Though I am more of those who are actually happy the game doesn't throw waifus at you like is getting out of style, I actually like how they have their own preferences and agendas, meaning, how the world doesn't revolves around the MC.

interestingly enough, the particular voiceline where the text says that she's still single doesn't really go in line with the actual Japanese voiceline. according to my (very) limited Japanese listening skills, all she said is that she's "still young", and mentions nothing about her relationship status. though, the EN localization works do be kind of jank at times, and i don't really know which language has more creative liberty put into their respective localization.
that being said, i don't think any of her voicelines closes off the possibility of a romantic relationship developing.
@@axios4702 I mean Azur Lane syndrome isn't a bad thing, it's just that Arknights not being harem simulator is a nice change in pace.
I swear, not falling for the Doctor for these operators just makes its more fulfilling with their priorities and originality. Personally I like it, sure your favourite waifu may not fall for you but i guess that what's makes us fall for them more

My guesses as to why operators don't want to get too intimate with the Doctor are: your sex is unknown; many of them see Rhodes Island as only a part of their overall mission, and would prefer having professional relationships with it; and the Doctor is a close guarded secret who it is.
I mean kal'sit literally told us in one of her dialogue that to not speak anything about our conditions and origin
to be fair our background is still unknown (even we dont even know ourselves lmao) so its fair that they dont really see us more than just friends or business partners

I mean, he's also just trolling. In the previous videos, several operators are blatantly into the Dr.
Plat, BP, Matoi to wit. But Qaiser comes up with an imaginary dialogue to rule them out.
I don't have many of the newer ops up to 200 trust to say much. Skalter literally wants to grape doctor. So... shrugs.
Some of the "wholesomes" are also belying the fact that real m-f relationships frequently have a "daddy" aspect to them. Without knowing the character's age ... La Pluma would be a strong suspicion.

What an experience it was tu put this video in a background and listen to being rejected for 11 minutes straight. My favorite kind of content, much love.
Honestly makes it more real in my opinion. Realistically no one will easily fall for anyone especially in a semi apocolyptic scenario like Terra in Arknights. However, this ssame scenario could amplify the feeling of love when certain conditions for aa person has been met. I think i know a handful that really do like the doctor more than a profesional relationship.
It's quite the handful alright a few can be interpreted to be flirty somewhat but still ambiguous enough others are just real direct with it

I too come to the point that almost every operator in Arknights doesn't love me like a soulmate. Atleast i can still be friends with them, like April and Tequila (Two of my favorite ops that i maxed out)

I wonder how Whislash would react to seeing Silverash push Pramanix onto Doktah in an attempt to continue the bloodline... Would she freak out, realizing that there is a greater than zero chance for Doktah, someone she very much so respects, may get taken away from her? Would she embarrassedly ask Dobermann for counsel about her true feelings? Would she barge in and try to outcharm Pramanix? The options!
I love how Arknights characters aren't head over heels for the doctor but are more realistic with how they do things emotionally.
These operators may be saying no but what about Qaiser himself would he say yes?

All I know is that: I'm happy Tachanka sees the Dokutah as a brother, the dude is a legend and was one of my favorites during his event. Whisperrain's bit made me cry not because "damn I got rejected" but because she lives in constant fear of forgetting people and that just physically hurts my heart.
I found this video a very informative and soul-crushing experience. Liked and subscribed.

According to Phantom's CN event, giving someone a rock is a really big deal among the Sarkaz subrace known as Gargoyles. Mudrock's a Gargoyle, and her token is a rock. I rest my case.
I am happy that none of my waifus would be into me. Perfectly reflects my irl. Also from an RI standpoint I wouldn't want them to cloud their on field judgement just because the Doctor exists. I will be happy dreaming about Priestess' promise and what it means .
Given the nature of Arknight's story, romance isn't something that will be an obvious possibility for most characters. However, it is pretty nice that most of your operators are fond of you and grow to respect you. I'd say romance would be a possibility, since the foundation is there for many characters, it's just not something that can be explored in the format of the game while keeping lore and story consistent.
Though in regards to Mudrock, I certainly would say she has one of the highest chances in this list - and I'm not just saying that cause she's my waifu - but her idle voiceline is her talking to her clay doll, telling it "That person napping over there is the Doctor. Remember that well. Our road together is sure to be long and far". Whatever her relationship to you is, it seems that she is planning on it to be a committed one.
I think we can place like a third(this is incorrect) of the ops in ??? purely because about that many of them have lines that you could absolutely interpret as flirting with the Doc, and I believe that devs made it like that exactly so we could interpret it if we're into the character.
Like, easy example is Pinecone, who very clearly wants to get some one-on-one time with Doc, but that doesn't necessarily mean she wants a romantic relationship.
I would really put Mudrock in a maybe too. Why'd she straight quick come up with ideas to make you spend some time with her? Because she wants to spend some time with you. Because she considers you a friend? Totally. More? Possibly. Plus it's really not a normal practice to get flustered just to say "hey, talk with me for a while" and it's not like she never had friends and is unsociable

Edit: I went into my humble 150 collection and counted everyone who I'd say is a maybe or yes and I admit I absolutely overdid it with "a third". It's not even a fifth in reality. Not even a seventh.
I'd say that Wisperain's and Surtur's operator files and jnteractions should make them a very weak "maybe" .
Surtr seems to warm up to the doctor to the point of considering taking him on her journey, while wisperain actively tries to do something to get closer to us and remember those moments.
I really like the fact that we got so many wholesome relations this year, and they're Way better than the "everyone falls for the mc" stereotype.
While it is true that Whisperain is afraid of losing her memories, I'm pretty sure she's interested in the doctor.
She asks to watch a movie with you (movie ticket stubs have a special meaning to her) and specifically wants to 'preserve memories with you'.

i am someone who got into arknights through genshin only recently, and seeing arknights which is a significantly smaller game in terms of number of players and views. It makes watching any kind of arknight content on youtube feel just that more intimate like a little community away from everyone else. This channel is absolutely one of my favorites for arknights, the lore of the game has made me nearly tear up a couple times from your videos so thank you. :)

Im ok with the wholesome (father, brother, mentor) relationships, the bros relationship is fine too, the world of arknights its cruel, and everybody has its own problems, but its cool to know that some of your favorite operator trust and respect you.

Angelina, Bagpipe, Blue Poison and Gravel are one of the few people who is genuinely attracted to the Doctor. Bagpipe is generally nice to everyone, but she treats the Doctor a bit special, whe said in her trust tap voice line that she wanted to have a picnic with only the two of you, not with everyone. She also wants to farm potatoes with you.

It just said that she lost control of her arts and end up burning the dokutah's clothes when she is close to the dokutah. This might be a sign, or might be not lol. I mean, you can pull an Uno reverse card here - for all those characters that are too busy with lots of work, stress of managing difficult situations, and having way to much to deal with to be emotionally available, the same can be said about Doctor. Besides tactical command Doctor also does research, recovers knowledge lost due to amnesia, takes part in treatment of the infected, manages internal affairs, resources, and the business side of things, plus relations with other parties. Half the time Doctor is working of basically antidepressant energy drinks.
But the game does leave enough wiggle room for your fantasies if that strikes you fancy.
