Hey everyone,
Thank you all for making 2023 such an amazing year. I wanted to do one big last project before the end of the year. Hope you all enjoy! The mods I’m using in Skyrim as well as Morrowind are listed in the description along with today’s tracklist.
I also wanted to send my condolences to the fans, friends, colleagues and loved ones of Mitten Squad. Without Paul, the passion that many of us have for challenges, limited runs, and other goofy content in BGS games simply doesn’t exist. They were a brilliant writer, a dedicated worker, and endlessly creative.
Mitten Squad was a pioneer in this space, and an inspiration to so many of us. We will all miss them dearly

Mitten was the first channel I found years ago that turned me onto Joov, Jabo, and so many others. He may be gone but he’ll never be forgotten. RIP Paul.

He is the reason I truly fell in love with fallout and the elder scrolls series and is the reason I'm here on this video. me and my cat used to cuddle up and watch his latest upload together, and now it just feels weird to no longer expect a new video to come out. I recently started a new playthrough of Fo4 in his memory

Paul was an absolute gem of a person. Once on discord he told me that he “bet I look like Ratatouille”, and I still have no idea what he meant. It’s plagued my mind for years, and I know deep in my fingernails, that that’s exactly how he’d want to be remembered.
Rat like facial features is how I’d interpret that.
Long nose, small eyes, pointy face, big ears.
Small, hairy and only able to achieve anything when on top of a man. In all seriousness, thanks for sharing a fun memory of Paul

I just want to thank you for the memorial for Paul. He was a huge part of my life and has inspired me to do things and try things in ways that other people hadn't and I have missed his content terribly the last year+ and will miss him and everything he makes. For the 1st time in my life I know what its like to have felt the impact of the creations of someone that you have never met and the fallout of losing someone you've never known and it is devastating. No matter his personal struggles he was a great creator, a funny dude and one of the best, original, creators in the challenge running scene and I hope, wherever he may be, he understands that he was loved and he will always be remembered.

I honestly don't have the words to describe how good of a creator Paul was. Between his choices of games and his all too genuine personality, he took an over saturated genre and made it his own. From his witty turns of phrase to taking potshots at himself, he turned an otherwise copy/paste niche into a genuine product of passion. It's utterly heartbreaking that he's gone, but going just as his career truly began is about as Paul as it could get. Rest in peace you beautiful bastard.

@@mushroomsrcool1449 It's not a happy time for everyone. There's people out there who don't sit under a pretty tree, don't get presents from anyone, and don't celebrate the holidays with anyone. And among those, there are many who don't spend those times like that by choice. Always good to remember that having all those nice parts of life is a privilege, and not a given.

I prefer his less-video game & media focused stuff. He does do a decent amount of research when discussing things that are based on disputed facts
Man, what a way to find out that one of your favorite content creators from a few years ago has passed. I'm truly sorry for him, his friends, and his family, especially having to deal with this during the holiday. I can only hope he knew how many smiles he put on people's faces before he went.

The only reason I even found your channel Joov, was because of Paul. His videos opened me to a whole genre of CZcams Fallout/Skyrim videos.
My heart shattered hearing about his passing and I pray that whatever afterlife there is, he gets to rest knowing how much joy and love and entertainment he has brought to us all.

The family reunion quest would be a great enemies to lovers/friends story, like Tom is trying to follow you to kill you, but he has to fight on your side sometimes to make sure nothing else but him can kill you, so he ends up saving your life multiple times actually and then he realizes maybe he doesnt need to kill you and maybe he even grew to have feelings for you during your journey
Rest in peace Paul, he was the first peron i watched making bethseda challenges and how i got into challenge videos and found Joov, Jabo and Nerbit. He may be gone but he will be never forgotten and I will cherish every mermory i have of watching his video. RIP Paul

Paul is who got me into challenge videos in the first place and opened my eyes to how fun a game can be if you put an arbitrary limit on yourself to make it more interesting and the huge amount of other challenge runners on the platform. May he rest in peace.
It's all thanks to Mitten Squad that I even found this channel... I can hardly believe that I'll never hear his voice in a new video. You will be missed, Paul. He may be gone from this plain of existence, but he still remains within all our hearts and here, on CZcams, as more than just a memory. As someone who does not enjoy Skyrim but greatly enjoys Fallout, I still enjoy your Skyrim content a whole damn lot. I suppose Skyrim just doesnt do it for me. But you, like many others in the community of challenge runs have given it a great deal of effort to bring out very enjoyable content for sure, stuff that will always bring me back, not because of the game but due to your own drive and passion and personality. Keep up the good joob... I mean work. Keep up the good work Joov!

I never knew that Mitten was gone, as its been a while since I've done any Elder Scrolls related anything. His channel was one of the first challenge based channels that i had encountered, and one of the best.
Damn, didn't know Paul passed on, I was looking forward to him getting better and coming back again, his Twitter post last month gave me alot of hope for just that. Rest in Peace Paul, we'll all miss you, and I know the afterlife is where the real game begins.
If you have an xbox 360 and a kinect, the 360 version of Skyrim uses the kinect mic to let you shout the skyrim shouts and activate them in the game. Might be a fun idea?
To be fair, Ahlam isn't having it with Nazeem. She is cheating on him with the guy at the Kynareth temple. If you loot him, he has a key to Nazeem and Ahlam's house that wasn't included in the final build of the game.
Without Paul I’d have never found any of these challenge runners and it actually all started from his beating gta5 with only a pistol and it lead me here,to jabo and Darkviper AU. RIP Paul and I’m proud to share a name with you.

I came to this video to have a laugh, I’ve spent the first 20 minutes crying about Paul, it’s strange when a CZcamsr passes, everyone involved are strangers, but unlike with the passing of a celebrity, it hits close, closer then it ever should, but CZcamsrs have a way of feeling like a part of your life. Now, all that’s left are the videos, in a way, Paul has become a digital ghost.

I think Paul’s passing hits particularly hard because we know how long and hard he was struggling. The man had a seemingly very tormented life, and I was one of the many people that quietly hoped that things would start improving for him.

The loss of Paul has hit me real hard I wont lie... but your videos are a comfort and awe inspiring, as in your own way you've made your channel based off Mitten Squad's originality. You have your own unique way of going about your own challenges and thats refreshing.
I miss Paul so much. I loved him dearly. He helped me through hard times... it hurts knowing i cant help him, or hear his voice beautifully eloquate cleverly written lines that are bound to please and bring laughter.

@@firewolf0065 I was told quite literally in the last hour or so getting up to it that we just wouldn't be celebrating until more people could show up, so instead of Christmas we're just celebrating New Years. Apparently everyone already discussed it and just....forgot to tell me until I asked when I should drive over.

A challenge idea i thought of right now could be interesting.
The challenge is forge any type of weapon and you can give it any enchantment you want, the challenge is whatever weapon you make you have to make a good story for it to give it a name.
Essentially build a weapon and play skhrim with it to make it have lore. Like the type of weapons you find in quests, nake your own.
Could be fun.

He was the first channel that did this sort of content that I found, I remember going to his channel almost every night cause he was so calming to listen to. I will miss him (even more)
Fun Fact: You can romance Nazeem's wife, which leads to her killing him in order for her to be single so you can marry her. 10+ years of playing, and I didn't even know he was married.
Thats why he's normally invincible. I knew about him being married since about 2014 2015 just didn't know about this quest

found this channel a couple of days ago and I had very low expectations, but now this is literally all I can watch. these videos scratch an itch I didn't know I had, and joov puts so much work into these videos. love this channel

Paul made incredible videos, I’m glad to see others here who also enjoyed their work, thank you Joov for adding a note to him. I’m not huge into modding my games, but I would love to see Mitten Squad modded into Sovngarde amongst the other great hero’s of Skyrim!
