No problem, Farmtech were really good who i bought it from. Lovely bit of kit and once adjusted correctly for your tractor/land it's great.👍

Have a Winton flail I use with a Yanmar 16 bhp tractor.Great tool, though tractor with a bit more power, would be ideal.

Great video thank you ! Could I ask a favour - would the larger cat 2 ends fit in the brackets if it was sleeved down? I’m not sure if the brackets are wide enough to take the larger balls.

Magic video I am just about to use the same mower with a compat tractor, havn't thought of lowering roller, is that a problem? Thanks for video.

Lowering the roller gives a higher cut and for me meant less clogging up and bogging down as i'm borderline on the tractor HP. I left the skids where they were and didnt get any scalping which was good. Have a look at the the flail mower on the back of the tractor on flat land it should look level, if not adjust the top link. 👍👍

Do you find front weights would help with a flail on? I bought 3x 20kg for my iseki not sure how much I need!

@@alexfowler1986 I haven't bought any yet, main problem is lifting the flail up the steering goes as the front wheels come off the ground. Not sure if there is a calc to do ie half the flail weight and that's the tractor weights you need? You have the same flail? The 105 is listed as 180kg from memory.

I think they say online put 35/40% of weight on the front kinda makes sense!

Good to see how someone else is getting on with a winton mower. I have a winton 1.45m side shift mower and have played around with height settings as I found on our land the skids would often dig into the ground when turning. your approach with the roller down is what I have done and works best…i have still found on soft ground the roller side mounts can mark the ground. The Wessex products I have looked have a much larger diameter roller which I think a distinct advantage. 👍🏻
