This was a great talk to listen to. I resonated so much with his thoughts and feelings. I always try to connect with my plant allies and love having my hands in the soil directly for that earthly connection. I truly enjoyed listening to this. I am currently creating a kitchen garden incorporating the elements and meditative practice into the process, kind of like a herbal medicine wheel I guess. I am hoping it flourishes come summer. I intend to grow and harvest a lot of my own medicines from the space whilst also working spiritually in the space.

wonderful to hear this....but I would say that UK herbalists have moved on now, and I think we have a wonderful community with lots of hands on herbal medicine, plant communing and more. We aren't what we were in the 70's and 80's. Maybe David would like to come over and see...I know we'd love to see him, and we have some wonderful events now. With Annie McIntyre and two other friends we hosted Herbfest UK for 7 years, and now there are many other similar gatherings - Rosemary, you came to a couple of those, I hope you enjoyed them and could see we now have a community of herbalists, not just phytotherapists.
