Bioshock.
The only game to ever truly deserve a perfect 10/10
Maxie Karn they don't make them like they used to.
do you mean 11/10
Maxie Karn Except the graphics aren't like today's. But I like how it is.
I can agree with that. It's not my favorite game but it is pretty much faultless.
IDK I kinda think skyrim would get a 10/10
My favorite character is Sinclair because of his character progression he went from using you for money to being your best friend and I got sad that he died and I couldnt save him.
DemonSilencer Same...though I also have a soft spot for Mark Meltzer. I still remember the shock I felt when I took down the final Big Daddy in Outer Persephone and seeing his name on the corpse. After I played that recording (and keep in mind that I saved all the Little Sisters), I said aloud, "I'll look after Cindy."
Oh god yes Its worst because you basically get to hear his whole story just to find out he became a big daddy just to be with his daughter
Sinclair was the only character i liked in bioshock.
Other people were simply dickheads
DemonSilencer Nice profile picture.
Dude i was gonna play the game for the 8th time in a row, spoilers!
Imagine... just imagine if bioshock the movie was directed by Steven Spielberg... it would be terrifying
maybe
***** yup
Mr.Woomcn and mr.heist Spielburg and co directed by Del Torro
Mr.Woomcn and MrHiest Imagine...just imagine if the movie was directed by Christopher Nolan. Nough said
Rasta Forouzan No
8:41 that image is from Skyrim...
(When you can't find 104 facts)
There is a similar Pacman reference though
Zackary Stephenson I know I just had to look 1 time you can see some vampire dust at the end
Yeah it's from Skyrim
alright thanks. When I saw it come up I was like "I thought that reference was in skyrim. Guess it was Bioshock" and then I saw your comment and was like "I knew it!"
I loved the second game, I especially preferred the Little Sister designs in that one as well.
mannystella so did I
mannystella Agreed
And the hacking is easier
I liked the designs in the second one the most, followed by burial at sea, then the 1st game’s design. The ones in the first game did not look himan
@@mcdastardly7814 I wouldn't say easier, just less time consuming
Bioshock 2 was an absolute genius master piece, I’ve never been so attached to characters so quickly. Idk how they did it but they literally just throw this child on you and you’re like I MUST PROTECT AT ALL COST. You don’t even think about it being for your own survival
Bioshock was made a while ago but it looks like it was make like a year ago
Man_In_A_Box I just played the original again and it shocked me on how good the graphics are, I already knew the game was amazing and perfect but even the graphics are amazing
Quite revelutionary for its time
@@pear2752 A big part of the game achieving such good graphics is the team being smart about resources. Part of the reason they opted for an underwater environment instead of a spaceship sort of thing again was because the murkiness of the ocean allowed for tons of windows and breathtaking scenery with a very limited render distance. After a certain point, the ocean doesn't let you see anything in real life. So they used this in the game to make detailed buildings and stuff close to your area without worrying about tons of detail past the murkiness
Been gaming since atari 2600, and i gotta say this is hands down the best storyline I've ever played. Bio shock isn't a game... It's an experience.
"God awful sweater" I have you know that it's called an Aran Sweater and they're actually quite stylish :P
Would you kindly do a 107 Bioshock Infinite facts?
No.
Go home, Geralt, you're drunk! :p
LennyTon till then heres one fact Bioshock Infinite was given so many alternate story lines before the final product was released. One story line had it where Elizabeth was able to control the elements. Theres a possibility these alternate story plots are actually alternate timelines thus why you see those elizabeths at the end of the main story.
TheBloodymAlice That's not a theory, it's pretty much a fact.
(he seems freaked out...you hear many...MANY...Would you kindly's...You probably would be scared)
Bioshock is my all time favorite game
ǂƟƔȜɌǂ ǂĐƟϨΣǂ Alice too
The first 2 games are very dense chalked full of depth the writing is impeccable and the combat mechanics are just like the newer games we see today which means those 2 are timeless the 3rd is awesome to but im still playing through i sure hope booker becomes nicer to that girl as the story goes lol
@@jamescampbell6080 She wasn't very nice to him at the end
108: Andrew Ryan is an electrical engineer. One of the best of his generation, according to one of the audio logs in the first game.
lol they used a skyrim picture for the pacman easter egg
Honest mistake. Lol, when I Googled "Pacman Bioshock easter egg" the first high quality image that popped up was the one from Skyrim, which is pretty dumb of Google tbh.
NuclearPeanuts Ahh a fellow Berserk fan
Sander Cohen is my favorite Bioshock Character. Someone so wrapped up in their work, trying to create something truly original that he forgets about Raptures fall and the squabble between Atlas and Ryan. Truly a fascinating individual. Second Runner Up is the Plastic Surgeon
I'm pretty sure Houdini splicers WERE in the game, maybe not the medical pavillion, but they were in the game
Gianna Arias he was talking about how in their image it shows them in the medical pavilion but they werent an enemy there. He never said they never showed up just that they were placed in an environment that they never appear in and never fixed that mistake in their promotional images of the splices.
I always thought the underwater city “rapture” was inspired by George Orwell’s 1984 city “Oceania”
Bioshock always gives me 1984 vibes
But free will is banner there
Many people don't seem to mention the Greek or Roman mythology names for places in the game.
For instance: In Bioshock, Andrew Ryan's "home" is Hephaestis. Hephaestis was the god of anything that had to do with metal and steel and iron, smiths and all.
He was a mighty man who was married to a woman, who cheated on him and gave birth to a child. Almost just as Andrew Ryan was the illegit father of Jack who never knew he had a son and Fontaine was the "father" or "inventor" or "creator" of Jack. Other more obvious references are Persephone as a prison (named after the daughter of the wife of Zeus) as Persephone was kidnapped by Hades and became the god of the death realm....
Bram25 Persephone was also one of the Furies, the kindly minded ones.
Persephone was not Hera’s (Zeus’ wife) child, she was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter
Gosh i really did not need to find another list channel to steal my time but i am so glad i did xD
OMG ROLY ROLY ROLY I LOVE U
i use the "would you kindly" line all the time in conversations with random people, sometimes without my (super convenient) Irish accent. its pretty funny to see some peoples responses...
They really need to make more bioshocks.
I have a news for ya.
I love songbird
@@janogabor7697 isn't it rumored of one in the works rn
I loved the multiplayer in bio2, it's the one multiplayer game that truly immersed you in the story. Rhe plasmid and weapons were fun to use as well.
Idk man first game
95 out of 100
Second 82 out of 100
Third 75 out of 100
And the dlcs for infinite were down right depressing
We needed choices like to stay in columbia or go back to rapture and to go with ryan instead of fontaine man how stupid could Elizabeth become what about booker to we should of had a choice of killing him or not i loved the original elizabeth but that last one ruined everything so hell no btw burial at sea 55 out of 100 they were falling off i hope they redeem themselves but if that bs continues than hell no

There needs to be another game. This series is way too interesting to end with Bioshock Infinite
i have news, bioshock 4 was announced yesterday
I hope thay make BioShock 5 just one more game that's all I'm asking 😭
I mean, as much as I want bioshock back, infinite and its dlc ended the story there isn’t anything left to say
@@Snowquigga besides all the infinite realities there are to explore now, imagine fighting big daddies on Columbia, tin patriots in rapture, or even both on the streets of in New York. Honestly, they could come up with plenty of cool things with this idea of all these timelines.
It would be cool if they made a bioshock game where they sent a submarine drone that finds rapture in ruins and discovers Adam and plasmids. Then of course brings it back to a lab on the surface and ultimately dooms society to become splicers. Just an idea lol
I miss the BioShock 2 multiplayer, I actually really enjoyed jumping in a big daddy suit and fuckin up other players
DOOM 4?
is it not in the collection?
JGB FRACTALIZER yes the problem is hardly anyone plays multiplayer anymore. Before the collection was released you'd be lucky just to have enough people to play one round in multiplayer.
if they put it in the collection I'm sure it would have been played lol no one plats it because its an old game on last gen. its a shame tho
It was really slow and it was really difficult to get a hang of so experienced players just ruined the experience for new players which is why nobody played it sadly.
Wait, 49 was a joke right? That Easter egg is from Skyrim
Wrong picture, but the fact is correct.
thanks for letting me know
No prob! I actually searched up "Pacman Bioshock easter egg" on Google, and the first high-quality image that pops up is the Skyrim one, which is dumb.
It's in a bar when you're sent to take pictures of 3 spider splicers.
Jane no its in the arcadia area
The whole premise of the Bioshock series is really…interesting. I have never seen the idea of a hidden city done almost perfectly along with a very well done punk/steampunk aesthetic. The story isn’t afraid to bash general consensus. Bashing greed and politics and things we try to ignore. It shows that freedom is good, but too much freedom always leads to evil. Too much good always leads to evil. It’s this abandoned, seedy, barbaric, chaotic, yet still fancy and robust, asylum like feeling. All these elements of evil and psychology. To show that a once noble project has turned into the opposite of what it set out to be. A place where the strong rule the weak, and the weak are killed. A place where a bullet is more powerful than words. A place where everyone is a drugged out psychopath. But the characters you do ally yourself with all have flaws. There is no black and white. Only different grays. And that’s what makes Bioshock so fascinating. Mainly the first game. The two sides are Ryan and Fontaine. Ryan is a better guy than Fontaine but he is also still an egotistical man who plays god in a land where he promised there was only man…but he is ultimately better for Rapture. Fontaine is a prohibition gangster style criminal and a smuggler…but he also never agreed with the egotistical hotheadedness of Ryan. It’s just a beautiful series, really.
MAJOR SPOILERS IN THIS VIDEO dont not watch this if you have not played the game just go out and buy it, then come back and watch it because you will become an instant fan of this series
I don't think anyone hasn't played this game
i havent
+Vagenious would you kindly loll yourself
All games or just Bioshock one?
So i SHOULD watch this if i haven't played the games?
the picture of pacman at 49 is skyrim -_-
Yea
+1
Well then.
and it was garlic, not bullet holes.
Yes, the picture in the video is from Skyrim, but in Bioshock there is a similar cheese wheel and it has bullet holes in front of it
11:08 OMG THE SIMPSONS PREDICTED BIOSHOCK
I love replaying the game especially when you see how beautiful rapture is in the biosphere, I love the sea setting when you look while walking through tunnels
why did they use a screenshot of the pacman easter egg from Skyrim instead of the one actually from bioshock at 8:40?
Loved the video, Love Bioshock series and my favorite character is Elenor Lamb, even after all those years she knew her dad "subject delta" was out there somewhere.
There will be a 107 BioShock Infinite Facts, right???
Charlene Alyssa Ingram sounds more like eminem rapping
.75 speed FTW
No , bioshock infinite is a disgrace to the bioshock name , and sucks ass
Bioshock Infinite is a poor successor to 1 & 2
@@jasonbliss6030 agreed.
I think its a no brainer that this channel should also have 107 facts video about Elder scrolls or at least Skyrim or Oblivion. If not already being made. Love the videos, keep them up!
One of very few games you can play a hundred times and not be bored.
NO JOKE, this is one of the most amazing games I've ever played. It was just perfect for me and what I was seeking. It hooked me sooo bad before I even got my own hands on it as a small lad. I can say that Bioshock game me a lot of food for thought and inspiration for my own ideas in art and literature. In addition to that it enlightened my interested in politics and ethics on another level. Amazing influence and entertainment!
This is what more games should be. It's a pure masterpiece I will always keep close to my heart!

Would you kindly do 107 facts about BioShock Infinite next please?
I think it was #39, Houdini Splicers are in the game
He meant in that particular area of the game, they don't show up there outside that preview/demo
What
This was amazing! Thank you!
I love BioSchock and Gone Home AND Firewatch! SO cool they're all connected like that.
Me and my father use the "would you kindly" around the house as a joke, with the thought "a man chooses, a slave obeys" in mind, and try to trick each other into doing things, or not doing things
Wait... Bioshock = Gone home = Fire Watch? **Head blows up**
Thank you for putting in number 9! Thank you sooooo much
Can't get over how many times I've played this and how much this influenced me
Wow, interesting to know how all-over the place this masterpiece's development was
Make that Bioshock RP game. That sounds truly fun.
i want a city building game..
. want build rapture
I'm forever going to remember getting the game early because Toys R Us had a glitch in their computers or something that told them to start selling early lol
that nimber 0451 in used in dishonored too
My favorite is booker Dewitt
Same 👍
I just finished Infinite last night. SPOILERS
Booker DeWitt is a pathetic man. A mass murderer who is one baptism away from becoming an evil Prophet. He gave away his baby daughter, and finished the game wanting to smother another baby in its crib, then being drowned by skinny young girls. I enjoyed the game play, for the most part, but although the story was interesting, it was also convoluted, ridiculous, and infuriating.
@@middlesiderrider for someone with a small, underdeveloped brain, perhaps
I'm pretty damn shoure that the picture for the pacman waster egg at 4:44 is from Skyrim...
Yeah it is, but look up the Bioshock Pac Man easter egg if you haven't seen it.
The sweater Jack wears is called an aren jumper it has an Irish origin
wow , usefull and interesting facts! I liked the information included !
Sooo, being the huge nerd that I am as well as a Kansas resident, I must inform the viewers that there is no city or town named Overlook in our state. There is, however, a small town named Overbrook just a few miles from the capital city of Topeka. Everything about Jack is a LIE!!!
most players simply overlook that fact.
there's also no city at the bottom of the Atlantic in case anyone was wondering that as well
LIES!!!!!!!
Water is wet.
Sorry I am a nerd.
just2pissuoff354R Would You Kindly?
#67 Wrong. It's set 8 years after the original.
and I thought I was the only one who noticed that
Honest mistake, Delta is dead for 10 years, then Jack shows up 2 years after that, then the down time between that and the second game is 8 years.
One thing to add is that in bioshock 2 when you kill a specific big daddy its name changes to Mark Meltzer and one of his audio log drops.
He is the last big daddy you fight.
#67 is wrong, BioShock 2 is set 8 years after the first game, but 10 years after the beginning cutscene from BioShock 2
would you kindly do 107 facts of silent Hill

God I love this game. So amazing. Could play it again and again

We need a video for Bioshock Infinite
Bioshock will always hold a dear place in my heart and i do believe that it is one of the best games ever made. Ive played plenty of games but none of which have I gotten more invested in then Bioshock.
I can't believe Sheryl Lee accidentally came to the studio. Twin Peaks, man!

Done!
I absolutely adore the BioShock games. I remember watching my dad play when I was a little girl, and I fell in love with everything about it. Still play it all the time. ☺️
Oh god, I restarted Bioshock 2 and found Jack’s wrench in a random place.
It's just a standard wrench design used in Rapture, you can find them all over in both games.
I love the gone home / bioshock connection, didn't know about that one. 😉
It's a lot easier to understand it when you put the speed on .75x
This and fallout 4 are the only games I've died 1000 times in and continue to play
If only I could be so grossly incandescent...

one of my fav franchise. Just had an chat with ken levine on twitter such a cool dude
my favorite is subject delta. I connected with him deeply and while never thinking I'd ever be a father he kinda made me think of how I would act to make a better example for my kids.
BioShock 2 probably my favorite game of all time
MOABKILLZu, I can extremely respect that, Bioshock 2 was an incredible sequel, but I guess people just never wanted it, and I can respect that too
MOABKILLZu same
Isnt Bioshock 2 set 8 years after the first game?
Jay Wheal It is. That's one part that he got wrong. The original Bioshock was set in 1960, while Bioshock 2 was set in 1968. He was probably confused by the fact that Bioshock 2's prologue takes place 10 years earlier.
I would have to go with Andrew Ryan for favourite character. There are so many great ones but he was always the one to give me goosebumps with his great and idealistic speeches. Such a well made character!
I actually remember the “There’s Something in the Sea” campaign.
Fact 52: You also could have included a reference in Fallout 4, where the numbers 0451 is the passcode for a steel door where a.44 Magnum "The Gainer" can be obtained next to a human skeleton... The gun does 15 points of Fire damage.
The fire damage sucks
PreserveBigCats, Too bad because this video is about Bioshock and not Fallout 4
PreserveBigCats, There is also a ton of games that use this code, so they're not all winners
PreserveBigCats it also happens in Dishonored. 451 opens the first save you find
Dishonored 1, Dishonored 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider all use 451 as the code for the first safe encountered in each game. If I remember correctly, people that worked on Deus Ex also worked on the Dishonored series, which may be why the games use code.
8:44 thats from skyrim lmao
Anyone else see the present Jack is holding in fact 14 has at the bottom of the note " Would you kindly" ????????
just finished the first two and love it. bout to go for the third and final one.👍

8:44 love that scene from skyri.... I mean bio shock
Can you do bio shock infinite
I like big Daddy
I just realized that the music in the back ground near the 2 to 4 min mark is in both these and the fallout games neat.
Great video!
Can't stand Gone Home because of it's bland story, non-existent game play, and BIG BRASS BALLS of it to even say that it's on Par with Bioshock.
He never said its on par, only that its in the same universe
Andrew Jackson
I know, I was referring to the creators of Gone Home. Honestly what's the point of making it in this Terrible scholastic teen story in the same universe as the thought provoking Bioshock? I think that they (Gone Home) are just arrogant for doing that.
WC LV Well its not uncommon for creators to reference other games that they were involved in.
At the very least they didin't go as far as to make characters from GH related or have some part in Bioshock's story.
It can be easy to assume that these are just easter eggs and that the two games being in the same universe is superfluous.
I thought Gone home was a great game. It's really short but the story it tries to tell is a great one. Bioshock is better though.
Christopher Harrell
The in Gone Home was like the game play. Boring, uninteresting, and pandering.
Can't find anything about the 2003 demo
Same. Not anywhere
It was a tech demo. If you have bioshock: the collection they talk about it in one of the directors cuts. It was used just as a proof of concept to get a publisher.
