Dougo say’s save the grass make a wide turn with the skid steer. Few clips later half his grass is in a pile of dirt the height of his house. 😂
I could listen to Dougo all day long. He tell some of the greatest stories.
Chet, you are so lucky to spend so much time with your Dad (and Mom)....appreciate it while you have it. Lost my Pops a couple of years ago and miss him every day.
LOL The biggest 'you didn't know you needed it until you bought one' is Dougo's excavator. When I started watching, I was like 'why do they own a full size excavator?' but you guys use the crap out of it.
That the thing when you have it you use it. A backhoe or excavator can pay for itself in a few years on a farm. If they did all the site prep for the bin site it more then paid for itself.

I can watch this channel all day. This is probably one of the funniest/ best episode ever. Esp. about the skunk and the roll of carpet. Dougo describing when you know the skunk is going to "gun" off. That was brilliant story telling.
Good video. For some reason you reminded me of a program that was on a while back called the "Red Green" show, but there was a guy who used to advertise for "Rothschild's Sewage and Septic Sucking Services". Very funny with all of the advertising phrases he used like "If the neighbors are complainin', better start drainin'" or "If your tank overflows, I'll be there with my hose." Glad this sucker worked so well.
Boy oh boy, now you two have done it!! Amy and Jean-Marie now know you know how to vacuum and like it so guess that gonna be part of those honey do list now!!!

The Victorians had a device for picking the gravel off their country house driveways, cleaning it and then putting it back down. The railways also have a device for picking up the ballast from the track cleaning it, taking out undersized stuff, adding a bit of new and then putting it back. :)

Man, I could have used that machine last summer. I removed all the landscape rock from around our house by hand. What a job that was. Then I spread it out on the concrete driveway and washed all the dirt out of it. That took longer than I had expected. Then I picked it all back up and put it back in.
Love Larsons always! Son and dad relation is a great example how well we all can live! :)

Dougo I call the easy bleeding and bruising "Old Man Skin" which I have. Having the right equipment for projects is important. Wish I would have had that vac last year would have been a lot easier for removing all of Our rock. Another great video.

We finally got some rain, praying you guys get some too!
I built a portable wire sieve to get the rocks out of the dirt.
I then built a wash station so the rocks past along a chicken wire frame and were washed.
I then put the rocks back into the garden.
I had plenty of time so saved myself about $1000 Au.
Worth every second but you guys have better things to do.
They do make soil screeners that separate stone from the dirt. I love listening to Dougo's stories.

With the issue of the rain gutters Dougo, I have seen manufacturers make a Y connection. I’m sure the Big swede can engineer it if you can’t find one. Good luck.

I'm from Ireland and we do not have Skunks!! I worked in Maine for a few summers and they are nasty! Not to be messed with! A pong you will never forget!

I am vacuum jealous! I have a lot of rock I am picking by hand. Bought the house with them here. They go through the mower and shoot out and they will land anywhere. I go around and pick them and put in the garbage can. It is a never ending job.
