Actually prayer should be directed to the Creator of the plant's, not the plants.
Dried lemon balm straight up taste like fruit loops
Sadly I never got to complete the herbal courses I enrolled in.
So much deep richness here. It’s offered me a lot of reflections, thanks so much. I love the aspect of doing the personal work alongside the growth of learning with the plants too, and that fear can be two types. Wow. Had never thought of it like that. Fear to change or fear to grow, we all have fear. It’s so obvious but had never thought of us all experiencing fear when there’s often the fear/love comparison in the personal development scene.
I love these conversations. I just wish the audio was better with some of the guests, it’s quite hard to listen to this one with it being so echoey. I’m super grateful for the information that all your guests share. Thank you so much.
Margi and all the others helping jim were such a blessing. ❤❤❤ I was a student in jim's intensive during that time, we were all praying for him and his family. Thank you for sharing that story. We are so blessed by all of you. ❤❤❤
Great stories from two of my favorite herbalists. Love you both forever.
I have to say this was my favorite interview . I listened 3 times. Thank you both for sharing your lives.
OMG I dont want this conversation to end!!! 🙏🏻🤍 thank you for all your beautiful sharing! ❤
Rosemary… please can you furnish me with details of your opening/closing song? I’d like to hear all of it. Kind regards🌻

This summer my morning routine include stepping outside in the early morning and inhaling the aroma of the field poppy that took over my Hugel mound. Then, I began gathering the petals. Now every morning I gather the seed pods that have opened. Thanks for your interviews with herbal elders. I appreciate your abundance of knowledge and love the recipe book.
This is why people think herbalist are witches..i only pray to God in Jesus name
Thank you 🙏💜
Great chat!
So fabulous to hear Ed’s stories. Makes me recall so many more. I learned so so much from him - like the plants themselves, of which I feel speak through him. I am who I am today because of my time spent in the presence of this unique, adorable wise man, an herbal & life mentor extraordinaire. Thank you Rosemary (Rosie ❤️) for recording your conversation for the ages!! A true treasure!
God gave herbs for the service of man Amen thank you Lord.
Hello Rosemary. I bought a couple of your books from Amazon, but I have a hard time understanding your recipes. You used the word “part” a lot on the recipes on your books. What did you mean by “part”? Like for example, 1 part lemon balm or 1 part ginger or 1 part basil? You mean 1 teaspoon? Please help. Thanks.
Heal the world, save the planet 🌏. Keep that hope alive. Bringing a healing light and love to our Mother Earth. ❤ Modern technology needs to piss off. Love what David had to say. Very refreshing and uplifting interview. Thank you Rosemary, and thank you David. Ps. I have gifted my Doctors in my past with David's Herbal medical book so they could educate them self. Maybe give some good advice to their patients or if asked a herbal question. Reference book. Blessings ❤🎉😊
Great chat!
Brigitte and I would frequently meet at an Rx in Boulder, Colorado years ago! She used to WORK there and would teach me about the different herbs and teas there! Fond memories. Glad to see her here.
❤❤ This, so true
Rosemary, please write an autobiography!!!
I love Margi too, of course!!
Rosemary was my first teacher and I love her. Would like to meet her someday. She is so amazing and humble!
Many mullein groups on social media are promoting smoking mullein for CPOD etc.... I always caution but no one wants to listen.
Rosemary... thank you so very much for bringing this platform to share the wisdoms of the elders. Its such an inspiration.
Oh goodness!!! Please, please have him back for more of his experiences and stories.. Such a rare human being and a true delight. Thank you!!
I can attest to Ed's lecturing at the Hippocrates Health Institute in the 1970s because I caught a lecture of his there with one of those free raw food banquets. Soon after I joined the institute's staff for a time. Around then I also caught a series of lectures in NYC by Dr. Christopher. I still have those tapes somewhere. Great to hear these stories Ed!
Thanks Steven. Indeed, you and I go way back.
This woman is absolutely wonderful, she made my day today. Thank you.
Trying to recall just when it was that Ed and Sarah brought their tinctures to the Ashland Community Food Store, sometime around 1981. And I was fortunate to have an iridology exam from Dr Christopher in San Francisco in the early 1970s, when he and Michael Tierra were making the rounds. At Fred Rohe's New Age Natural Food Store on 9th Avenue in the Sunset area of San Francisco in 1969 and 1970, we did sell bulk herbs in gallon jars, as well as bulk grains in barrels, and milled flours on our stone burr mills, brought to us by Frank Ford of Arrowhead Mills in Texas. I think that Bio-Botanica made a tincture of Siberian Ginseng (Eleuthero) in 1975, because I recall thinking how potent it must be. Love the Lobelia story, Ed. Just took some of the Kloss Lobelia Skunk Cabbage Compound or "Antispasmodic Tincture," now called Muscle Calmer by Herb Pharm. Very proud to have been there to offer your formulas at the Ashland food Coop, back-in-the day, when natural foods were-the-way that we were. Some of us still are that way, and the herbal products continue to be revealed from around the world. Cannabis was certainly there as one of the first herbs in our lives in the late 1960s, and ever since. Jeanne Rose's "Herbs and Things," and "Herbal Body Book" were on our shelves too. Ann Wigmore and Viktoras Kulvinskas were also our teachers. Bernard Jensen, Gypsy Boots, Paavo Airola, Adelle Davis, Michio Kushi... 'Tis so good to reminisce. Thanks Rosemary and Ed!
Hello Craig. Thank you and Ashland Co-op for your support of Herb Pharm all these years, and for all the helpful guidance you've given to so many during your lifetime of work.
This was a great conversation and he’s a really wonderful storyteller. I really enjoy these conversations and I’m so grateful that you are having these conversations. Thank you and them for sharing because another generation learns from y’all. ❤😊
How do you not have 1 million followers?!! ❤❤❤ YOU are a blessing. Our special human herb 🌿
Excellent discussion, thank you.
What a fantastic story teller! Beautiful. Thanks for sharing xx

"u gotta know how plantain looks like in january" 😅 i guess i gotta try digging some next jan under about 3-4feet of snow 😁 lets see... ... ...
WOW, what a treasure!!! I love meeting these herbal elders. I am new to this but listening to them I see how the herbs have been talking to me, jumping up and down trying to be noticed since the mid 70’s. I have owned Back to Eden since the late 70’s, it has no cover, it has traveled the country with me and I have used it as a reference here and there but FINALLY it will have a place of prominence as I grow my own herbs and try them and experience them. I am so very excited to finally meet the weeds. My new friends that will save my life.
Weeds of Worth
I totally feel like Im sitting by a bondfire listening to these conversations! Thank you for sharing the wisdom of the elders ❤
I absolutely love these interviews and all the wisdom shared! Thank you❤️
I love what he said about singing the songs from the ancients that's what I love about the Mass sait Hildegard van bingen understood this so well too!
I really enjoyed this! The story about the trip to find the holy man in the jungle was my favorite. I have been honored to work with Elders traditionally trained, not by some weekend workshop, but from birth and I am so grateful! Those most sacred medicines, I believe, are being so miss used! I've heard stories! And it breaks my heart. We are now living in the 'fast food world'! My Elders have taught me that when an herb is abused, it affects the energy and strength of all of the same plants world wide. It can degrade them. And in my tradition we have stories of how the medicines came to us. And how they could leave us if the abuse continues. We do not own the plants! They are our brothers and sisters, our mothers and fathers, our grandmothers and grandfathers. So you have to think, would you treat your family in a careless manner. That was a powerful story Ed shared. Wado
Thank you! This is such a balm to my weary soul
