I would understand if morde inted his lane twice or something. But he actually had just a 1v1 laning phase (+rengo later on).
I'm also extremely easy to tilt, usually I don't give a fuck if my jungler is inting unless he starts to destroy my lane on purpose - that's the moment I go afk.

I have been perm'd on 4 accounts so far - all of them were for chat.
Anything beyond chat - you can do in game and you won't be punished for it.
Hell even some people make videos about how they can go 30 games of 0/40 streak on rankeds literally running it down nunu before they will earn some consequences :)
Going afk / playing idle / griefing ur teammates will never be punished in this game - because there is no human involved in this game to check ur action about that.

I've actually got banned for intentional feeding by not actually intentionally feeding. It was a game which was literally a 2v5. 3 people left. So I decided I will keep fighting at bot lane for fun. They kept tower diving me and I was getting a few kills back. I finished the game 4/13/1 in 15 mins and then got banned for 2 weeks for inting. The game was literally a 2v5. I was having fun out of a bad situation riot.......

Actually no. At that point, afker’s don’t care about winning, they just want to inflict as much toxicity and pain on to their teammates for as long as possible. And it’s a win-win for them, since if the 4v5 somehow pulls the win out their ass, the “afker” wasn’t technically afk according to the game so they’ll get credit for the win too. The only remedy is to permanently ban people like that

Can we also talk about how one of the loading screen tips says "if someone makes you uncomfortable in a game, report them!" and then unless that person has thrown out 4 slurs over 6 minutes and confessed to a double homicide your report isn't going anywhere.
Making me uncomfortable isn't even something I report for, I just mute them. I only report for actual afk/inters

It does not check what you write, only how much. If you are active and communicate a lot with the team (in a team-based strategy game, kinda important) you will say enough things that trigger the bot, even if they are well intentioned. Even positively phrased tips will sooner or later count as flaming, and when you get reported and the bot sees you wrote like 300 lines in chat, you have no chance of getting out without punishment. If you say 20 times "hey, thanks for ganking, maybe next time go around so we can get the kill, even if he flashes" you are more likely to get punisehd than the guy who writes nothing all game, goes 0-17 and then says "kys fgot ngga. I fck yur mum".

That happened to me. The enemy said kys. I typed "it is NEVER ok to say kys", the other 8 agreed with me, the troll shut up, we reported him after the match but had a good game and started being supportive of each other and having fun. I was autobanned, the troll wasn't. When I contacted Riot, they said the algorithm was just "super aggro" with me (they didn't comment on the troll who wasn't banned). I was at 107 of 108 games for the final spirit blossom petal, and Rito didn't give me it despite being wrongly banned. They restored my honor though, like that means anything beyond a splash that can be taken away for anything.
Also, they constantly and consistently have told me to use /muteall. When I asked them, "Hey, people are toxic in lobby chats too, pls mute those," they said they don't have that feature. When I said, "Hey, I've muted my team before and honored a player only to find out after the match they were toxic in chat all game, and thinking back some of their plays suggest this was true despite me being muted. I can no longer in good faith use honors, because I will not honor anyone who flames. Please remove it." Again, they don't have that feature. A multi-billion dollar game that has dealt with toxic honors in the Korea server and more doesn't have features to disable all forms of chat, nor to opt out of honors, or slaps in the face when teammates honor you and you didn't earn it because you didn't communicate beyond pings (which everyone mutes anyway).
Let that sink in how much they actually care about the quality of our games. I report a mundo with a name like "freelp" for dancing off screen during team fights, he even said "maybe you'll get lucky and i'll be your enemy next time" and absolutely nothing from their end. I was demoted over being queued with trolls like that. Or, better yet, the three matches before promos were smooth sailing, all matched against people lower than me with people my rank on my team. Then in promos? For example I'm low elo trash I know, but is there not a team diff when our top diff was Bronze 2 to unranked, their bot was both Bronze 3 where I was Bronze 4 with 95lp and my adc was Iron 1 and their demotion shield was expiring? Oh, and jg went 16/0/1 to my jg's 0/8/0 by 15.
I love this game. It's endlessly strategic and with a good group it's amazingly fun. The problem is you're fighting every system and people taking advantage of said systems to get away with intentional abuse. I fail to see how that's fair or productive for fostering a healthy playerbase... because it isn't. The trolls pay for skins and make new accounts, if they ban trolls it's a money problem for them. So we're left to cope gambling our progress on an unfeeling algorithm and other humans who may want to watch us fail, and they're willing to pay lp for that short lived abuser's high.
Players who feel the need to 'punish' others are the absolute worst and are utter psychopaths, I remember losing a ranked game because our Malphite top decided to punish us because our team took too many kills away from him so he soft inted until we lost and the worst part is riot did absolutely nothing about it

Me-who play co-op vs AI only: they called me the mad man
It's fun and there's no toxicity. But you get to a point where you are too good for the AI but not good enough for PVP against golds and plats (who want to play blind pick and are shocked that you aren't on their level). But yes, co-op vs. AI, or simply custom game can help a bit when you get tilted in normal PVP.

riot doesn't permanently ban toxic players because toxic players still give them money
a conscious cloud - It depends on severity and multiple offensives because if I remember correctly, T1 got permabanned on multiple accounts before getting banned for ban evasion I think. First time is a slap on the wrist and it progressively gets worse. Not sure though as I’ve never gotten banned. I know some bans can last days, weeks, or even a year or so.
They really gotta throw in something to punish people who go AFK to spite someone. One coming to mind because of one game I play called Survarium where it has a feature where if a player doesn't go into get any points (Get 5+ points and you're safe.) Means that player loses 5000 of their silver. Doing more of it leads to them being put on cool down before finally being able to jump into a match. It can also do Riot good to have the reporting system to cover players who don't help their teams IE, someone staying in their base to spite people.
@@iB0NKERS the first 2 bans are 14 day bans. 3rd ban is a perma ban. But you are allowed to make a new account. It's just that account that is gone.

Ironically, the better you get at the game, the more triggering this game becomes. I climbed from silver to diamond in a span of 5 years and was always motivated to climb so I can get better quality games. But it doesn't matter. Platinum is the worst elo to be in followed by silver then diamond and lastly gold. Gold was always chill and fun to be in.
Tbh I find extremely easy to climb out of silver & gold - usually the most chill elo unless opponents are smurfing.
When it comes to plat & diamond - this is where the tragedy begins. Flame, afk, griefers and other bullshit that makes the game literally unwinnable.
Not to mention meta slaves & assasin otps :(
This why I've decided to say fucking learning the game, I'm just gonna be good enough to not int while playing off meta builds with friends. Off meta builds are the only way in my opinion to have fun in this piece of shit of a game.

Know this is off recent but I think you play in NA right? Because in my games in EUW, where people are a little more informed so they are better than the rank they actually are, I find low gold, high silver games are the most toxic (I'm just bad at the game but I know lot of people that are Plat or higher and they say the game is more fun and playable because there aren't often trolls). One of the reasons as to why almost everyone you'll meet is toxic in the game, is because they're too comfortable, knowing that there are zero repercussions for their actions, because Riot isn't going to punish them because they're too lazy to do so.
Most of the people you'll get paired up with are whiny cry babies with close minded personalities that can't admit that it's their own fault. And they feel the need to "punish" the teammates who are actually trying to win out of their own selfishness. Not only in League, but you'll see these types of people in almost every other multiplayer game you'll find. Humanity is crap.

I miss the Tribunal. Everyone would do it if Riot would give some rewards for it. You should be Gold+. You should have no bans on your account and it must be at least 1 years old with 500+ PVP matches and must be recently active in the past month. If you choose 70%+ the right action you'll get some RP every month. If your rating is below 40% you'll get 1 month ban from the Tribunal.

It seems that Riot is keen on downgrading the options for dealing with players' troubles in the game by removing Tribunal, a system akin to CSGO's Overwatch, and then by removing the forums altogether. Riot seems to really dislike the players' complaints and takes steps to not want to deal with them anymore.
This is an older video now, but I'm so glad you put these people on blast like that. AFK'ing and just straight up threatening someone else's RANKED League of Legends experience purposely should hold the same weight as inting, cheating, DDOS'ing and the like. Most especially repeat offenders. When grinding, this is something you'll see much too often and 420% should be punished. Anywhere between 5%-10% of ranked games end up like this in my experience. (8 years?)
@RiotGames please, please, please continue to work on assisting us in improving the community you helped make for us. Give ranked bans. Lower XP gain, increase queue times.. punish these offenders. Normals are one thing, but people truly and wholeheartedly DEDICATE A LOT OF TIME TO YOUR RANKED LEAGUE OF LEGENDS EXPERIENCE, in attempt to climb the "ladder". Absolutely NONE of this behavior should be upon a single rung upon said "competitive" ladder.

Same with the other plays. He usually just misjudged his health a little bit. He was actually playing Kled like you're supposed to, but needs a little more experience to know when to keep some distance.
I wholeheartedly agree with your conclusion. Kled tried his best in lane and Mord might have had a bad game. People acting like Xerath is actually not too uncommon even as you climb higher and I believe it really needs to be addressed. Nice video Rav and gl in solo queue.

honestly i had less afkers and flamers in my time in iron/bronze than my time in silver when climbing from iron to gold cuz apparently if you missed a season it auto sets you in iron now.

I totally agree with the ending where you mentioned how riot needs to fix this issue. The interface should be advanced enough where if it detects certain phrases pre-game the player is booted out. Real players would never joke about these issues and would not suffer through this system. Secondly riot can implement that towards in game as well where before minions spawn if certain phrases are detected the team has the ability to vote on whether they want to re-queue.

I get such trolls almost every game... Going afk because they don't like some pick, trolling, feeding, flaming.... And Riot expects you to stay completely calm ofc - because if you get tilted and say something wrong you get a chat restriction pretty fast... And aaaaaaall your honor instantly gone. The timing on this video is exquisite. Just yesterday, I had an Anivia mid who decided we were going to lose five minutes into the game. They spent the entire game trying to forfeit, hiding, afk farming in the jungle, and telling us how much we sucked and that we should give up. Our team taking three Barons later and no towers left in the game, a good teamfight breaks out and we're winning. For Anivia to decide to come out of the jungle and ult to steal a quadra from our ADC. Oh well, kills are kills and we ace the team. We win the game. After the game, this Anivia went on about wanting our whole team to thank them for the carry and how we would have been completely fucked without them, and threatened to report me for calling them a narcissist.
Even though having an attitude like that is reportable, obviously Riot couldn't be bothered to do anything to that player who nearly threw our game by not contributing.
Dude anivia could actually be a bomb mid with some ganks early on. I end up carrying those games (if i do it's all thanks to my supp for keeping my squishy adc ass alive)

I started playing about 6 months ago and honestly....even when i lose i always win. When i lose a game my team gets toxic and just provides easy entertainment. I was constantly bullied and harassed in my middle school and high school life so i can handle league toxicty and turn it into comedy lol

I always play rank up to Gold then stop, and this season when I did, it felt like I completed a chore more than anything else. Solo q is just straight unrewarding w a game that's so team reliant, especially in Silver where it's legit a gamble on your teammates and opponents.
This is why i havent touched ranked in years. I play games for fun and not to take it so seriously.
the only way to improve this community is to change the lp system. Don't make everyone lose same amount of lp and don't reward the winners same amount of lp. Make it skill based, like you have the champion grade at the end of the game. They already track so much of your performance (the things you find at profile>stats). You hard carry, good score, dmg, vision score, cs, map control, objectives, and good macro,
-and you win the game, get a greater amount of lp (20 - 30)
-and you lose, lose a smaller amount of lp (2-6)
You play really bad, you die alot, small amount of cs, no vision score etc
-and you win the game, get a really small amount of lp (2-6)
-and you lose, lose a way more lp (20-30)
This is the only real way to cure the community, since those who wanna climb have some protection against the trolls. And it incentivizes people to play better, and focus on themselves. And also only then it can really be called SOLOQ, cuz it depends on you alone.
And the good vs bad stats in relation to your current tier/the next tier. Comparing wins with wins and loses with loses.

@@skelet8337 I can't speak for plat and above. But between Bronze through Gold, Bronze was by far the worst. People may be toxic in Gold, but you're more likely to encounter people who rage quit or run it down in bronze. Not saying it doesn't happen in Gold. Just in my experience, bronze has higher odds of that shit and its just more painful to get through.

Yeah No I literally had a games a few days ago where all 4 of my team mates disconnected after pressing ff at 15. Two days after two people afk in one day. This is just the afks lets not begin with the toxicity because I was playing Ahri, my twitch and jg fed zoe 2 kills early game and still expect me to dominate lane then flame me. Demoted from plat 2 to plat 3 from people being overly toxic and afking
I would say ppl in plat and diamond rage in a more sensible way.
People in anywhere below gold does not fully comprehend game. That is why they r below gold. They only flames over kills and stuffs for that is all they know. People in gold usually has identity issue, they think they completely understand the game, show no respect to meta and do weird thing like Mordekaiser jg, while their micro is still pepega (like the top lane match up here in this video, both players are just as retarded). They rage so they can shift blame to others, so that they can still lie to themselves later on and think themselves smart.
Plat and Diamond players are a lot more different, they now understand majority of the game, their macro and micro is much better. They show respect to meta, counter-picking and such. They rage over things like “picking akali and somehow loses to Jax” “shoving non stop as a Darius without sums” “having less CS than enemy Kassadin” “got a lane priority but show up later than the land opponent”. These rage are a lot more comprehensive, and it makes sense because the one that is raging isn’t at fault.
I barely however, see people in master+ rage. Their micro and macro are good enough, those who pick off meta champion are usually one trick pony who you can still trust their experience would fill the gap. They no longer care about their lp as much as players in other rank. Most people here are actually “play for fun”. They do rage however, over still riot sht like autofill and stuffs, because only them are the one that is affected, and they are affected hard.
My adc Ashe told me she was going to feed because she “hates brand and swain as supports” after the fact I picked swain support.... she went 1/10 and we lost. Just because she didn’t like swain supports. Which I have a 55% w/r so idk what her problems against swain supports. I wish league made a server just for toxic people so us regular players could enjoy the game.

As someone who knows the basics of gameplay (I play Smite so I understand about 80% of league, just different terms mostly) and only knows about 20 champions beyond just their name, the descriptions of the action in this game was highly entertaining if a bit confusing, but I could watch videos like this forever, it's just too good!

As others have said in the replies (which holy cow, 50 as of writing this), if I'm personally facing against them then I can learn things with how they play, but I don't play the roles they queue up for, for multiple reasons... I don't enjoy the solo roles, I don't like the pool of champions, I don't know all the various ways to route jungle for every jungler, and with support I know for a *fact* I'll get my requested role in champ select rather than being autofilled every other match. More consistent gameplay, more consistent learning opportunities.
Also, I just have REEEEALLY shitty luck...I was with a Kog'Maw that ragequit at first blood, cause he thought our jungle stole 1st blood when Kog'Maw got it himself. Said "Good job Sylas :D" and disconnected for the rest of the game. Can't come back from that as a solo lane Lulu, vs an Ashe/Leo bot w/ a hecarim camping bot.

People smurfing on their main champ is kinda cancer, but if I wanna learn a champion I never played and I play it in my peak elo, that is borderline trolling.
That's very understandable, if they want to play on Smurfs for content at least play drafts.
There are not too many smurfs in gold elo because if you go 10/10 in placements you already have plat mmr and you see silver accounts on platinum games. High platinum-Mid diamond has the most smurfs in the game from my experience, almost every game has a duo smurf who is gold 4 playing in a diamond game.
only solution is to get good and climb out of smurf elo
Smurfing is annoying because when you queue up at any elo, if you’re solo, you have a 4/9 likelihood to get a smurf on your team, and a 5/9 that they’re on the other team. If you and your duo arent smurfing, it turns into 3/8 for your team and 5/8 their team. It kills the game for the average fan base especially when games last over 30 minutes
The problem with LoL and these encounters is the person trolling your game probably was trolled the last game and now he is perpetuating the system since he is queing triggered.

I will vouch for morde jungle, that shit kills in pisslo, hes my most played jungler with a 57% winrate over 83 games and im hardstuck

The guy in this video played 5 games of jungle Morde and won 4 of them. Not a representative sample size, to be sure, but it's something. He also has a 67% overall winrate on Morde (over 70ish games). Seems to be working for him well enough. One bad game, and thats with räthe afk xerath on team, so harder to get back into the game when things go bad early...
I can fucking play lux jungle and stomp in low elo. Meta doesn't matter the lower you go. This gives newer players ample to time to focus on improving their personal skills instead of following the meta, until they reach around gold-plat. But alas, they don't get this and just whine the moment they see someone pick a champ not used by pros. That's why so many are hardstuck trying to ride the coattails of meta picks and builds, when the problem is that they just haven't practiced enough.

Installed again, played 4 games, remembered the reason I stopped playing, uninstalled. The shitgibbons that play this game killed it. Imagine having 3 deaths while your team has 10 + each, and when you point that out to them, they respond with "0 influence". It blows my mind that these "people" think inting counts as being useful.

The way that this week alone I’ve had a top laner just straight up say “ if I die three times I’m going to afk” and so they inted three times and afk. Then I get a jungler who buys boots of speed first item instead of a jg item and runs it down mid (my lane) to just int a yasuo. Then after that there was a top jg duo who both went teleport smite, and just tp into random lanes and inted. I still have yet to get an instant feedback report from any of them.
Nothing happens to people who play badly.
They have to be toxic in chat.
Reporting someone for intentionally feeding is a complete waste of time because it won't make a difference. They have to go afk, flame, or a combo of the two in order to get punished.
Also 1 report from someone in the game is just as good as 5. The punishment system is automated and doesn't put more emphases on someone who gets reported by multiple people. So it isn't worth your time to try to ask for reports.
This game is fun. It's a lot more fun when you ignore the idiots, mute them, and just do what you can to try to win.
Those people will get stuck in Iron hell and you'll climb.

It really is a problem when more than 50% of my losses are from games where I am playing 4v5 or have someone inting on purpose, and then have people say "just improve your own skill", that's kind of hard when I am mostly playing against fed enemies or with an afk jungler.
I report everyone who ints and trolls, which is A LOT, yet I only get notified about 1 or 2 penalties a week.
This is how I play the game now;
Step 1; mute everyone, step 2; play your own lane without having any faith in your team, step 3; if the score is 2 v 16 after 10 minutes, I usually go into playing passively and I just wait to lose.
