Sometimes you really want to shout out loud "WTF" at what is happening to our heritage, Loco's being moth balled with hardly any working hours! Can anyone explain why ? I would Love to know another cracking video great work, well done 10/10
hi mate great videos at crewe depot .how did you get pictures in gresty bridge &basford hall did you just drive in .LoL...great to see freight line at rat hole still in use great vids.....
It's a shame to see 58s 90s and so on sitting rusting away to scrap when all you see now is American/Canadian 66s all look the same, nothing British Rail look anymore that's how I've lost interest now
Unfortunately it’s economics. The class 58’s, 87’s, 90’s etc were relatively small classes 35-50 or so of each. The Class 66’s over 400 of em makes more economical sense for maintenance bigger spares pool, cheaper parts. The class 67’s slough a small fleet have parts commonality with the 66. Although I like you thought BR had more personality. It’s sad the 60 fleet is so depleted.
Not good for the nerves around 5.00. A track gang wandering along the line with their backs to the traffic direction, loaded with bulky kit - and your next shot's a 66 coming up the same road...!
Lots of freight liners abound...wonderful. Do they still serve Holyhead??
Very sad to see those 90s sat there deteriorating. Which one was still wearing RFD livery?
Great visit to Crewe Station and the depots nice one Kevin.... Derek.
+DJB Trains thx Derek
Great video Kevin...Loads to see....Cheers...Steve.~:)
