Ya well the Traxxas 4x4 vxl doesn’t do 55mph out of box and if you use speed pinion it overheats the esc. Traxxas needs to step in this area
I've been in the rc car game for 30 years. My wife saw this car and said, " Get that for me and I'll go out and play with you". It's ordered! Arrma, your killing me!

my arrma collection is steadily growing...the pink and purple is on pre-order! i cant wait! within the past 2 years i picked RC back up because of an injury from a car accident i lost my other favorite hobby of riding dirt bikes. getting back into RC has really helped with my depression from that but GOD DOES IT HURT THE WALLET...i went from zero cars to a $2000 scx10.2 build, a slash 4x4 vxl build, a slash 2wd drag car build, 2 MST RMX 2.0 drift cars, a 1/28 team associated little guy for bashing around inside the house lol...then i found Arrmas. First one i bought was a Notorious 6S and i instantly fell in love with the arrma quality, that one has full GPM suspension and then i picked up an infraction and that one got the c8 corvette body with a castle 1717 and mmx 8s and then i picked up the Mojave EXB and put a Max6 1650KV combo in it...i decided to pre-order the vorteks so i could have something a little smaller and more manageable to travel with for quick bash sessions

Yea the pink looks fluorescent and contrasts with the dark purple. I believe the green is fluorescent in green/blue and the blue is fluorescent in blue/red

Long story short, I promise...I work for my town's water department, and construction was just completed on a sprawling new treatment facility. Without even realizing it, they also constructed one of the most insane r/c truck racing/ bashing courses you could ever hope for. Tons of brand new paved road that spills into a massive oval turnaround, the center of the oval is a recessed gravel lined resevoir, and the grounds are surrounded by variable sloped hills and embankments.. You have to see it to believe it. I've never owned an r/c truck, I'm a plane guy, but this place made the decision for me, it really did. After looking at a ton of different options I chose the purple/fuscia Vorteks. It just arrived today!!! The WOW factor straight out of the box is insane, what a beautiful truck! Thank you for this awesome video!

I would totally get this, if I didn't already have a Rustler with an MMX 2650kv running on 4S. Arrma has been hitting it out of the park for years now, they keep releasing new and improved RCs year after year at a great value. Meanwhile it took Traxxas ten years to come out with a Stampede 2.0, then they called it the Hoss and jacked up the price by $100.

Great vid. Arrma just keeps on releasing amazing products. I have the BRCC V3 and it is hands down the toughest R/C I have ever owned. This one does look very impressive though. Great that y’all gonna have 2 to compete with each other. Look forward to those vids as well.

I love that it comes in a few color choices, my big rock v3 3s wheelies just like this does. Can run it for a long time on flat ground in a wheelie and does it while moving. Until I loosened up my slipper clutch after breaking 2 axles

We picked up a Big Rock, and it is definitely an awesome RC. Probably 2020 basher King.. but this has gotta take the cake. 2021 basher king (3S) for sure 💯👍😁😎⚓

Just went to my local hobby store to buy a Big Rock and they were sold out. I seen this truck and I actually have never seen it before. I really wasn't interested until I seen the pink and purple body and it looked epic! So I went ahead and bought it hoping I would like it. I got it home and been bashing it all day. I'm so happy I got it I have been having a absolute blast with it!

I think we may finally get a monster truck. We have offroad race rigs, crawlers, and even a few onroad cars now. For someone getting just 1 "monster truck" , would you suggest THIS, the Granite, an Associated Rival MT10, or would you suggest we consider moving up to the 4S stuff?

Nice show N&A! The tires are on the money. I run the Katar set from the Talion on my Mojave. I love em. You guys should try it out! I'll also see if these new Katar from the Vorteks are a good fit on the Mojave.
I'm impressed with the looks and road performance of this one for sure. Seems low and stable enough to keep from the traction roll that happens on the (stock) Big Rock Crew Cab and Granite.
Arrma making huge strides and maintaining the lead. Imagine *those other guys* shopping judges, ridiculous lawsuits against direct competition and still falling further behind with every model release.
This is the electronics that all their cars need! It will improve all their cars and trucks.

I have the Vorteks boost 4x2 but I fully upgraded it on almost every aspect 😂 to the 3s upgrade to the 4x4 metal diffs the only thing I need to do is replace the remote . Does the remote actually show battery life ?

It’s kinda annoying because the rustler is 430 with so fans or anything. Also I was wondering when I get my vortex should I get the smart battery combo? Because with my granite I bought a gensace with it.

Hey when you guys do your speed runs at the airport like that it is so cool, but what would make it a bit better is you have that long stretch of grass and with most of the off road vehicles you should do a speed run on the grass as well ,,, do it please thx.
Do u have to have the smart battery to tell the amount of juice u got left or will it work with other batteries. If u where to compare it in length high n weight to other rc which one is just as these one or really close thanks
Yes you need the smart battery to tell how much power is left within the cells... Spektrum smart packs work with the new ARRMA spektrum Radio's Its similiar to the Traxxas Rustler in size and weight.. Hope that answers the questions
That mith only applies on nimh batteries, lipo batteries only lose power when they are almost depleted
Most newer ESC's made within last 10 yrs start its power redcution when the pack drops to 30% of its capacity
