Love seeing all the 1-4/6/8x scopes
Thanks for doing such great scope reviews! You get to the finer details that make scope purchase decisions more informed! Glad Leupold is sticking with SFP and simple duplex. Daylight bright illumination isn't necessary in the daylight when you have a visible reticle available at all powers. If the firedot on this 1-6 model is the same as my VX5HD 2-10 firedot, then there is no problem seeing it in the daylight.
Man, leupold would be at the top of the food chain of scopes if they would ever get away from simple duplex reticles. I love leupold, but I never get one because I like my BDCs
Edit: real BDCs. Not just 3 little hash marks lol
Leupold came out with the Patrol VX6 with a BDC reticle. I haven't had much luck with BDCs being true to the set zero stadia lines. Other than Trijicon ACOG MCO 4X32. Those were solid!
Old fudds?!
they have them now
Me: looks at a scope’s reviews online.
CZcams algorithm: C_DOES already did this last year.
@C_DOES which scope do you recomend between VH-6HD and Razor HD Gen 2 1-6?
I’ll send you a credo HX green dot .223 hunter holds crosshairs to review ... will change minds about bright a green led LPVO can get .. it goes nuclear :) ... another great review thank you!
Very nice 👌👍
I have the 1.5 to 4 and love it!
C-DOES, amazing no BS technical reviews! How does this compare to the MK6? Basically the same scope?
Oh nice, I’ve been waiting for this one
I noticed your lines don’t match up on your elevation knob. That illumination is a joke. I expect more for the price. Great review as always! You’re the best.
You don't need illumination in daylight and in low light it's perfect in my opinion. I have the red fire dot and I love it.
Amazing video as always.
Wish You could colaborate with Gun Jesus and Inrange
Its like gun asmr with head phones on 🥰
I really appreciate your optic reviews and am hoping that someone sends you a Leupold Patrol 6HD 1-6x24mm Scope with Illuminated CM-R2 reticle for review, as I am interested in getting it for my 12.5 inch patrol SBR.
Also hoping for a review on that model Patrol 6HD
I have one, it's the same basic scope in this review with minor differences (capped windage, screw in PTL, blacked out lettering/ring.) The Firedot is a wire reticle, so it's illum is brighter than the CMR2-which is an etched reticle. I would consider the CMR2 daylight visible, however the glass is so clear and bright that the reticle contrast is very bold in daylight making the illum unnecessary for anything other than low light, and even then, the reticle is still easy to define without it.
amazing, it's so sharp!
Love your chanel !
Can you please review Barska 1-4x24mm Level HD
I looked at this scope the other day, and at 6x the glass was fantastic. At 1x there was a lot of fish eye, and for the money I’d rather get the Vortex Razor HD 1-6.
I seen this scope on a Facebook ad for 85.00 no no I didn't jump on it don't want to get ripped off
Which scope at 1x rules them all so far for you? Thanks!
What scope mount do you recommend? 1.5 1.7 or 1.93” height?
On more question I hunt in the bottoms with a pistol red dot on a semi 30-06 in varying low light conditions at close ranges 2 to 30 yards. This rig is light weight with fast target and unlimited field of view.
I have a 308 semi coming and wish to do the same thing but also have magnification for when I hunt at longer ranges. What is a good option I see these lvpo have eye relief disadvantages less field of view and weigh a lot more. What is a good compromise? red dot with remove able magnifier perhaps?
Unique reticle review!
Leupold: What illumination?
Nice review, I have the VX5HD and it is beautiful. Have you had the chance to check out the VX3 HDs? I'm wondering if the glass is the same as these?
Nope.
@@bfdadventure so why did they call it HD? You've compared them?
@@FC2ESWS Yes I have. VX5 and VX6HD same glass. VX6 cost includes alumina caps, and electronic level. VX3HD not bad, but not on par with 5&6 for glass. Gets more whitewash on the edges.
@@bfdadventure ah thanks. I have a vx5hd and glass is amazing. I was thinking the 3 would be the same with less magnification range. What a bummer.
Just ordered VX5 1-5x24 illuminated with CDS turret - main use for hunting and some range time. 👍🇨🇦
I bought one with a duplex reticle about 5 years ago, and used it a few times. Wish it had the BDC but wasn't availble at the time. Question, how would the scope work in bright moon light? In Germany, wild boar hunting is done in moonlight, and my VX6 3-18x50 didn't work all that well. A Swarovski provided a sharper image. Wonder what your thoughts are.
Get a shmidt and bender
Leupold just came out with the Patrol VX6 with a BDC reticle.
@@bfdadventure looks awesome
I have 3 of the 6HD 3-18 scopes... I haven't seen any hunting scope line that out performs this line of hunting scopes.
I see the 6HD 1-6 on a lot of African big game guns and hog guns.
Have you compared them with swarovski z6i?
@@Justin-zw1hx not in person. I have looked on the specs and how they are designed. I would say the Leupold 1. Comes in MOA. 2. The turrets are much simpler and come with a option to have 1 custom turret made for free. 3 similar weight.
I was able to compare Swarovski Z3 to Leopold scopes and they are as good as each other
When you have time will you reply or make a comparison with this and the TRIJICON Credo HX 1-6x24 SFP?
Lol I was going to ask the exact same question
Nice work.
The dot's a hair low of centered on the cross hair. Been driving me nuts this whole video.
Is the turret made from plastic or aluminum?
How does compare to trijicon TR25
What's the difference 1x6 and 1.5x4? I need to know.
That’s the magnification abilities
"Pew pew" lol
based on your experience what scope you would buy with 1000 dollars more or less?
He said in another video he still loves the steiner 1-4.
Delta Stryker 1-6x24 is the one to beat
Get the Steiner 1-4
Wait, I thought the firedot was The Real Deal closest thing to a red dot in a lpvo...
Cost?
So what is the best 1x6 lpvo?
The question of the century lol
@@christophersaenz7605 1st or 2nd vp
@@jbloun911 Probably by far, the best 1-6 LPVO (depending on your purpose) is going to be the Khalsa K16i 1-6
Um like
If it’s not daylight bright I don’t even consider it
🇺🇦👍
At least 1-10x for my old eyes! 😩😟
