Happy Friday A Main crew!! I bought the Trail Finder! Just for the IFS!! Took if it crawln, where I take my Capra...During 4th run,I broke front diff, 12$s ,& time..easy r&r..I built a long front skid plate, from bumper to under dif plate!! Love,& have you noticed the nobby click from tires, while driving on sidewalks??? Happy weekend you all!!
You produced another excellent video with very well done explanation of the trucks' good points and bad point. They both appeared to perform very well. The trim tape looked great.
Great review Brett. The tape makes it look so much better. Good job. I don't know why TA went with the gold wheels on a blue truck, looks goofy imo. Black wheels would have been so much nicer looking .
Now that you mention it, it does have Subaru colors! It thought it was only to make the colors pop a little more; higher contrast to catch eyes. Thanks for thumbs up on the trim tape Roloreo! -Brett
Yeah, good eye. We went to upper upper bidwell park and walked on lower trail and then we crossed the road there to big chico creek. It's a gorgeous place! But it's been really hot lately, the creek water was pretty warm too surprisingly. Did you live here? -Brett
I did live in Chico back in 01 to 04 while going to CSU… bidwell is one of my favorite spots! Been back a few times to visit AMain, but haven’t been to bidwell, might have to hit it up with my trx4 next trip out! 😎
^WC is right, there is a clear body available (ASC42166): www.amainhobbies.com/element-rc-knightrunner-body-set-clear-325mm-wheelbase-asc42166/p1353332 -Brett
Great looking rig. Only thing I would do different is making the front skid plate flush with the bumper. And that custom rear axle cover replicate a very bad design in real life. That flat cover makes the diff oil fume badly and over heating the drivetrain, instead of circulating smouthly.
@@MikeMolden £400 in the UK.! That's pretty expensive when you consider it's only a single-speed transmission and doesn't have inner arches.... But I still want one, especially in this blue & gold.! It's drop dead gorgeous.!!!
It's actually quite inexpensive for a crawler at this level with this much detail. The conversion kit for independent suspension for a straight axle rig would really cost you. You get A LOT for your money with this truck!
Hey man. I noticed when you took the tire off, it had the factory team brass hex adapters on it. Did that come stock? Or did you add that upgrade to it? Or is that just a new plastic hex color? Lol
We didn't add anything in that area. The hex on the axle is black plastic and the hex hub on the wheel is plastic I believe, although in that gold'ish color. -Brett
will you do a body swap on the ecto, putting the knightrunner body on it, since they had the same wheelbase, just curious what it take to convert an ecto to a knightrunner just by doing body swap,
Good idea, hadn't thought of that. It does seem to fit on there, although the shock towers on the Ecto sit further back because of the trailing arms, so you might have to do a little trimming on the Knight Runner cab. -Brett
@@latefangs423 Because of where the shocks mount on the trailing arms, it's best to use the Ecto towers with the trailing arms. The body trimming needed looks minimal when we put the body on there, trimming might not even be needed actually; it was a rough fitting we tried. -Brett
Don't get me wrong I want one but don't like the chassis that much and I'd hate to pay that price to upgrade the electronics right away im happy with my redcat scout ii axe edition I need to look now to see if tou guys have done one of those yet
I just came across this videos, and I have no clue about anything RC but it is very intriguing to me why wouldn’t this cars not have or be heavier ? Wouldn’t that make them handle much more realistically? I’d be happy if someone with experience explain to me why they seem too light for their scale compared to a real car
I have a Summit. It has independent suspension but I wouldn’t call it a crawler. It’s better suited as a basher and a trail truck that has light crawling abilities.
Parts literally fly off this truck going down the trail. It looks good, but buyer beware. Don at Associated support did not honor warrenty. He was rude then lied and said I cursed him out so he would have a excuse to hang up on me. So no help from Associated.
Not a very good video the terrain was just too rough for the vehicles get real man keep it in scale makes a lot better video I would never abuse one of My RCS like that
I bought the enduro sendaro two years ago. I think the element rc trucks are awesome. Excellent value with all the features.
Best Knightrunner video on CZcams! Thanks Brett!
It's a nice model that's well made. For a second I really thought they were real cars😳It's so realistic and incredible to watch!
The movement tells the story...😁
Trim tape looks good man
Trim tape looks 🔥!
Don’t scratch the paint! Lol 😂! Love the door pinstripe, really good look 👀! Not sure I could do as well!

I fell in love with the Knightrunner when it came out. Now it's happening all over again. ❤️ 🔥
You produced another excellent video with very well done explanation of the trucks' good points and bad point. They both appeared to perform very well. The trim tape looked great.
Great vid Brett! The Knightrunner is a great rig and is one of my favorites in my fleet!
The runner is smooth with the setup it has over terrain..👍
One more excellent video mate!nothing but perfection in terms of entertainment and information..kudos
Nice one Brett, one of these in 18 or 1/24 would be sick!
That is so SICK! Definitely next on my list! I love scale looks. Great video, Brett.
I’m impressed & I’ve been looking at this blue version for awhile now but it’s the performance that just may sell me.
I've been looking at the Knightrunner and Ecto for a while. I noticed that Club5 has some really awesome metal parts for the Element lineup.
Like button selected. Good video man. This truck just might go on the wish list.
man that makes me want one, great review.
Trim tape is awesome
Glad you like it!

Awesome review!!! I want that ECTO!!!👍👍👍
Great video, love your website so much cool products and shipping is fast lol keep up the work guys! 💯🤘🏻🤘🏻
That's a great looking truck!
Very nice truck! I just got the Senton 3s from you guys. That truck will be my next trail rig!
Nice, congrats! The Senton is one fun truck!
-Brett
Looking Good 👍 really like the New body 🤘😄💯💥
Man I'd love to get one of those.
Sweet truck.
nice scale looking
It's a well thought out design.
😯 Thank you for the video.
Nice RC 👍👍👍
cool rc and review,nice run
It look amazing
I love this truck
Cool!
Love it
very cool
Wow very nice
Great video
Hello from southeast alaska that is a sweet looking truck bro
Greetings! I bet you have all the sunlight you need for endless crawling.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies no it gets dark about 9 pm here. But still get crawling in
It’s defiantly a trail truck and not a rock crawler. Still looks sweet.
Cool truck
IFS for rc trucks works well for traction.
Nice truck
Wow nice rc car my friend🤩🤩🤩🤩
some trim tape around the fenders would complete it!
Great review Brett. The tape makes it look so much better. Good job. I don't know why TA went with the gold wheels on a blue truck, looks goofy imo. Black wheels would have been so much nicer looking .
I think they where going for the old Subaru WRC look.

your exto look good !

I like with out trim tape.
I like trim tape
Got to do the Knight Customs IFS modification
I dig the look 👍 Is there any news on if they plan to release a clear body or are they sticking with pre painted solid colors?
I believe there already is one

Too bad they’re hard to come by right now. I’ve got this exact truck. 2016 Tacoma off-road.
I really love the chassis. I have a Tamiya 2021 Bronco shell I want to put on one, but the wheel base is too long.

So they really got a license for the Flowmaster exhaust but not for the Toyota body? That's a little confusing
Its a lot cheaper to license an exhaust than a whole car, especially with how toyota is nowadays

You might, i think the trx-4 has a wheelbase option that is the same, some more research is required
