  • in this video I am working on a 2006 saab 9- 3 2.8 v6 turbo. I am demonstrating how to modify the car to allow fitment of an upgraded fuel pump. Once the pump is installed you will have to get the car mapped to cater for the change. I use AURA tuning who has the mapping done for this mod and can be found on Facebook

    Great vid and I was curious how you actually unclip the fuel filter strainer with the flat screw driver. I couldn’t seem to separate mine.
    Explanation would be great - thank you.

      It has a grip washer. So a bit of brute force and ignorance

      @@garymgzs280 hahaha nice and I’m assuming you push on it through the slot where you can see it, correct?
      Can the washer be rotated and more like a c/e-clip?

    Hi, very informative video!
    Would you know if the RHD Turbo X has the same floor plan?
    Thanks for your time.

      Turbo x is totally different. You have a saddle tank with 2 senders. So under the bum of the 2 rear seat passengers.

    Can't you de-pin the connector so no butt connections required?

    Hi, what part of the map needs altering for this pump? As its PWM control i thought it would just automatically run at the required pressure required by the ECU.

    450LHP per hour is that not to much 255LPH is good for a stock engine right?

    • @garymgzs280
      @garymgzs280  Před 5 měsíci +1

      255lph is lower than the stock pump . Stock pump is estimated around 300lph
