I remember watching this race live and being blown away by Kimi’s move on Ralf. Kimi was mesmerising in this race IMO, and sooo unlucky that the one slip-up he made on worn tyres let Fisi through at what soon turned out to be a critical moment, and ended up being pivotal in the outcome of the race…! Kimi was awe-inspiring in early 2003 👏
Previous race he won by a mile as well lmao And first race of the season McLaren pit lane limiter cost him 4 points and the race win that day And never at one point would you say the McLaren was the fastest car at that point of the season as well
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1 Exactly. He challenged Schumi to the last race with a modified 2002 car.. Ferrari and williams bmw was the two top teams that season(as McLaren-Mercedes' 2003 car failed etc..) No wonder Ferrari wanted Kimi in Schumi's seat later..
This was one of Kimi's best races of the season(2003). .. How did the story go here..? He(KR) won but then had to give 1st to Fisichella and then he was second..? Something that everyone else had already changed the tyres but Fisi, and that point the race was finished as Kimi was 1st, but since Fisi hadn't changed his tyres yet he was technically leading(and the victory went back to him?)
Canada mistake was irrelevant. He had a puncture in the race. Spain was his only costly mistake but still wouldn't have been enough. Nuburgring cost him the title.@@bumblebity2902
This was my first F1 race and instantly became a fan of Kimi Raikkonen and F1 as a sport. What an insane talent Kimi was!!

Still Schumacher would've won on countback
@@bumblebity2902 without Kimi's engine blowing in Nurburgring while leading(and Ferrari whining about the michelin tyres) he'd have had a chance..
