"its an alright road" best quote ever, god, this is why I love Gi's vlogs
What a wonderful story. It all sounds very natural and like it should be. I could listen to you tell stories for ages. I always find your videos quite calming and joyful.
Love love love Gi's reaction to being born on the side of a motorway 'you know, it's an alright road' 'should be named after it and A40 Fletcher just doesn't have a ring to it' You crack me up Gi!
I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant with my first. This video has made me feel alot more confident about giving birth. Thank you Gi. xxx
Please don't say sorry, I've noticed you do that a lot. Everyone on here loves you and your stories. Your personality is infectious and it's like have five mins with you best friend. Thanks for sharing with us xxx
You know you're obsessed when you recognise Carrie's book that hasn't even been released yet on Gi's shelf...
Yeah, keep fangirling everytime I see it in Tom and gi's vids
awwwwww those baby noises in the background. my favourite sound ever!!!
Buddy was born the same day that I completed my year of therapy - I find it kind of poetic and lovely really. Videos with Buzz in this past year had kept hope alive for me telling me there was something still to live for and precious in this world and then here came Buddy so it was like another Fletcher had popped into the world to say well done to me.
I had my final group that day as did my friend there and it was so weird because we were talking about you, Tom and Buzz and saying how Player Number 2 was almost in the game...then I came home to find that Buddy had arrived in the world and it made me so happy for it to happen on that day too.
Congratulations Gi and Tom on two beautifully inspiring children :) x
Buddy's little noises are the sweetest thing ever! So glad it all went well xx
I can see a sneaky 'on the other side ' book in the background:)
+Helen Millard Was just about to comment that! Can't wait to read it! :)
Yeah, I noticed that too ^-^
Even your "Mum look" is stunning Gi
Thank you so much for sharing your story! You certainly didn't need to, but it was lovely to hear it! Congratulations again 😊
Loved this Gi! Thanks so much for sharing xx
So lovely of you to share this! Huge month-old, congratulations! :)
Lovely video; thank you for sharing your story and congratulations on the new baby.
Been eagerly watching and waiting for this video :) love your family ways and values.. X
You are my favourite. So happy to see a new video. I just purchased all of your books on Amazon. They've arrived and I can't wait to get stuck in! Your little family is so endearing. ❤️
I abs love yours and Toms video blogs! Congratulations and welcome back. Iv missed watching both of you xx
love it when I see you that you have uploaded Gi. You are such an amazing mum x
Oh I just love these maternity videos so much ❤️ Please post some more! Really glad to hear it all went well :)
I showed my mum some of your videos, she said she loves you as you are so down to earth. Couldn't agree more with her! :) xx
You're amazing. So much joy and it's so great that you're willing to share these amazing experiences! :)
Gi, you are one of the most incredible and inspirational women I know. Your family is your number one which you can see on your face as you light up every time you speak of them. Massive congratulations on becoming a mum again.
Love hearing birth stories, thanks for making this video. I had my second daughter in December and it happened so quickly for me too. I didn't make it to the hospital though and had her in the living room, we had moved into our new house less than 2 weeks before! I remember that feeling that you described, she literally came out after 3 pushes. Massive difference considering with the first one I was pushing for an hour and 20 mins. You are doing an amazing job and you look brilliant. Having two is challenging but I wouldn't change it for anything. I love being a mummy and watching my two little ones grow up, feels like a great achievement x
Loved it! Had goosebumps when you were talking about the inexplicable sensation when Buddy was born! Beautiful!!
Lovely to see your video pop up 👏🏻 beautiful birth story. Totally agree, I've had three births, each one completely different. I love how down to earth you are. What a beautiful family.
I love how personal you make your vlogs. It just feels like you're talking to us as if we're there, which is lovely. You are so lovely and it's wonderful hearing how you're doing and what your pregnancy was like. Well done to you and Tom, happy birthday to Buzz and I hope are all doing well! ❤️
Don't apologies for rambling, I like all your little stories from you guys' everyday life. There is just something insanely likable about you and Tom, and I always find myself wishing you guys all the best in life. When you tell stories it is like listening to one of my friends talk, with all the little side stories that contains, and I really like that. Thank you for also sharing this part of your life with us :) Have a lovely weekend!
Awesome story Gi, hope you're doing well!! Really enjoyed this video on my birthday!! Love you a lot!❤️
This Vlog made me so happy! You didn't ramble on at all, it was said perfectly! Lots of love to the fletcher family from an Australian subscriber xxx
That's fantastic, thanks Gi! sitting here at 35 weeks, was so lovely to hear that, it's made me feel a little more calm, with this one being my second, I'd love to labour naturally this time, no induction fingers crossed. Can't believe how well you remembered everything. xx
You are wonderful! Congratulations on your new son Buddy and also Buzz turning 2. I love your positivity and honesty and wish you the best of luck with your growing family! xxx
Glad to see you back Gi X
Buddy is just too adorable 😘😘
Absolutely love your honesty! Xx
You're absolutely GLOWING. x
I literally love her sooooo much, she's a bundle of joy 💗
This was a lovely telling of a great story! Crazy days that was quick!!
Such an incredible story Giovanna .. Thank you so much for sharing something so personal .. Really amazing for women expecting .. So happy for you and your family ... Love and light to you all always xxxxxxxxxxxxx
You're such an incredible mum/wife! Love watching your vlogs and loved meeting you in Manchester last year! That's just bizzar how it was last year! ❤️
Great birth story. I am so happy it went actually smoothly for you. It is good to hear you have been taking care of you and that makes life a whole lot better. Happy 2nd Birthday Buzz! Also Happy 1 month Birthday Buddy! Such blessings your little ones are. You look terrific by the way.
I love hearing birthing stories so thank you for sharing yours Gi. I also wanted to express my inner nerd here but commenting about what you said about birthing words but specifically the word 'contractions' and how you said you don't mind them. My first thought was a hermione quote "Fear of a name, only increases fear of the thing itself" and in this instance I believe it's very fitting :) Glad to see you looking so well after a month. Xxxx

LOVED hearing your birthing story! I'm going on 38 weeks this Sunday and everyday is a waiting game of when/if I go into labor, and with it being my first time, hearing other peoples stories helps a lot :)
Aw this is the first video I've seen from Giovanna and me oh my is she just the loveliest woman! How sweet and caring. Have subscribed after one video. Which is rare. Haha! :) Best of luck with your beautiful bouncing baby boys and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thats sounds like the most magical expeirence your description is very soothing! Two very different births is a good thing I guess. Makes me less worried about having a baby when I listen to your experience. thank you x
Don't be sorry! it was a beautiful story. so happy all is well in the Fletcher home ^_^ welcome to the world Buddy ^_^
💙💙💙 love this. You make me giggle x
I adore the phrase "I grew this little "human"" so cute and your doing so well xxx
This way lovely to watch - I had my first 8 months ago, and I actually LOVED my labour. I had no stomach pains whatsoever, just intense aches in my hips and thighs with each contraction, and a feeling of being really constipated.
I didn't practice Hypno Birthing, but breathing through the contractions is the best pain relief, you feel in control and so proud of yourself once bubba has arrived!
Like you, things progressed quickly. I was already fully dilated when they examined me (I had been in the pool for 10 minutes before this but it made my aches SO intense I had to get out)
I had to have some Gas and Air when pushing, that stung! I was pushing for quite a while as well but at 22:28 on 05/07/2015, my gorgeous Daughter, Bonnie Rae Compton was born. It was the best day of my life, and the most amazing experience.
I love watching your videos,
I wish you and your incredible family the best and happiest times life can give xx
I am so excited for you all! All happiness and health for The Fletcher's! 😊☺
Aww hope all is well Gi! Love watching your videos. All my love too you, Tom, Buzz and Baby Buddy! ❤️❤️ xxxx
jst wait till they reach 18 & 16 ! I cried massively. But they're my best friends & my pride & joy. well done you, 2 kids are hard work but so worth it x
I loved your little story! I'm hoping to study midwifery so I love listening to stories like this :) congrats and take care :) x
I find it so fascinating listening to birth stories, it's truly incredible what our bodies can do!
Congratulations! Beautiful story to hear, as a midwife I love hearing positive and empowering stories 💗
Thank you for posting about your birth story and earlier about hypnobirthing. I've always been too scared to carry a child because of the birth, rather planning to adopt. But after watching your videos I'm genuinely considering being pregnant for my future children. I just rewatched the videos with my partner and now he's in full on research mode to find out more information!
Glad you and Buddy are healthy and doing well!
Why did this make me cry??? I'm guess I'm just happy everything went so well and I love new babies!
Wonderful how each birth is different isn't it? All three of mine were the same way and got easier as well the last one I had in 30 mins. Amazing! Glad everything and all of you are well!
I think I was born much faster. But I wasn't born naturally. I sat upricht and bc they were worried it would go wrong if my mum had me at home the hospital made an appointment for me to be born. The whole process ofc took much longer. But I was out of her wom really fast at the end
You look great!!! Congrats! Xx
Aw well done you you sound on top of the world.xx😀
This is was really good :) Glad everyone is healthy and doing well!
Totally feeling the unpredictability! 4 months in on my first and I still don't know where I am 😆 great videos, thank you!
I felt exactly the same with my twins then when I had another baby. You're so inspirational xx
Love this Gi X
Man Gi, your hair looks awesome!
Congratulations to you all!! Xx
You are amazing Gi! :-)
It was lovely hearing Buddy, don't you worry about that Gi! And great to hear of someone who's had more than one positive birthing experience - I feel like you only ever get to hear the terrible ones and that just makes me dread having to go through it at some point!
All my love to you and your three gorgeous boys! xx (Oh and once again a happy birthday to the world's most adorable Big Boy Buzz!
Sound's like you've had a truly amazing time. Really interesting to hear about your different experiences with the two births :) And Buddy's snuffles are the cutest!! Xxx P.S. you're looking radiant, great mum look.
I quite like A40 Fletcher 😂😂 too funny, congratulations you guys are perfect xxx
Aww cute buddy noises in the background 👶🏼
Honestly Gi your skin looks amazing! If I look that good when I have 2 young children I will be very happy
Aww sounds like the perfect arrival! :-)
Wow sounds like an amazing experience! My dad was actually born in the back of a bus on the way to the hospital! Can't even begin to imagine how strange that experience was for my gran! Hope you and family are doing well! Xx
Anyone else spot carries book in the background?
Yes and I can't wait to read it
+Monchele Jedwardian i was freaking out when i saw it !!!
And all of Gi's 😁
+Monchele Jedwardian yep
+Monchele Jedwardian Good eye, I had to pause and have a gander.
Thank you for sharing this story! I loved it! You guys are awesome! Can you talk about your naming process? What's in a name? I'm always curious as to how parents come up with the children's names and I love the names you and Tom have picked out for your boys.
I hope you and you're family are doing well! He was born on my birthday and i was delighted when I found out I could share a birthday with little Buddy! Xx
love it!!!!! you are amazinh
This is so cute!!!
I could not stop laughing after 9:06
congratulations on your beautiful family
You look beautiful Gi, you are my role model for when I get a kid.
so happy to hear that everything went beyond well! and so happy to hear that Buddy won't be the last baby Fletcher 😁
Talking about your emotions towards Buzz growing up reminded me of my mum, I can tell you that you'll feel the same way for so many years. My mum felt that that with me last week when we were talking about me moving out this month. She got a bit emotional about her 'baby girl growing up' 19 years later haha
what a gorgeous story
This is so like my experiences with both boys, how funny. My big one was born on 16/2 too :) congratulations again 😘
Ahh! I can see in the background that Gi has gotten her hands on a copy of On The Other Side before any of us! Lucky! I can't wait to read it!
I had such a similar birth experience where my body took over and did the pushing and that feeling you described is exactly what I had... It was so bizarre but very efficient at evicting my son x
I guess it shows that no matter how much you prepare whether from hearing other people's story or comparing it to what happened with your first born, that you can never really know what's going to happen!
My daughter was also born at 2:26 am after a super fast labour too! Congrats x
I love you, Gi!
Hypnobirthing sounds so relaxing and calming
We have 3 under 5, and doesnt get any easier those milestones!
We find out our youngests schools mid april, and not prepaired to let them go and be all grown up fully inderpendent little people.
My births were the complete opposites, same with my pregnancys, its strange with how your body prepairs to cope each time is so unique :)
aaaw! I wish we could have seen Buddy too! But what an incredible story!
I find these birth stories so interesting haha
Awww what a lovely birth story :)
Love hearing birth stories
Haha that's so funny! My little girl was born at the side of the road in an ambulance. I'd left it too late to get to the hospital on time. Had a very speedy delivery 😂
Love your videos
did anyone notice Carrie's book in the background? x
You're looking really well, so glowy and happy :)
How did the placenta encapsulation go? Do you find they're helping? 🙂
