Plus it only takes 12 hours ( in average) to beat it and out of the 12 hours how many of it is narrative content? Very little. Definitely doable in a movie. @@awesomereviews1561 it'd still suck compared to a 6-8 hour long episodes. A movie would be a rushed two hours, losing little things along the way. There's no room for nuance. BioShock is a story driven game. You can do a movie with Mario. That's a lean story. With a movie we'll get another disappointing adaptation, like Assassin's Creed. And buddy if your concern is gay characters, you have insecurity issues you should deal with before you need to start worrying about movies. Go watch Uwe Boll films, that may be more your pace.

Bioshock is probably best and can be explored most.
A movie in the Bioshock universe should be about the events before the first game. About the coming fall.

I love bioshock but I don’t think this should be a movie. It should be a series, at least a limited one. It’s world is so huge and to condense it to just one movie would not do it any favors. I’ll probably still check it out because I love the series so much I’m still curious but I’m still unsure about this 😬
1 and 2 are masterpieces and 3 is a joke because the original game play that dropped was awesome but then the real one dropped.
Don’t need a movie of it. Leave it alone.
While I agree there are a lot of people who will miss out on this fantastic story just because it is a video game, and I can't help but feel sorry for them.

Bioshock 3-remaster, expanded story and some minor gameplay changes

For Jack I think a number of actors could play him considering he has no speaking role(except for the beginning of the game and the occasional noises he makes during the game.) the top 3 choices for me at least are Logan Lerman, Devon Sawa, or Steve Howey.
The reason why I’m putting the cast of each character from BioShock 1 and 2 here is in case they take the movie one of two ways. One way they’ll explain the origin of rapture and the eventual fall of the city or start off where Jack travels through the city in which we would only need the characters from the 1st game.

I don't know how i feel about this one if they based the movie off of the first two games it could work pretty well going off of horror films set under the sea like Lords of the Deep ect and they could make it as atrilogy

My personal opinion, this is not a game that needs a adaptation and will probably be ruined and not follow the game at all, then we'll get a lot of people that have not even played the game think they'll know BioShock " from watching it as a movie, The Last Of US was a adaptation that did work, but this feels like it'll be a cash grab, just my 2 cents.

The only successful adaptation netflix made are castlevania,arcane and Edgeruuner. Witcher and resident evil were failtures.
Netflix + bad ending of bioshock 1 is guaranteed trash. The whole thing of Infinite is with the DLC and the good ending of bioshock 1...
Although I love Bioshock, please stop with your fake platitudes. Witcher went woke, alienated fans, lost viewers and its main star. Resident Evil was a viewing figure disaster. PLEASE be honest!
