Love and miss them. RIP Joe, Wilton, Sticks, Wayne

I've love this song since my youth 16, growing up in Detroit, Michigan, in the Jeffries projects, playing chess, sipping some wine, toking on a few joints, and baby it was on relaxing my mind, body and soul as I dreamed my way out of there. Now I'm 64 and back where the ancestors started GA and farming just like them. Way back home and still listening to the World Famous Jazz Crusaders' timeless music. Thank you Jazz crusaders for the wonderful memories
