- Today I address some issues and fixes for the Axial SCX24 Crawler. From suspension to weight and even lights, we start the quest to making this Bronco a true crawling beast!
I also introduce the start of the crawler course! Cant wait to lay the foundation for this project!

Yeah awesome you could use serial boxes to make the hills once you spray with the foam you wouldn’t see the boxes, that’s what a friend of mine used turned out awesome. A little rope bridge are pretty cool obstacle. Can’t wait to see what you do with your course I’ll be watching for 👍👍😎 until next time peace and chicken grease 👍👍😁

Those shocks are also crap, get the injora oil filled ones or get double barrels and change the springs for the stock springs
The wheels ate a great swap
I'd also recommend the brass diff covers and the brass steering knuckles
One thing you'll definitely need is a metal steering link
You can adjust the preload with the stock shocks as well. I know they aren't threaded but if you move them down the stopper will. Stay

I would add upgraded steering servo and metal steering links with the added weight and traction
Ive added upgraded steering linkage but still need a upgraded server. Surprisingly, the stock servo is still moving along great but an upgrade is on the list for sure! Have a great one and thanks for checking out the channel!
I saw a later video and it looks like you need to put the softer springs in those shocks cause you're not getting the flex you need. just for some ideas you can watch 2fmrc, Miguel Cortez, ccxrc, upper left Rc, and my favorite channel is cape crawlers! I have a channel but I'm not very big and don't have the money to do much, but I work with what I can!
MIP’s .050 are the best buy at once, for six years now still ain’t never stripped a screw. I have them for all my 1/10 scale just picked up the .050 appreciate you sharing love learning new things, I did just subscribe follow for more till next time peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍

the way the lights are factory is how a vehicle lights work fog lights can be turned on before head lights great video helped a lot

I bought some injora shocks like those for my scx24 to atv build and they are much better though the top stiffness springs are way overkill even with an action figure on top. I had to assemble the shocks though which was an exercise in fine motor skills.

Yeah the Hot racing shocks work great I have them on my white Jeep first 1/24 scale I bought then the gladiator also the red deadbolt don’t run that one much don’t know why, and now to the Broncos the red one and the gray one the gray one going to stay stock except steering servo and Bead lock rims and pro line Hyrax tires that’s where it’s staying but the red she’s over the top

Yeah me too I did the same thing to both of my Broncos switch the wires around rather have headlights on all the time and turn the bumper lights on and off which now turns my tail lights also on and off
Makes the most sense for me to have the headlights as primary!
Hi there, excellent video and I appreciate all the details of the parts and what they weigh vs stock! On the shocks, I wanted to ask why you chose the hot racing compared to say Injora? There aren't many shock comparisons online for the Axial 1/24. Thank you again and looking forward to more videos!
Thanks for checking out the channel! No specific reason for the brand choice on this one. These just happen to be the ones I grabbed at the hobby shop that day. I do have some really nice Injora shocks that I will be introducing but that is on a custom build project that I havent released yet as I have many projects currently in the works for the channel. With that said, Im always changing things out from time to time as I like seeing differences in performance, looks, weight and such with all parts so I will eventually be changing these out again anyways! I have one of these and striped it down to the frame removed all the plastic parts and replaced it with metal shock s swing arms even metal wheels it's on bad ass rc truck

Very cool where did you get the APS tires and SSD wheels from? On the lights I put a Y harness very small one to connect head lights and running lights together which means you can turn them off as well but now both sets go on off and flash together! 👍

I just picked up a bronco the other day and I am looking for wheels and tires but I don't onow what ones are the right size, I really like the rims you got so I might end up getting them but I do t know what tires to get.
Edit: I'm also looking for shocks that are a bit longer than stock

How has the extra wheel weight affected the moto or gears? Surely its gotta wear it down faster.
Hey Anthony! So far so good. I havent had any issues with motor or anything yet due to the extra weight. Ive been running the truck alot but its been running great! Thanks for checking it out!

I picked these up from my local Hobby Town! Didnt want to wait for shipping so headed to the hobby shop and they had these in stock! I really like how they look on the truck... Thanks for checking out the channel!
If they wanted to make the bronco a hard body and not the jeeps... they should have gave the bronco ifs while they were at it js it woulda been cool if we had a hard body wrangler🤗

Two screws pull the body mount out Of the way much easier to work on

Wouldn't running more flex I'm the tires actually increase grip? That's how real life off roading works
Yes, and the new tires still have plenty of it! The stock tires are made of absolute garbage rubber and the wheels are plastic so that combo didnt do anything for the trucks climbing and traction! I needed the weight and grip in order to climb anything. The new tires are made of a nice compound rubber but still allows to flex but supports the vehicle correctly! But that is rotating mass so it will stress the stock motor
So far so good. Ive been using the truck alot since the upgrade and so far everything is still functioning great. I do plan on upgrading the motor and steering servo in the near future as well! Have a great one!

First of all, thanks for watching the vids! On the wheels and tires, I found them in my local hobby shop a while back even before I started filming for the channel so unfortunately I didnt think about recording the part numbers and such! Thats my bad but will make sure to provide those types of details in the future! If I come across them again in my hobby shop, I will make sure to snap a pic and post to help you out!
