    I agree, apprenticeship, follow and work with a seasoned and experienced herbalist first. When I was a studying nurse, part of my training was to work in a hospital, a nursing home and a Healthcare clinic while being mentored. My father was a master Carpenter and had young, just schooled carpenters working with him for a time. We all benefit from an introduction to a trade by an experienced elder.

    What a wonderful interview! I love and respect you both! And I agree about Phyllis’ accent. I grew up for a while in West Virginia before moving to Illinois, and I was just hit, how much I miss that southern voice. Thank you for all the great info and stories.
