Main difference is you can get 100k above right after MBA(most probably easily) but in case of Canada even you are a top MBA graduate its really hard to get 100k salary even after maybe 5 years of experience.
Simply said you cant earn alot of money in canada if thats your priority. But what Canada provide is Security as PR is easy.

Quality of Higher education like MBA is of the same quality in Canada & USA. Because of the close proximity of the nations & similar language/corporate culture. So it makes better sense to go where the tuition is cheaper which is Canada. Moreover after a certain point of time in the professional sphere it only matter what you bring to the table; not from where you got your education.

If you are from one of the top 3 schools in Canada you would have exactly the same toolkit to harness as an American B schools. Job opportunities are also pretty similar be it MBB or Amazon (esp in Vancouver). The thing to note is that the Canadian economy is much smaller and opportunities are fewer so the competition for those spots is a lot higher.

Canada doesn't have many amazing b schools honestly, rotman being the only one which I guess is ranked somewhat good.B school is worthless if you don't go to a big brand name b school,so choose wisely. In that aspect if you don't have the profile to get into top foreign b schools(Wharton, hbs, gsb, insead, lbs) writing cat is honestly a better option, considering they mainly focus on grades. And let's be honest,no offense, but this person was from amity, which pretty much eliminated any chances at the top b schools (they want high GPAs and the iit tag or bits pilani, and other highly selective colleges)

I want to add that this range is only true for Corporate Finance roles. It is a misconception that you cannot make 150k or more without going to a director level. You can definitely make this kind of money getting into PE, Investment Banking, CRE, Tech consulting etc. Really depends on your Niche, so not true. For Investment Banking and PE they pay double your salary in bonus, so it may say base salary as $130,000 but really they are making around 200-250 at associate level all in. For the rest of the ones I've mentioned bonuses are at least 20%- 60% with 20% being the lowest bonus for being a new average employee. Starting Salary is around 65-70k meaning if you get a role as just an Analyst without much experience that is the range normally in Toronto. Biggest advice is don't work for big banks they actually do not pay the best. Go for other types of big company's if possible.

No offence but GSU has a acceptance rate of 70 percent. It’s a below average college. I don’t get how he thinks they’ll have equal opportunities as UBC.

mba in canada is not a cakewalk . I have been living here for 10 years. average salary for rottman is 70k which is the normal salary for people with no mba(4-5 year experience) . Go for top uni in usa.

Great work! I love all your videos. So much better than the tiktok vs YiuTube trash. We can work towards planning out future and get an edge over the others. I wonder what I would watch if you weren't making videos!

*Singh, as you know of the 150-200 year Greencard backlog for Indians*
So if I opt for citizenship through investment in Dominica or Saint Lucia paying $100000 after saving for 2-3 years in USA or loan, it will be quite easy to get green card in less than a year. In the future if my taxes reach 6 figures, it would also help me cut taxes. Please make a video on this topic and let us know if it is worth it.

Waiting period is according to country of birth not country of citizenship. Varna sab Indians Nepali banke jaldi se green card le lengey.

hahaha greencard depends on country of birth not on citizenship
a suggestion for you : go to any corrupt African country and try to make fake certificate and then apply for US. if you have guts you can also starts it as your black buisness and earn in crores as you know waiting periods for Chinese and Indians are over 150 yrs

I don’t understand the comment of “security” and “peace of mind” and “difficult to make any city home” in America. I know many Indians who’ve peacefully make America their home.

    Hi Harnoor,
My UG CPI from IIT-K is 6.8/10. How does the conversion work and would it qualify for UBC MBA's requirement of "Three or four-year Bachelor's degree with a B+ average, or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution"?
