Yeah when he's sacked because thats whats going to happen. Newcastle need to protect their investment and howe is not the man to lead them forwards. They have out grown him in just one season. Newcastle suddenly act like a big club and the trigger finger of howes sacking looms. Almiron's inability to use his right foot cost Newcastle what should have been an easy tap in. Though it was a good tackle the tackle would have came to nothing had Miggy used his other foot. Apart from that he had a good game which is more than I can say for Isak and Wilson. Both Bruno and Joelinton were the stand out players who were excellent.
It was a tap in and he completely screwed it up

1. Didn't take their chances
2. No plan B on the bench
3. Tired squad that needed rotating before this game but NUFC lack squad depth at present

I love Eddie Howe as a Burnley fan he was amazing when he was with us and I love his getting his plaudits now, very very underrated manager
It’s a shame since I don’t think Newcastle are in the right position to get top 4 this season, although it is still possible. It might be 2 years until they’re back but hopefully Howe will still be there and the squad depth and quality will be improved so that they can combine the great intensity and training already there with the quality necessary to go deeper. As a Liverpool fan, the Klopp side was steeled in failure and came out much stronger because of it, I hope for the same for Newcastle.

The lads gave everything out on the pitch , it’s been an absolutely incredible 2 years for us Geordies since Ashley and Bruce went and we got not only owners that want the absolute best for Newcastle United but also a manager that wants that old,
Hopefully we’ll qualify again next season and hopefully we’ll have a stronger squad to compete on every competition we’re involved in.

I know i will get hate for this but this manager is overrated. Other than psg, the other teams in the group were highly pressing with fast counter attacks. Eddie howe had no idea how to adapt anr play against a different style team other than a premier league team. He became clueless even at home. To be realistic, Newcastle are on a par with Brighton or Man U and slightly behind Villa. That is fantastic progress but considering we are the richest club in Europe, it's a little disappointing. We are a huge club. We should never settle for second best. This club needs a winner to take the reins. Eddie is an amazing coach but he lacks the mentality of a winner. I hate saying this because Eddie is a true gentleman and a great coach but I see Mourinho, Pep, Klopp, Arteta etc and I see something different. They are game changers. I'll even add Emery or Conte to that list. They demand the best and never settle for second best.
Newcastle lost out on Maddison and Szoboszlai in the summer. They even missed Barella and signed Tonali.
