@@Mikeyboofboof I spent this summer fishing on various carp puddles with a center pin no alarms just pin, 10lb mono and a barbel rod in the margins with a method feeder and it was great sport I had many a chuckle.
That's a really cool bait stand.
Reminds me of my days on the Kennett at Rainsford Farm when I drove 100 miles each way, good memories. River deteriorated due to boats in the canal churning up sediment that covered the gravels / weed and otters.
I fish my local river (The Wye) like this, proper way to fish. That`s a lovely thru action rod you have there!

Very nice video, 👍🏻 it’s a lovely way to fish a river. I do that with a 14ft Dave Harrell Match and a Young’s Purist 2, but so far only for grayling.

chicklechives They're fine with guitars, but I believe it's been scientifically proven that they get nervous when they hear a banjo!

What rod and reel combo?
The reel is a JW Youngs BJ and the rod is a TFG barbel rod
