BJ is the Doom Slayers ancestor. It's been confirmed by ID. That's why the sprites looked similar among other Easter eggs in the 2 series over the years, including the Harbinger of Doom enemy in Wolf RPG being the cyberdemon.

I just go in guns blazing,besides stealth isn't my strong suit.

I like to think the reboot series started with 2001's Return to Castle Wolfenstein, then 2009's Wolfenstein, then Old Blood, New Order and now New Colossus. Deathshead and Caroline both appeared in the older games, so it ties in continuety. However, what messes it up is a charactor dies in RtCW, then turns up in Old Blood and then dies again.
Am I the only one that things The New Order has a lot more darker themes? There was a lot more detail in the Nazi experiments and the sheer disturbing-ness with the visuals in the labs and the experimental robot before the final boss.
If you listen to the guards on the platform above you in the beginning of the venus mission you can hear one talk about the prison break in the new order
The second fact was false. Bethesda didn’t make DOOM or Dishonored. They only published them. DOOM was made by id and Dishonored was by Arkane
They said it was published by Bethesda.
It can be confusing because Bethesda is a publisher like Activision but there's another Bethesda that develops games like Insomniac.

The villains are comically evil, which when they're literal Nazis, you have to double down on it. I just finished New Colossus and some Frau Engel moments made me think "What are you, a Nazi- oh right"
Why do you only think that there are 2 new wolfenstein games? What about the Old Blood?
Because Old Blood is a DLC for New Order. New Colossus may get its own DLC, I'm not sure though.

True, but it is a part of New Order, because if it was it's own game then it would be Wolfenstein II: The Old Blood (and it wouldn't make sence because it's a prequel).

To be technical - it doesn't really give you a *another* choice to make - it just decided not to cut off the branches from New Order. So, right off the bat it asks which guy you chose to save in the previous game. You have no say in which characters in New Colossus live or die, and Fergus/Wyatt doesn't get killed again (unless you count the flashback from New Order, of course)
Is the Old Blood something that people forget is also part of this series? It sets up the beginning of The New Order and delves into some of the things previous games before it had such as wonder serums that bring back the dead.
Fun fact the poem about the new colossus actually comes from a poet seeing a statue called the colossus in the greek island of Rhodes. The statue of liberty is literally the new colossus. The original was built in honor when ( insert empire in Turkey that I can't remember or pronounce.) Tried to conquer the island of Rhodes. The seige lasted an entire year and the rohdians beat back the invaders. So they built the colossus statue in honor of their victory during the seige. However the original colossus collapsed and I'm told that the rhodians smelter it. The original colossus stood as a symbol of freedom and liberty. Wich is why I think it was chosen for the statue of liberty.

5:14 id Tech 6 was used for the two most recent Doom games? There is only one recent Doom game. Its predecessor, Doom 3 was released in 2004 and used id Tech 4. The only id game (as in: made by id) that used id Tech 5 was Rage, and then last year Doom came out and used id Tech 6. Quake 4, the fist Prey and a couple of other games used Doom 3's id Tech 4 engine as well.

Technically...the fourth, if you want to include Fallout:BoS (Interplay) and Fallout Tactics: BoS (Micro Forté).
And that's not even touching on the fact that Bethesda *Softworks* is the publishing company - not the developer (Bethesda *Game Studios*). So, if we're going to use "behind" to refer to publishers, then Interplay published Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. 14 Degrees East published Fallout Tactics, and Bethesda Softworks published Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 4.
The games are completely different. Bethesda pretty much just bought the lore and used it to make a game that ages a lot better. I mean i like those games but bethesda really did make their own version of fallout and deserve the credit for what they have done with the series. Its certainly a lot more than interplay could do with it.
I used to beg my husband to play NWO because it was like a movie. It was that good.

Emilio Reyes the last of us is the same way. I love games that are like movies. I’m not a huge gamer myself bc I’m working all of the time, but I love when my husband finds a game he thinks I’ll like and then plays it when we both are home from work.

Machinegames made 1 misson pack for quake (dimension of the past) and they only made it for the 20th anniversary i dont think they would get much credit for that

number 79. you got partly wrong. the rats in wolfenstein 3d were only in the SNES version of the game as nintendo felt killing dogs would be too graphic for their console. the dogs were in the rest of the versions. at least the ones i played when it originally came out

Oh so this is why I liked this so much more than anything I’ve played in the past two years.
I have been needing to use a wheelchair for the past few weeks and then I got Wolfenstein 2 for my birthday last week.... I broke down seeing that I started the game sitting in a wheelchair while playing the game.... sitting in a wheelchair! I'm still playing but that part hurt me for some reason and I think I know why.... still a fun game.

Is there a reason to like the lasercraftswerk more than the dieselcraftswerk? I mean, dieselcraftswerk has explosive damage. The lasercraftswerk is precise, so it isn't as useful up close.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was made by Grey Matter and Nerve Software, not id Software. id Helped but werent at the helm. For Wolfenstein 2009, it was Raven Software, not id Software. You made a major mistake there guys.

I think that they should have included something about the fact that Hitler was enamored with the Native Americans. Just this fact alone could have really impacted the series of events with this game.
